We took family this time which was a disaster! They did nothing but complain! They said there was nothing for the kids to do!!!!!
The entertainment for the kids was excellent as always. The staff were brilliant. Very friendly, helpful and entertaining. A special mention to Claire and Chris.
It was so good that my daughter's just gone out there to work for Fiesta for 2 months as an entertainer. She's hoping to go back there again next year!
The complex wasn't kept as clean as it has been previously!
The pool is excellent, large and very clean, although the small pool was shut for 3 days for tile work. We felt this should've been done before the season started.
The only thing that lets the complex down is the lack of sunbeds and the Polynesian Bar is not big enough for the amount of guests. It could do with an extention. The bars on site are a bit expensive.
On the whole another excellent holiday. Can't wait to go again.
Thanks to all the staff for looking after us again.
See you next year xxxxxx (hopefully)

The room was basic put clean and ceiling fans are in the rooms that worked.
The pool was great but there seems to be a shortage of sunbeds.
The staff were very friendly and the reception is open 24 hours.
The beach was about a 5 minute walk away and very clean.
If you go self catering you have plenty of take aways and restaurants to go to.
We went to the Pirates adventure it is well recommended we had a great time. Also pay a visit to Marineland to see the parrots and dolphins and other animals, they have dolphin and parrot shows throughout the day.
Take a taxi or bus in to Palma well worth it.
Beware of the people trying to sell time shares on the streets.
We went in the end of May and the weather was very hot every day.
All in all an exellent family holiday, we are hoping to back next year.

The complex is large, with ten blocks situated around the pool area.Onsite 'pub',pool bar and main bar for evening entertainment. Also a washing machine you can pre-book at reception.
As a 'Super-Family' resort,it has activities going on all day, ranging from archery to killer beanbag!!!!!! There is a soft play room, plus a play park, and also the Kids Clubhouse.Kids club is a first come basis,so I would imagine that in high season you would not get into every session, but they try to make sure every child gets a go.
At 10.00am every day the tannoy starts up,announcing whats going on etc.Bit 'Butlins-like',but you got used to it.Night-time was for kids between 8-9,the quiz and bingo until 10pm when the adult show came on.All shows seemed suitable for children too, things like a hypnotist,fire-eaters 'Grease' etc.All in all,not bad.
We ate out most nights and can honestly say we did not get a bad meal.We tried EUROPE,ALCATRAZ and the chinese all-you-can-eat buffet, all right outside the hotel. All very good value for money.TOM BROWNS was nice, but no better than the others and 10E dearer for the same sort of stuff.
2 supermarkets(one a SPAR!!)across the road,plus one in Fiesta Jungla,behind TROPICO.
Apartments were basic, but clean, with large balconies.Pools was excellent.2 childrens and one adults.Loads of sun-beds,but even at this quiet time there were still the saddos who were up at the crack of dawn putting towels on the beds!!
My only quibble was that as a 'Super-family' resort I would have expected fridge/cupboard locks. As there were none,we spent 2 weeks chasing our 2yr-old out of everything!!!! Also thought the balcony railings could have been a bit more child-proof,as they were no different to normal ones so we swapped to a ground floor room after 1 day because I had visions of the kids going through the gaps. Not a problem with older children, but toddlers would need watching all the time.
All in all an excellent place, and we would definately go there again.
One tip,DO NOT BOOK TRIPS WITH THOMPSONS!!!!!!
They are WAY overpriced, and a rip-off.The INCA(leather) Market trip only gives you ONE hour in the market, the rest of the trip is taken up with factory visits!!!!! Same for Caves of Drach. They charge 30E,but it only cost 7.50E entrance fee and you get one hr in the caves, then get dragged of to a Pearl factory and a Ceramics shop for nearly 2 hrs!!
Any questions, feel free to contact me.
MICHELE.

In the rain we spent a lot of time in the amusment arcades with the kids if only to keep dry when the sun did shine it was no rush to find sunbeds there were plenty to go round but we think this was due to the resort getting ready for the winter break.
I realy cant say anything bad about magaluf infact we are going again this year 2004 so look for the nutters in the pool in the rain and we will give you a wave. The apartments were clean well maintained and the maids were only to happy to help. The desk at reception is good they sell the papers but at a marked up price go across to the spar its never to far.
Well thats it dont be put of by bad weather magalf and the tropica are a brilliant combination you will feel right at home when you stay here have a blast. Hope to see you there and we paid

There are loads of activities for kids of all ages! As I went there mid September the weather was just nice! The entertainment was fantastic as there were shows every night which included grease and also the hypnotist act which was pretty hilarious!
I really enjoyed my stay here! The representitives were absolutely superb and the entertainers were great too, they made the holiday really enjoyable "rowly poly schmoly" thats the guy! He's the best entertainer there! We love him!
the tannoy system was called over every morning at about 10am and it was annoying the first time but you got used to it. I have stayed at the Fiesta Jungla apartments, this was just like them but was a superfamily complex and much much more went on in it!
I strongly recommend these apartments especially if you've got young children. There is lots for 15 and 16 year olds too. There was archery darts and french bowls. More grown up activities!
The pool was large and it was fairly warm for September as it was heated. The cleanliness of this wasn't as good as I'd hoped as one of my "friends" caught an ear infection from it and ended up in hospital for 3 days as he was in agony but don't let this put you off. It is regularly cleaned as I saw it with my own two eyes! He just had a bit of bad luck!
this is a truly superb holiday!
The staff were very friendly and were quick with service. The rooms were clean and well looked after. The food in the Red Lion snack bar was of a high standard it was great!

There was always a problem with getting a space at the pool but my husband was always up early so we always got loungers. Would never stay here in July or August as we saw this hotel on holidays from hell.
The Jungla and the Sahara are full of 18-30s and the Tropico is slap bang in the middle however we would return out of season.
On our last day we were sitting around the pool when we heard shouting. Three men came running out of the apartments with a man running after them shouting robbers. With this every Brit man stood up and gave chase. Two of them were caught my husband got one around the neck, but the bar staff said to just let them go but all the men escorted them to reception and the police were called.
We noticed these men walk through the pool area about 20 mins beforehand and thought they were just staff. In 20 mins they broke into 7 rooms, they had cameras, phones, wallets, jewellery and all those that were robbed had not paid for the safe.
Everyone now thinks that this was an inside job as reception knows who has paid for the use of the safe. All I can say is that if you choose the Tropico with young children then do not go in July or August and you must pay for the safety deposit box or you may be robbed.

BEWARE OF THE POOL, unknown germs lurking.
we spent 1 day in the pool and the rest of the fortnight in local non-English speaking hospital.
Don't enter outside toilets as you are unlikely to survive the visit!!!
If you need to come home early, as we did, the reps are fab and will get you a good price.

Well where should I start? When we first got to the hotel we were reasonably quick to get our keys but we went to find our room and we had to drag our bags up the stairs as the lift wasn
