C'an Picafort is a traditional seaside town with bars restaurants and souvenir shops...don't expect any more than that.
The beach was clean but after getting sand everywhere we decided to limit our beach trip to just the once!
Overall we had a good holiday and were sad to be going home, would recommend it to anyone wanting a good family holiday.

Ca'n Picafort is a mostly German resort and the standards are very high.

We visited the resort two years ago and stayed in a all British Hotel but enjoyed our holiday this time much more even though the Hotel was German majority we thought the standards were much higher.

The resort we feel was better than two years ago it seemed to have been tidied up alot the promenade was much better with the cafe tables on the one side.

The beach was very clean and felt safe with life guards and first aid bases. Entertainment is mainly bars and cafes in the evening did not see many restaurents so were glad we were half board at our hotel.

We would certainly return to this resort again.

We enjoyed our stay in the resort of C'an Picafort and felt it was well situated to get to other resorts. We caught the bus to Alcudia on several occasions and hired a car for the day so we could see the rest of the island.

We found Alcudia to be more busy than C'an Picafort and things were more expensive. It took an hour to drive from C'an Picafort to Palma. It was well sign posted and the roads were newly laid and very straight.

Very old shabby looking, the road down to the large supermarket contains smashed up cars and is basically a dumping ground not pleasant, but plenty bars etc to keep you going for two weeks, which you will need to escape the village entertainment now & again.

Bus service excellent run every 15 mins to Alcudia & Puerto Pollensa. Costs 1.20 euros each. Excellent value.

We only ventured into resort a handful of times as we were staying all inclusive. We liked the 'statue' that was there every evening and my daughter was thrilled to get a wish. The bars and restaurants seem to cater for a variety of tastes. We tried to avoid the English pub type bars, which I've seen recommended on this site as watching Eastenders and Corrie on holiday and doing Karaoke every night doesn't do much for us. We did think it was quite funny coming across English and German bars situated next door to each other, each trying to outdo themselves in patriotism an tackiness, but there are plenty of restaurants serving good food and bars where you can watch the world go by, which cater to all nationalities.

Although it's not as pretty as Puerto Pollensa, we would visit this resort again as it's not too big, unlike Alcudia and is ideal for families.

I prefer Alcudia to Ca'n Picafort. There wasn't much where we were, it was a longish walk to the Beach, especially for my in-laws and too long to go to the market on Friday.

Resortwise- Didn't venture out too much as my daughter wanted to watch the very entertaining "thingy" and Louise at the mini disco, but I think the resort is perfect for young families.

It's a short walk to the beach and there are some friendly bars along the way. Worth a visit is Williams bar and also the London bar (If Alex ever finds the reviews.. they are talking about him and not his dad!)

The downside, the beach doesn't "feel" clean and is covered in cigarette ends. However, overall a fantastic holiday and very recommended.

C'an Picafort very disappointing. There is nothing other than houses, hotels, restaurants, gift shops and beach.
