Probably wouldn't have liked it as much if we were elsewhere at the Binimar.
Rooms are basic but were more than adequate for us.
Maid service daily for linen and towels except Tuesday and Sunday.
Hired a fan and safe key for reasonable price from reception.
Pool area was clean and was impressed a life guard was there all day.
Sunbeds were 'reserved' early but you get that in most places, can't say we had a problem getting them.
Handy location for resort centre and small beach nearby.
Beach wasn't to our liking as it was small, rocky and sea was full of jelly fish. There is another larger beach in resort but we decided to stay by the pool as it was so handy to our rooms.
We didn't try the entertainment on offer but there was a good selection and others seemed to enjoy it.
Overall, a very good place to stay with young children.

We never ate at the hotel but the food looked nice.
The location was ideal, just a short walk into the town centre but far enough away so you had no noise.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
We didn't stay for the entertainment but everyone who did seemed to enjoy it.
The pool area was always clean although you have to be up early for the sunbeds.
The beach was dissapointing very small and shingley with lots of jelly fish in the sea.
Overall we had a great time and we would definatley go back. The Bininar and the resort are ideal for familys with small children.

The apartments were noisy, with on site entertainment from 10am until midnight, with the hotel entertainers using a loud speaker to get your attention. A suncare advisor also disturbed you daily telling you how to improve your tan which after the 3rd day became infuriating.
The hotel staff were unhelpful and in no way accomodating. The hotel is ideal if you have a family and like all your entertainment on tap, Butlins in the sun is the best way to describe it, no need to learn Spanish as everyone reverts to English even if you try. The rooms were unclean and the maid used the same mop and bucket (without changing the water between apartments) to clean the bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen. My partner and I ended up with a stomach bug, not necessarily due to the cleanliness, but when we bought bleach and cleaned the apartment ourselves, the cloths were black with dirt. Although the rooms are self-catering, the facilities really do not encourage self-catering and assume you will eat out every evening.

The apartment was sparse and basic but clean. We had a maid service everyday except for a Tuesday and Sunday. The maids didn't speak any english at all and i speak limited spanish, so i couldn't ask for any extra towels or loo roll!!
In the brochure it stated that half board customers could eat in the a la carte restaurant, once a week for free. The reception knew nothing about this, so we missed out! The food was a buffet, sometimes there were many options that a meal could be made out of, othertimes there was nothing that was appealing or no-two-things that would compliment each other. We ate out 5 nights from 14.
The location of the Binimar was great. About a 2 minute walk to the local entertainment, but still out of the way so that we were not affected by it.
I didn't see much of the reps, only twice in passing. We didn't have any need to contact the reception either. The entertainment staff were around all day, but only two of them Simon and 'GobbyDobby' actually smiled and said Hiya to our 4 year old. They were quite busy and didn't have time to have their picture taken with her or sign her mini-disco cd.
The entertainment was more than adequate, mini-disco, followed by a quiz and bingo.
I would go to the Binimar Apartments again but as a self-catering guest.

We were given a map to show us were we were staying, when we found our room there were 3 lovely salads in the fridge for us they were lovely.
The pools were great and our room was right beside the 1st pool room 217. The entertainment was one of the best and the entertainers wer great and really nice.
The food was lovely and loads of choices to choose from.

Pools were good although second week of holiday most of the sunbeds were being reserved and not used, despite notices requesting otherwise, only complaint about pools was amount of inflatables on them.
Resort shop was good value and cheaper than shops outside resort although not such agreat selection on shelves.entertainment staff were excellent especially Simon and Jamie, they got everbobdy joining in in the daytime activities.
On the whole we had an enjoyable stay at the Binimar, but air conditioning would have been a welcome bonus.

Our apartment was a disgrace :-
Rotting door frames out to miniature balcony.
Rusty fridge.
Damp patches on ceiling.
Kitchen doors hanging off.
Keycard that rarely worked.
Well over crowded pool areas (400 apartments: 3 pools).
We will never travel with Airtours again!
We will never stay at the Binimar again!
We will never book a package holiday again!

The holiday was cheap, and I suppose you get what you pay for! There is no air conditioning at all in the small and basic apartments, this was not a problem in May as it was cool in the evenings but it would be awful in the peak months. This would be made worse by the fact that there are no windows to open. Unfortunately there are patio style doors at the front and back of the apartments, which you would not want to leave open while you slept!
The rooms and furnishings are cheap and cheerful (no TV!) The bathroom layout is appalling. Very difficult to bath a small child (without getting in with them everytime!) Although our room wasnt too bad, other rooms were very damp and caused the occupants to have bad coughs for the whole of their holiday.
However, on the plus side the pools are big with lots of sunbeds. The onsite shop is cheaper than some of the supermarkets (especially for nappies). The La Tasca restaurant is very good and reasonably priced too.
A free playground on site keeps younger kids amused and it includes Little Tikes toys for the toddlers too.
The Kids Club (run by airtours, therefore a charge for Direct Holiday users) was a bit of a let down. Could have been because it was early season, but the reps didnt seem very organised at all.
Overall, we had a good holiday thanks to nice sunny weather but we would not go back to the Binimar.
