We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Alcudia is suitable for everyone, there is varied entertainment, loads of restaurants, a beautiful beach and loads of shops.

This hotel though says is in Pto Alcudia (edge of)though actually is nearer to Playa de Muro and beach opposite busy road is called Muro beach. Quieter than Pto Alcudia.
Would be helpful to be bit more geared up on local tourist info, eg there was a market in Playa de Muro and didn't know of it until on way back to airport, however visited the market in Alcudia town.
Buses fairly cheap about 1.35 euros and fairly regular. The resort was quieter than Pto Alcudia but both resort and beach were very clean. Some days went on beach mid afternoon till teatime and didn't have to pay for sunbed, just stacked 'em when we left.
Entertainment in most hotels and was just a case of finding one that we liked. The lookey lookey men were funny and not at all bothered when we said 'no thanks' but they were funny with their 'Asda price, cheap as chips, buy one get one free, lubbly jubbly' obviously well taught by our kinsman! The henna tatoo we had stated 4-5 weeks, utter rot, knew it probably would be, so just take with a pinch of salt.
Taxis easy enough to get to anywhere. We took taxi from Pto Pollensa boardwalk area up to mountains and LLuc monastery, cost 33 euros, and only stayed 15 mins, I would have loved to stay longer but son and hubby wouldn't have, however would now be more prepared to state length of stay to taxi driver and not other way round.
There was also a bus from there that went to Formentor through the mountains and a bit hairy, taking you to Formentor beach, very quiet, just ask cost before committing to anything.
Had great day at Hidro park and son had picture taken before we could blink, but just didn't buy it! Also did Nemo trip(Magalluf), son impressed, husband not, I went along FOC on coach and sat on beachfront with coffee and book, great.
All in all tried rebooking immediately but will need to wait for summer prices to come out. Major point, resorts are a bit sore at the travel industry as everything was notably quiet, and as they quite rightly say, the Baltics and Croatia, Turkey etc being pushed more and cheaper but I would personally would still prefer to go back again!

Alcudia had a beautiful long beach, that seems to go on for miles and miles. Without children you could easily while away your day there - best to go in the morning though as the after-noon gets far too hot.
The town itself is vast. There are many bars and restaurants to choose from, but be careful there are also many touts about, who try to get you into their bars or restaurant.
I would imagine in low season it is very quiet and just nice, but personally in high season I cannot stand the touts, so would probably go to a more low key resort near to Alcudia (say Porto Pollensa)if I went around June time again.

The resort is always very clean. Entertainment is of plenty although we spent most of our time in comics and Smugglers two british bars within five minutes walk of the hotel.
We spent as much time at the beach as we did the pool it is very clean and the water is not too deep so the kids can play happily and safely. This resort has something for everyone.

The resort of Alcudia is picturesque with long beaches and tonnes of excellent places to eat.
The night life is great with something for all the family.
Golden beaches and a nice gentle slope into the med is great to while away an hour or two.
All in all we would definately visit Alcudia again, although in a different hotel.

The 'Playa de Muro' area of Alcudia has quite a few bars , shops and restaurants to choose from, but a 20-25 min walk, or a 4 euro taxi ride you find the 'Belle Vue area', which is about 2-3 time larger, and 10 mins walk futher on you will come to the port... Beautiful.
'Cheers' bar in the Playa de Muro area up the side of the Burger King is fantastic for entertaining the young ones, one night they were going from 8.30 to 11.30, we could not get them to go back to the hotel.
The 'Pinetree' bar, next to the 'Smiths' serve a lovely pint of Strongbow to quench your thirst for 3 euros, Just as cheap as back home, and they have to import it as well.
'Woody Woodpeckers' in the BellVue area, good for quizzes, and cheap drinks too. Pint and a half and 2 soft drinks 4.70 euros...That would be 7.40 euros in our hotel.
Try the 'El Patio' restaurant for a T.bone steak to die for, and cooked on an open B.B.Q. grill in front of you. It's excellent value for money too, compared to other restaurant prices and absolutely huge. It's after the Chinese Restaurant and opposite 'Martins' and 'Naples' italian restaurant just past the Alcudia Mar Hotel in the Playa de Muro area.
Beach is fantastic, perfect for children too, who can walk out for ages before it gets too deep, with peddaloes, parasailing, bannana rides and doughnuts to hire and go on. No jet-skis though. :(
All in all, an excellent clean resort, in which you feel totally safe and is perfect for families or couples.
