We arrived at nightfall which made finding the appartment a bit tricky. Listen carefully to the directions by the fantastic team at the front desk and ask passers-by who will all help as they've all been in the same boat! Pre-book fans if you can as the apppartments can get a bit warm.
The complex is visually very impressive. The wacky layout really lends to the charm and keeps the noise down, the pool areas are spacious and clean and there's no shortage of sunbeds even in high season. Even if there were, the bungalows have two more on the roof.
The onsite catering needs improvement and the shop is 3x the price of some of the supermarkets in Corralejo but the drink measures in the bar balance that out a bit. If you make an effort to order in Spanish you'll be respected for it and always get better service. The poolside service can be a bit hit and miss but again, speak Spanish if you can.
The Thomson reps team here were incredible. Roley Poly Schmoley, Super Sarah, Kool Kelli (the boss) and all the rest or the team are just great. AndThomson the dog gets everywhere. The team work very, very hard and will even spend time with you after hours or on their days off, whether you are buying or not....
As for visiting again, definitely. We encountered and heard of many people who either had extended or had tried to and found it booked out and met a couple of families from a all-in resorts down the road who came in to the Papagayo every night as it was more fun. Take it for what it is... a new, slightly upmarket Superfamily resort, get involved and you'll enjoy yourselves.

The hotel was very clean well kept.
The location was a nice walk to the town you seemed to get a welcomed breeze in the heat.
The staff were very helpful and the entertainment was very good.
Yes I will definitely be going back 2006 it's the best holiday we all have ever had all round

All I can say is GO!!!
We have just had the most fantastic holiday here as a family.
The rooms were spot on. some were 2 storey apartment blocks, ie an upstairs apartment and a down stairs one,
however ours was a bungalow.
the pools were nippy, but it didnt bother the kids and the main pool was very salty.
The location was about a 15 minute walk to the resort centre, 5 mins to the water park and 2 mins to the market, which some complained about but it was 1 euro 60-2 euros in a cab so very cheap.
ample parking for hire cars as well.
not much else around the complex although a number of units waiting to be occupied.
The entertainment was excellant, all very family friendly and in 2 weeks we never saw the same show twice.
The Thomson entertainers, rowly poly schmoley and super sarah were excellant and did activities all day by the pool and at night in the bar.
the Kids club was also very good, with 2 sessions daily(my eldest was in tots usually 10-12 in the morning) wnd she went most evenings 18.30-20.30. if you have your mobile phone, leave the number and you can go off site. silly stacey and loopy lou were my liitle one favourites.
The only minor gripe(and I dont like to complain) was the service in the bars could be a little sluggish with some times only one or 2 staff on by the pool and in the evenings in the main bar, which did lead to queues, but the trick is learn to speak spanish and order your drinks that way.. I got served very quickly where as those that didnt speak spanish waited longer.All in all though 11 out of 10.

The hotel was overall excellent and I would go back.
It was very clean and well laid out and geared to young children. Although we have 5 children - in their late teens (except for the 9 year old) - I think the emphasis on children didn't need to go on until 11 at night. A bit of time for adult dancing, for example, would have been good.
I only have a couple of minor criticisms and only in the hope that this is fed back to hotel management. - The reception desk could do with a fast track section for key drop off and retrieval. Frequently you were in a queue behind people booking in or out and this seemed to take ages.
Staff in the pool bar - although it might only have been one individual - were incredibly rude to my husband who waited very patiently for around 15 minutes to get served. He refused to go back and we took our own drink to the poolside when we wanted to have one, rather than face rude staff.

However we are probably going to go back next year with two of our other teenagers and a friend.

Excellent holiday - spacious apartment, twin beds and bed settee. Adequate kitchen with 2 electric rings, microwave, kettle and fridge with small ice box. Unfortunately no air conditioning or ceiling fans. Very spacious bathroom.
Small patio area outside each apartment with table and chairs - also metal airer for wet clothes- take a few pegs with you. Sun terrace on top of apartment with loungers.
Apartment cleaned regularly- very friendly maid who chatted in spanish to us and children. Towels and linen changed frequently.
The apartments are set in large and extremely well kept gardens.
There are 5 large swimming pools and loads of sunbeds.
There is adult evening entertainment every night at 9.30 pm. Dont miss the Reps show on a Thursday.
Best part of the holiday for the children was the Thomsons children's club. The reps were fantastic and the children loved the club and the drop in sessions 6 days a week. There were lots of activities during the day and a children's disco every evening at 8.30 pm..

We stayed at the Oasis Papagayo in May this year and it was a fantastic family holiday.
The staff and entertainment were great for our 2 year old the entertainment reps were so enthusiastic.
It was a ten minute walk into the main centre but to be honest we enjoyed the walk especially after a huge meal on a night time.
I would definitely go here again.

The hotel was part of the winter saver offer from Thompson, allocation on arrival meant we had no idea where we were going to stay. The hotel in all fairness had clean well thought out accommodation, the maid service was very good.
I'm afraid that is all I have to say on a positive note, the food was less than good, badly presented lacking choice and often cold.
Entertainment catered only for children and there was no adult lounge bar or entertainment that could offer respite from children that were unsupervised by there parents, who seemed intent in drinking as much alcohol as possible, and letting their children play dangerous and unsuitable games in the public areas. If that wasn

The hotel was well nice, infact we are going back there for Christmas!!!!!
The staff were really nice and Cisco if you are listening because you pushed me in the pool I'm going to get my own back at Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!
The pools are nice but cold the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and fun!!!!

My partner and I stayed at Oasis Papagayo on a self catering basis. The apartment was very spacious and clean, with plenty of utensils: microwave, toaster,etc. Can't comment on night time entertainment, because we prefered to go out to Correlajo town at night (car hire recommended!). We would definitely go again!

These apartments were well spacious and clean as was the complex in general.
Yes the pool bar staff were very rude would ignore you to talk to their mates but you dont have to use this facility. as the shop is close and well stocked.
All in all we had a good holiday our only disappointment was that there is very little to do in the way of sightseeing as the chap in the hire shop said Furteventura is 20 years behind Tenerife and it shows.
