Me and my family have been to Binimar for the past 8 years..the hotel maids are excellent and clean the rooms nearly every day thoroughly..when we arrived we had upper floor rooms.

I went to reception and they changed them for lower poolside rooms without any problems..the entertainment was first class and the reps did a brilliant job.

We stayed round the middle pool where the stage is, but the noise didnt bother us..it was great.

Stayed at the binimar for the last 5 years because the overall standard is excellent. Childrens entertainers are brilliant and the children fell in love with them all.The location is ideal and just a short 5 minute stroll to the centre. The food on site is good but we choose to eat in town mostly. Why risk spending all that money on somewhere different to go on holiday every year when we know what we are getting here is just what we want from our holiday.

Our apartment was first floor overlooking the Bridge Pool, (not too impressed as we had a buggy and 18 mth old we had requested a grnd floor in April when we booked but they were oversubscribed)If you want a sun lounger best you get up at 6am, seriously we were up early with the kids but by 7.30am all the loungers were gone, especially the ones by the parasols. Apartment was very basic, it is clearly a 2 star rated hotel, towel changes were daily but cleaning very hit and miss. The bathroom was tiny, you had to stand in the bath to turn the taps on, the french doors were shabby and worn and the shutters didnt shut properly, the apartments are too small for a normal family (we took our three children, one is in a cot)and the steps drive you mad. On Site supermarket was fine, reasonably priced and fresh bread and cakes every day. Its open late too which is good. Evening entertainment usual stuff mini disco (my 8 yr old daughter loved it) then usual tacky happy clapping stuff; bingo, quizzes. We went and hired a car for 3 days, fabulous, managed to get out of Cala N Forcat and the hotel which in short resembles Margate on a bad day! If you want a better hotel the First Choice Sea Club Apartments (next to the Binnimar) is 4 star, much nicer. We spent most of our 2nd week there! Doubt we would return! Too used to a villa with own pool holiday, thought we would try a package for a change to suit the children. If we did do a package I would choose nothing less than 4 star.

just returned from the binimar two days ago and where it was a clean and friendly place we would not visit again , but only because we felt there were too many people squeezed into the apartments. although we travelled independantly the mytravel reps were very friendly always chatting to us.for the first time ever on holiday we had to ask for a room change as we were put above the show bar and unfortunatly it kept us awake for the first 2 nights until about 2.30am - not to late for some but we had two children who are early risers and really struggled. the reception staff were very understanding and arranged for us to move the next day to a quieter room. the apartments themselves are clean and reasonably sized with a patio or balcony we had patio on both occasions so cannot comment on the size of the upstairs apartments. two ring stove and adaquete preperation space for snacks etc. there is a supermarket on site but the asda down the road is well stocked and cheaper. we did not visit the on site la tasca restaruant while there but spoke to others who said the food was delicous. we spent a lot of time at the vista picas apartments just down the road where our friends were staying - its a smaller quieter place again with very friendly staff. we found that just about everyone in resort was very friendly and spoke very good english.the binimar apartments have 3 pools all of which were very busy we did not attempt the rugby scrum for the sunbeds on a morning instead prefering to go to the beach or the vista picas. the evening entertainment was good the acts circulate round the resort we watched a tom jones impersonator who was excellent and fake that who were also good. the entertainment in the binimar is near the middle pool i would say if you do choose to go here please keep a close eye on your children as a lot of them were left running about unsupervised and were fighting each other with pool cues some of these children looked about 5 years old which is really quite worrying.
but apart from this the apartments on the whole are good , in a central location, close to the bus stop ,with firendly staff and reps if you like lots of people around you will love it here if like us you are hoping for somewhere just a bit quieter try the vista picas or the roc oasis apartments which were both lovely.

This was our first holiday abroad with our children who were 11 and 8. We thouroughly enjoyed it,so much so that we came back on 17 August and by 19 August I had already booked to go back next year!
We thought it was well placed for the nightlife-we especially loved Frankies bar for the karaoke and Lorenzos for the big screens and lovely host and hostess!
We ate in the restaurant one night-it was ok-most of the time we ate in the town centre-the daisy was good value and also the chinese restaurants.
All in all we had an absolute ball-kids loved it-we have requested a middle pool apartment for next year in the hope we may be better placed to bag an elusive sunbed! That was the only downside to the holiday-we found that all the people who were on half board were up early for breakfast and so bagged all the sunbeds.
Having said that we were creeping back after one particularly late night-4.30am and someone had already put a towel on a sunbed!
i would recommend the binimar as ideal for families and we can't wait to go back next August.

Our apartment was by the third pool overlooking the tennis courts which was probably the most quiet of the three.

The rooms are small, no air con (which imo is a must having been there) although they are well kitted out with mircowave, fridge etc.

The down side was the cleaning, we found 'items' from previous guests in various parts of the apartment and the floor wasn't washed by the cleaners the two weeks we were there.

During our stay a kid was found at the bottom of the pool having fallen off an inflatable which are for sale in the expensive onsite shop but supposedly banned from the pool. Luckily someone got the kid out and a fireman on holiday was able to get him breathing. At this time there was no life guard at the pool (1500hrs). Although without notification the hotel tried to ban the wearing of t-shirts in the pool that morning saying it was an EU law (?) that didn't last long after the events in the afternoon!

There is a 'suncare' advisor who appears every afternoon with hints and tips and selling sun tan cream! it ain't cheap!

Overall having travelled to similiar holiday resorts with other companies I would not go back to stay at the Binimar; regardless of what deal was on offer.

One word of warning for parents - if you are not booked with MyTravel the kids have to wait until all the Mytravel guests kids are admitted to the Children's Club before your's will; or if you are with MyTravel and you are on a pay session (which there are plenty!!!!!) make sure and book or you are cast to one side!

Another thing - the Binimar also has Spanish and Dutch guests. But the British have the towel thing down to a fine art.

Just returned from binimar resort within last 48 hours and am already considering booking again for next year.
Rooms where basic but clean and tidy, location was excellent, hotel staff where very helpful and the entertainment was probably as good as ive seen on holiday over a number of years. Travelled with two young children whom i must say had a fantastic time with plenty to do in the evenings. Resort centre bars and restaurants had play areas where kids could have great fun while not too far away so that you cant see them.
Air conditioning would have been fantastic but there are too many positives for this one negative and look forward to returning next year.

We've been to Binnimar four times now, and for the knockers all I can say is, you only get what you pay for. For true vlue for money Binnimar is unbeatable, the effort put into the entertainments alone is a credit. Kids of all ages love it, and we will be booking again, we've even met people there from previous years so that says something. I agree with the comments about the shop though. The staff are ignorant, they think they have a captive audience. Well, if you go to the pool near the tennis courts, and turn right where the bus pick up point is, theres a big Spar across the road, more choice, great shop, lower prices & the owners really make you feel welcome. So I would say boycott the Binnimar shop, but everything slde is a real doozie :-)

Came here during October half term and we all had a great time. Weather was fantastic !!!!

Plenty of sunbeds around the three swimming pools - were able to go out in morning and come back and easily get sunbeds.

Mini disco was a little disappointing as the entertainers chatted a lot and only played about 3 songs each evening.

Kids clubs were great - though they ended for the season on Thursday lunchtime which we hadn't expected as it was half term.

Short walk to Aquapark and various restaurants - some had bouncy castles and trampolines which you could pay 2 Euros and stay for as long as you wanted !!

Was quiet in evening as entertainment was underground, though I think in high season this is not the case.

We had booked half board as it only cost an extra
