The resort in April is mainly closed. Tumbleweed in the street! get the picture. I would not re visit the resort as I believe it is to quite, however it is clean and tidy, harbour area lovely and recently rejuvinated.
I would seek out accomodation in Cala Millor, next door, which is larger with more to do and see. It to is undergoing upgrading, new street surfaces etc(very nice).
The whole area is good for hiring cycles and taking time out cycling along the sea front.

First time I have ever stayed in Cala Bona, It was just lovely .
Lots of shops bars and places to eat.
Although a lot were closed in March.
This is not a young persons place like Magaluf it is more for older people ,couples and families.
The beach can be a bit rocky not soft golden sands like some of the other resorts.
Because it is so flat a lot of push bikes are about with shops to hire them for all ages.
We loved the place and will go back again

The resort is a little bit quiet for March and the weather wasn't that good. Mixed. When the sun did come out it was lovely and hot.

The hotel entertainment was OK but wanted a bit more life asked rep any where else to go and suggested Sand dancers Bar one street back from harbour.

Great bar and lovely people make you feel welcome. Had just opened for the season. Faz the entertainer is great with his singing and jokes (hello mate if you ever read this..said we'd give you a mention).

The bar was indoors but has a lovely big terrace which opens with the warm weather, and a free play area for the kids, with a cinema.

The football is shown on match days. Anyway went most nights and would definitely give it a shot. There is also a brand new Indian opp Sand dancers due to open in April so we just missed out and also a new Chinese down the road.

Some of the main restaurants were still closed but Rope and Ancore served nice meals. All in all lovely holiday would love to visit in high season.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't that good for March so a little disappointed. Still some days were sunny. The resort is a lovely place, lovely harbour not all resturants open yet. Did venture out to a couple of bars in the evening, mainly Sanddancers Bar just down the road.

Geordie couple run it and make you feel really welcome. The little one was immidiatley given a lolly and asked if he wanted to play on the free playstations. Great.

They also have a great play area and cinema but was closed until April. We loved the entertainment and good prices especially the Free cocktail we got for our anniversary!Great night and worth a visit.

The beach was OK but didn't really get chance to use it.

The resort I bet is really nice in Summer and would definitely go back then.

Cala Bona is an extremely pleasant resort, running into Cala Millor in an unbroken promenade. We loved the range of restaurants and bars there, particularly the Thalassa Cafe (if you avoid the house wine), which sits right into the harbour.

Between the two resorts there really is so much choice that we never had any problem finding lunch or a quiet (or noisy) drink.

The beach was very clean, until one storm brought up a lot of seaweed, but they were clearing it away first thing the next morning, so it wasn't a problem.

The beach at Cala Millor is better than Cala Bona, as there is more sand and less shingle, but both were very clean.

The resort was a single high street with plenty of bars & places to eat. You could walk it all in 15 mins. If you want a beach or more shops & bars you need to walk a little further into Cala Millor which is much larger & busier.

One very surprising thing for a English person is to go somewhere where the streets are clean without litter everywhere.

There is planty of entertainment but not over the top i.e. there is not blaring music on every street corner, not really suitable for out and out ravers.

Found the prices reasonably in the bars in the resort.

Beachs very clean with planty of people enjoying them, the beach is mainly at the north end, but there is enough to go around.
