This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we were a bit disappointed because it seemed to be not as good as the last time, the food was lacking choice and we ended up eating out most of the time.

The sea views are spectacular and are worth the extra. The location is just about right because its just a stone throw from either Magaluf or Palma nova.

Arrived at the Hotel Hawaii on the 21st june 2005
can't say a bad thing about it, our rooms overlooking the sea were great. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily.

The food smashing and the location tremendous
the staff friendly and the the entertainment good
and to top all of that the weather was brilliant
certainly would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Just one small point the hotel is on a bit of an incline so may not be suitable if you have walking problems I would certainly go again.

This is the second time we have been to this hotel, and we are going again in 2006. What a great hotel.

The staff are great especially Dennis. It is all you want for a great holiday, can't put it in to words. Please try it, the kids will love it mine did, I hardly ever saw them, they always meet new friends and so do we.

Everything is just so perfect. Have a go may see you there..

We thought that this hotel had 5* veiws and an excellent location.

Food was good but lacking choice.

In terms of safety, For young children it's a little worrying around stair cases and near steps leading to the sea from the hotel grounds.

We travelled on a DIY package - flights with excel airways and room booked via medhotels.com - absolutely no probs and quite cheaper.Booking via medhotels.com well cheaper than booking with hotel direct.

Hotel exactly as advertised - 3 star and no problems with that rating. possibly some of the restaurant staff could have tried harder - but that was a small point. Room spotless and the wife loved the smell of bleach when we entered after the cleaner. No TV in the room tho' advertised as such - did not miss it!!

Food always well coooked tho' not as much variety as we have experienced at similar hotels. If going all-inclusive entitled to free plain crisps and slush for kids - tho' got the impression that they were tightly monitoring the situation to see if it was cost effective!

Entertainment very good except for "Mr & Mrs" and "Battle of the sexes" nights - leave it to the professionals! Day time activity teams always seemed busy even though we didn't get involved. both pools cleaned regularly and no problem at poolside bar.

We just got back from this hotel and it was such a great holiday. The view from our room (639) was superb and it was of the pool and the sea. The staff were mainly friendly although on arrival at the hotel at 4am we did the find the receptionist to be a little clueless and unaware of what he was doing.

We stayed on the all inclusve basis, meals were good but repetative and the breakfast was pretty limited but there was something for eveybody and you would never go hungry.

At the pool bar, you were entitled to all soft drinks and local alcohol as well as crisps, ice lollies and icecreams. The bar staff however were a little rude to those on all inclusive and they were always served after a paying customer even if they were there first, obviously the paying customers left tips from their change so they favoured them more. This did not happen all the time and some of the staff were friendly and chatted to you.

The weather was amazing, as we expected in August going into the 30's.

There was an obvious lack of sunbeds and you are forced to get up at 7am to reserve them. The hotel however took on board complaints of empty sun beds with towels on them and removed them, much to the annoyance of the guests who had got up especially to get them. This only happened once however.

The maid cleaning our rooms was exceptional, always smiled and spoked to you and was polite and efficient, she gets a bog thumbs up!

The hotel is very much centralled around englsih people and is righ next to a strip of english bars and cafes playing english films and all the football games, you feel right at home but in the sunshine.

Finally the entertainment, this was what really meade the holiday a good one. The evening entertainment was sometimes a little boring but there was a variety and there is plenty of places near by that you can go if you wish. The daytime programme was superb and the team were great, especially Jenny, Dennis, Nathalie and Mariella. The activities were fun and they gave out medals to winners in the evenings, there is something for everyone with canoeing, archery, darts, french bowls, shooting, water polo and loads more. Also there are clubs for teens and for young children.

We really enjoyed it, the people there (guests) were lovely. Get involved in the activities and you'll have a great time, it's also a good way to meet people.

I give it 10/10 and would go back there again!

Having been to the Hotel Hawaii back in 1999, I thought that it may have changed, but how wrong I was! It has just got better, last time I was there the sunbed area took up the whole area around the swimming pools, but now with the bar area you can always sit in the shade if it got too hot!!!

I went with my hubby and two kids and my parents, and there was something for everyone...This hotel is very family orientated and the staff were always friendly, the food was just as good as last time...My kids enjoyed every evening meal. If only I had known that you can go all inclusive!!! Maybe I

An excellent hotel for the price, well worth three stars. The hotel was significantly aimed at British tourists although there were both French and Germans staying in the hotel.

Food was fairly unadventurous but still very edible and plenty of it.

It has an ideal position at one end of the bay, although the hotel is on an incline if you approach it from the front, however I think that this particular "problem" is overstated on many other reviews I have read.

The only real drawback was that the pool is far too small for the size of hotel, and the usual "sunbed game" was played to a fine art...who said that this was a German problem

I booked some flights with Easyjet online direct from
Newcastle for 4 nights and the hotel through a local company JLM Travel who booked the hotel with medhotels.com. They provided an excellent friendly service and the girl recommended I stay here as she had been there last year. I am really pleased I did as the hotel was superb. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy and the rooms were tended to daily.

The food was really nice and different each night. The hotel was really central yet far enough from the nightlife to allow for a good night sleep if you wanted one! The staff were very friendly in the restaurant and reception, although there was one clerk in the reception who was quite rude late into his shift. The entertainment was very good and enjoyable. I will certainly return and thank the girl from JLM Travel for pointing it out to me.

Enjoyed a great holiday here. Good location with fantastic views. Food was fab some days then just ok the rest. Saying that, we decided to eat out a couple of times just for a change and the children said they prefered the food at the hotel! Would probably go back.
