This was my first holiday abroad as a family so I was very nervous about the hotel - with absolutely no reason to be! I couldn't fault the hotel at all and would highly recommend it.

Location is just perfect, minutes from the beach. Also, very close to Palma Nova and Magaluf - about a 15 min walk to each one, but far enough away not to have any noise on a night. The room was lovely, with outstanding views, definitely worth paying extra for a sea view, maid in daily and always very apologetic if you were still in your room!

There's a children's play area next to the hotel which my 7 year old daughters played in every day and they were involved in the hotel's 'mini club' from 11.30am - 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 3.30pm which kept them occupied -if they won any games they were presented with a certificate and medal at night which is a great incentive for them to join in! I hardly saw them as they made loads of friends so were usually in the park with them - which meant we had peace and quiet most of the day!

Food was fab - breakfast so much choice - cereal, bread, fruit, full english - absolutely everything you could ask for. Evening meal again, loads of choice, and I don't think it was repetitive as some other reviews have said - apart from the puddings - which were absolutely gorgeous but mostly the same each night. There were a few themed nights while we were there when they had candles on your table and different tablecloths and a carvery a couple of nights. Would probably be worth going all inclusive as drinks by the pool bar were not particularly cheap.

Entertainment was great - mini disco, medals/certificates, bingo, then an act followed by disco again - as others have mentioned Dennis is a star and both adults and children love him! Some of the acts were a bit dire, but others were outstanding - only to be expected wherever you go I suppose.

The pool area is big, but I agree, for the size of the hotel it could be redesigned as it got quite busy and you were very close to each other when sunbathing. The mainenance men opened the sunbeds up at 8.00am, so if you wanted to reserve a specific spot you had to be down by 8.00am which isn't too early.

Only two minor things I'd change about this hotel:

1. different mattresses!!!! The beds are not the
most comfortable!

2. not allow radios/cd players around the pool
area. As everyone is quite close to each other a
particular group had a big ghetto blaster and
were playing music quite loudly which we found
annoying and inconsiderate.

All in all, a perfect family holiday - the hotel is particular suitable for families rather than couples or groups. I'd highly recommend this hotel and we'll definitely go back again next year! (Even my husband thought it was good and he's really difficult to please!)

We read good reports and bad reports good before booking bad after booking so we were a bit worried no need the hotel is in a fantastic setting next to the beach the view all I can say is wow.

The room when I say very large 4 beds and a sofa and still room to walk around.

The room was always very clean.

The food was good with theme nights the meat was always cooked well and most nights chef was carving large joints beef lamb pork etc.

Salads were also good all meals were hot and containers filled with fresh food so you did not mushed up food.

Good selection of cakes and yes as you might have read already custard to die for.

The only bad things was that kids cannot go to the bar I can understand why at night as they are glass and not plastic glasses but in the day round the pool my 14 year old who we paid a adults price was asked by bar staff to get a adult to get him all his drinks they wouldnt let kids get their icecreams or anything. This must only apply to all inclusive guests as we saw kids getting things from pool bar if paying.

The pool is a bit small but not a problem as so near sea

I recommend this hotel this hotel is a no hassle hotel and that is what you want to spend hard erned cash on hope you have a good time as we did can't wait to go again.

We go to this hotel 1-2 times a year the food is good. Entertaiment is ok and the alcohol is great. If we ask my children where they want to go they always say the Hawaii. Our children are age 6 and 12 and if the children are happy the adults are happy. We are going back in October and so is another family we met there last october I think it is a great hotel.

Stayed for 2 weeks in Hotel Hawaii Mallorca with my boyfriend and had a brilliant time!! We're both 23 and can honestly say it was one of the best hols we've ever been on!

Our room was on the first floor over looking the bay which was gorgeous!! and was cleaned thouroughly every day and new sheets put on about 5 times during our stay. The food was always hot, plenty to choose from including salads, meats, a potato dish and an excellent range of puddings!!

The location was perfect for us, we had a few mad nights out and a few quiet nights in as the hotel is situated on the edge of Magaluff there's no noise and night and I was able to walk down to the clubs in heels!!

Hotel drinks were great and as we were all inclusive all free!! The entertainment is a little bit dodgy but hilaroius as all the mammies and daddies get full and dance along with the kids, pure excellence hahaha

Would certainly go back again especially at this time of the year, there's not too m any children, the weathers great and no queues at the bar!!

P.S. Bar staff are not crabit at all they're brilliant if you give them a bit of your time!!

Arrived on 12th June, hotel staff quite helpful, only a few problems firstly going all inclusive we had to go to the bar 1 at a time for drinks i.e. 1 adult 1 drink, the beer was always flat not very good, the food was quite boring if you like fish and pork you will love it.

The weather was very poor the week we went but that was out of our hands, the hotel room was over ridden with ants every day all in all we had a poor holiday.

Just returned from a week all inclusive at Hotel Hawaii. I chose it carefully after reading all the reviews on this forum and others. We've been to several all inclusive hotels in Benidorm and the Canaries, with just one being a terrible choice (learnt my lesson there).

I think there are good and bad points with this hotel - it will suit some people more than others. Major plus point is the location, no roads to cross and just a couple of minutes to the beach.

Our room was basic but adequate and cleaned every day, fresh towels every day. We were on the first floor at the far end and had a lovely sea view. Someone else mentioned the beds being uncomfortable - an understatement!

I felt the food was not up to standard and the choice quite limited. As I said we've stayed at 3 star hotels in Benidorm, the last one just a few weeks ago. Similar sized hotels but the food service area at the Hawaii was about a third of the size of the Benidorm hotel. No evidence of any theme nights, no show cooking, no candles on tables. Restaurant however was very pleasant and no problems finding a table.

Entertainment was another let down. There were a few activities during the day but evenings were pretty dire. There were lots of elderly Spanish guests so I think the music and dancing was aimed more at them. One night there was a dance/acrobat act which was quite good. Another night a mime/comedy act which was not so good. Karaoke one night, a quiz another night and two nights had a keyboard/singer.

All in all we had a good time, mainly due to the weather and the hotel location. The reason I wouldn't go back is because of the food and the lack of entertainment.

The hotel was very nice and clean,always seemed to be a maid in the reception area.

Pool area very clean and tidy too,no cig's on floor,nothing in the pool from the night before. Could get a lift down to pool area,there were stairs but there are a few and can be quite slippy,3 of my party slipped on them a number of times,so we avoided this.

The toilets by the pool area seemed to be forgotten about though! Smelt quite bad,floor constantly wet and a few times I found there wasn't toilet paper!

We found getting sunbeds by the pool no problem,and we never got down there before 10:30!and finding at least 5 sunbeds close together is hard enough,let alone at 10:30!


The location is great,close enough to town centre,but far enough out not to be disturbed by the town centre.

Hotel staff were good,in particullar a women who worked on reception,was always really nice and polite. There is a man who worked on there quite an old-ish guy,you couldn't so much as cough without him asking you to be quiet.

Entertainment was ok,the mini disco was good for kids,just feel sorry for the young girl Angela,same 6 songs every single night! Still kids enjoyed it! Dennis is good too,is lovely to everybody great with kids and adults!

Shows on every night,but I felt they mainly catered for the elderly Spanish people,but didnt matter too much,because it was nice just to sit and talk in the bar.

The food was nice too,full English every morning,along with yohurt,cereal,fruit,toast,buns. Dinner mainly consisted of salad,fish chip pasta and veal,same at tea time too,would have been better if there was more than just fish though. uddings were nice,again,bit to 'samey' but delicious all the same!

I would definately recommend this hotel and Ii have already booked again for October this year.

Just got back from the hotel Hawaii 3 days ago.

This was our second visit as we went the same time last year . This time we took our family with us, including our 2 year old grandson.

We had a lovely time everything was fine. The hotel was very clean and rooms were large and cleaned every day. There was a good selection of food to choose from to suit everyone in fact I think the food has got even better this year. We had steak twice and there was salmon, and everything. There were Mexican nights, Chinese nights Italian and lovely salads. Candles lit on your table these nights .

You could have bottles of wine with your meal, jugs of sangria, anything you wanted. We were all inclusive and it was excellent value for your money.

Most of the staff were good and we could not walk past reception without the kind man giving our grandson sweets everytime. They love children and have a lot of time for them. Also dennis the entertainment chap was lovely and worked very hard all day. He liked a game of table tennis with my son randy andy as he nicknamed him.

We were presented with a bottle of champange on arrival for visiting the hotel the year before. We also won two more bottles and one day we went back to our room and there was a gift of a lovely travel clock in wooden case on our bed for booking over the internet with Med hotels.

All our family had a good time and we will be going back there next year I hope.

All in all a lovely hotel - thank you for a lovely holiday!

The location of the hotel was perfect for a family beach holiday. You just went down in the lift to the pool, walked past the pool and you were on the beach, no roads to cross. The beach was wonderful for our 2 grandchildren aged 1 and 3.

Tha AI was very good, the meals had loads of choices each day. The drinks were readily available from the bars, I didn't see any 'snacks' during the day as advertised but I can honestly say that we didn't need anything inbetween meals.

The hotel was clean in all areas and our rooms cleaned daily.

We had rooms 649 and 650 which were ajoining with a folding partion betweent them which was great for our family. They were double the sizes of 'normal' hotel rooms with huge balconies overlooking the bay.

As this was a 'childrens' holiday I thought that the mini disco could have been a little earlier and for a bit longer (usually about 4 dances) but I suppose it was enough for those without children.

I will definately be booking again for next year as I think this is a perfect family hotel.
