Cala Ferera is quiter than Cala D'Or , which has loads of restaurants and very much busier. This is not for those wanting a peaceful holiday , but geared up for families. The awful thing about this resort is that it is developers gone mad without any thought for the scenery. You cannot go out in a car in this resort and look to sea, because the whole view is just concrete apartments.

The resort (Cala D'or) is quite upmarket compared to some of the resorts on Mallorca. There are designer shops, smart wine bars and restaurants, especially around the harbour where you can sit and watch the millionaires yachts coming in. It is easy to navigate your way around the centre and if you are hiring a car it is easy to find your way around. There is a small train like bus that picks up regularly throughout the resort and takes you all over Cala D'or. There are lots of bars offering entertainment and exceptional food. The beach is clean but can be quite busy. Personally think its a great resort!

I have been to cala dor 6 times and continue to return, it has plenty to offer but still retains a cosmopolitan charm.

Resort of Cala D'or was very quiet for this time of year, but entertainment was just starting to pick up. Enjoyed our stay there, with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Lovely resort to visit, would definately go back.

We stayed in the quieter area of Cala Ferrerra, about 15mins from Cala D'Or. It wasn't particularly busy at our time of travel (May) but you could tell it was becoming livelier by the day. The beaches are excellent and I would definitely visit here again if I was looking for a relaxing holiday.

Cala D'or is a beautiful resort, it is very clean. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars which are to suit every budget.
The beaches of Cala D'or are beautifal sandy coves which are all within walking distance of each other, our favourite was Cala Ferrera which has lovely fine white sand.
We have already been looking for next year.

Cala D'or is a beautiful clean resort, with plenty of bars and restaurants to suit everyone.
There are 4 different beaches which are all beautiful sandy coves. Our favourites were Cala Gran and Cala Ferra. The beaches are quite small though so I would imagine would get quite crowded during the summer months.
We will definitely be going back next year.

Nice resort
Quiet, which is what we like, no noisy yobs!
Clean and tidy on the whole.
Love the beaches, situated in coves so no long seashores, just clear blue lagoons. But beware jellyfish wash in sometimes and many peaple, including myself were stung.
Entertainment is quite good, but if you are the type who want to be out all night long partying etc then you will be hard pressed to find it here. This is for the people who want a more realaxing, quiet holiday.

stayed in cala egos for one week pretty resort but beach was to small even cala d'or enjoyed eating at tonys and western steakhouse would go here again.
