We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

Beaches

If it wasn't for the beach I would have been lost as the pool area was a no go and the beach was perfect. There was no chance of getting a bed if you weren't down for 7.
I will definately not be returning to Alcudia and would not recommend it.

Alcudia is the best place we have visited on holiday. The kids loved it - so many bars have children's entertainment (even though we spent a lot of time in the hotel as we had all-inclusive). The beach was so clean and fresh it just looked like a postcard! There were plaenty of shops around the resort and so much to do and see that we could never get bored. We visited the old town, which had Roman ruins and old walls, which we walked around. We booked some excursions with a British tour company called No Frills Excursions. We went to Aquacity and Inca Market. Aquacity was excellent for the kids. There are loads and loads of big scary slides, but we were pleased to see how many childrens pools and areas there were too. Inca Market was brilliant, we could have spent all day there buying presents for the family! It's good that it closes half day or we would have spent all our money! We booked the trips at a supermarket in the centre of Alcudia called Colber. Colber is a great supermarket and in a very good location. we didn't need a supermarket very much because we had all inclusive but it would be great for anyone self catering. The resort offers loads for everyone and we can't wait to go back next year to see even more of the island.

We were in a great location in the centre of the resort and we could easily find the shops and bars and restaurants nearby. We ate out every night and we always ate somewhere different. For food, the best places were the restaurants in the Port area of the resort, where the harbour is. We found it a bit less touristy around that area and lots of the restaurants were very good, with good value. The best places for entertainment were the bars around the area where we were staying. That seems to be the family area and there's a lot of kids' entertainment. The beach was fantastic and the sea safe.

I have been to alcudia several times in the past and in my opinion it is a very clean place, caters for all ages and you can walk for miles as everywhere is flat.

On a holiday with 14 other people, ageing from 7 to 65, I can say that there was plenty to keep us all entertained.
We stayed in Fedra 1, and there is not a single fault any of us could point out. The apartments were of a generous size, besides the kitchen, but being on holiday you tend to eat out most the time.
The Resort it self was a great huge place with a variety of pools and places to go to. Every day was something a bit different.
Although the beach was some 15 Minutes walk away, it was a nice stroll and had the chance to go into a shop if need be.
All in all, 10 out of 10

The beach is absolutely gorgeous. White sand with the water sloping out gently. The does not get deep for quite a bit out.
I found Alcudia very clean indeed.
I cannot comment on the resort entertainment as I stayed within the Mariners Club at night.
I would definately go back to Alcudia - it is soooooooo suited for families.

We stayed in the old part of Alcudia which was very beautiful and rocky round the headland, the beach was accesible via the hotel and some hotel guests would drag sunbeds from poolside to the beach - therefore leaving even less sunbeds round the pool area! The sea was full of seaweed and fish would come right up to the shoreline which the kids loved. Whilst there, we had a two day electrical storm and the little bay by the beach was full of jelly fish!

Alcudia is a delightful place. The beach is clean and has super sand. There are some local areas of interest such as the market in the old town;this is definitely worth a visit with its buzzing stalls and Roman ruins. From Alcudia we ventured on the catamaran and had a fabulous time at the northern most tip of the island-a definite must as we sampled fresh sardines cooked on board. Another bonus is the water park which is visible from the Alcudia Beach Apartments, only twenty minute's walk away and a fun day out with massive slides, pools and a relaxing sun bed area at a reasonable price.
