The Beach was dirty but clean if you can understand that. Parts of the beach was dirty but walk a few 100 yards and it would be clean. The sea isn't too deep and you could walk out far. The prom. was very clean and the restaurants/bars look very inviting. You can walk along without being hassled to come in to the bars.

The resort was great if a little quiet, very German all restaurants had menus tranlated in German and English.
Lots of little gift shops, do shop around as you always find a gift cheaper in another shop.

Beach was nice and clean sea quite warm and shallow.

Only ate in one restaurant as All inclusive. Went to Wotsits bar which was great food, atmosphere and fun bingo.

Market was ok but the stuff there was cheaper in the shops and if you look at anything (nothing is priced) they grab your arm and try to sell it to you which I hated and we didn't buy one thing. Lovely marina area too.

We hired those bike things that we could all sit on from easy rider - English bloke so easy to hire and cheap too, though 1 hour was enough.

There is a train called the Can Picafort express which you can hop and off off all day, it was a good way of seeing everything that was in the town we used it a few times it was 10 euros for the 4 of us so quite reasonable.

Beach looks okay, no traffic which was good & a great array of shops, pubs & restaurants. Didn't go in sea as apparently lots of sea weed which not keen on. Plenty of built in umbrellas.

Would definitely go back again, but only if we got a good deal on A/I, as we felt it was more geared towards this.

Not being great lovers of the beach we did not go down there a great deal - a few evening walks along the front showed that in places there were good beaches with nice clean sand. But towards the northern end of the seafront every now and then there were areas of special flora and fauna which to be honest look like negleted scrub land with a fair amount of debris on them and no sand. then next to them were nice beaches and good entertainment.

On an evening it was quite lively actually mote than we thought it would be, with good crowds out and about enjoying themselves, but no problems just good family fun. Good range of bars and eating places.

Shops were mainly little tourist type places that would keep the kids happy but not really a major shopping centre for adults.

The resort has some very nice areas but like all resorts it has a few areas that could do with a bit of a tidy up.

Good bus links into Alcudia and as it is at the start of the route there are no problems getting on a bus.

We used it as a base for touring the island and it was really good for that with good road connections but i'm not sure it would be ideal for say a 2 week beach holiday.

We didn't go into the resort that much because our hotel was so good but what we do see on the few times we venture out was very nice and the beach was lovely.

The resort centre had a number of shops and restaurants. The main street was risky to cross over (especially with children) as the drivers didn't respect zebra crossing rules, normally adhered to in England.

We didn't go to the beach too often (stayed around holiday village pool) but what we did see while there was a lot of sea weed (and god knows what else!) washed up on the narrow sandy beach. Also, watch out for dog poo on the streets !!

A mix of English and Germans made up most of the population of holiday makers.

Walking along the Promanade in the evening while the sun goes down is a must. You can also sit at one of the many bars and people watch (takes all sorts !!)

Can Picafort was good for a relaxing family holiday with everything needed close by. Regular buses to Alcudia and the Can Picafort express were good ways to travel and sight see. Beach was clean with plenty of shops and bars close by. An excellent resort for familys.

At first glance there did not seem to be much to C'an Picafort, but after spending a fortnight there I returned totaly relaxed. There were enough bars and restraunts to keep us going, and there were no touts trying to drag you in which makes a refreshing change. Everything seems to close down quite early, but when you have children that isn't a problem.
Our children fell in love with a saloon bar called Charly's which is like something out of the wild west. We had some lovely meals and all reasonably priced. We went to Alcudia on the local bus for the day, and it was much more expensive than C'an Picafort.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and we were really sad to be coming home!

The resort was very clean and everything was in walking distance.
The nightlife was quite low key but it is plenty for a family holiday.
Standards on the beach was excellent very clean plenty of loungers and the sea is the clearest i have seen on the island.
Would visit the resort again but not in the near future but only because i like to see different places.
