Had a wicked time in Playa del Ingles, plenty of places to go at nighttime- and all open late! The restaurants were all lovely and soooo cheap, the pizzas were 5euros, which is just over 3 quid, and you'd pay 4 times that back here! Drinks weren;t as cheap as I imagined they'd be- everywhere you go you get the 'buy one get one free' deal- which isn't much of a deal, as one drink supposedly costs 6euros (but then take into account that your gettin 2 drinks- of very generous proportions!)
We liked the Kasbah centre the best, here you'll find Chinawhites - which is cool, as you get a stamp that allows you free entry to Cream afterwardsp; there was also a cool place called Cube, which plays good RnB music, Pachas, and Beckhams bar- which was actually really cool if you like a good old dance.
The Yumbo centre is the gay centre- which is good for shopping during the day, but was actually a bit disappointing at night- as I was expecting some really outrageous dragacts etc. but there were families walking around late at night- so don't worry about being 'offended' because there is nothing hardcore on display form what I saw.
The irish centre was cool- and there was a nice bar on the outside called 'Mulligans' which has a live band most nights, and you can sing along to the old irish classics if thats your sort of thing.
Gran Chapperel centre has a quite a few 'englishy places'- which were not my cup of tea at all- there's a place called 'Wembly's' - just dont take your children there because the language and content of the 'entertainment' (note inverted commas) is crude- and the bloke there, forget his name, Ball or something, says the same thing every night. Boring.
Our favourite place though was a tiny tiny place at Kasbah called 'Relax bar' near the middle of the centre- it plays rock and alternative music which is good for a break- as after 2 weeks of dancing away in Beckhams and Chinawhites, you do tire of hearing the same songs night after night. We loved the 'tout' bloke that worked for Relax bar- he calls himself 'Wolfman' and he is hysterical! He really looks after you- unlike all the other annoying people that shout at you every five minutes claiming to give you free jugs of cocktails (all fruit juice by the way!) .
We enjoyed ourselves in all the bars- you couldn't ask for more choice really, and we didn't even venture into half of them!
The PDI beach is alright, the prices for sunloungers was fair, and they do have a good selection of watersports- I was only a little disappointed because the sea is not the same as it is in the Meditteranean, and you cant see into it , but that was hardly a major downer or anything. Beware- the sand on the beach is extremely hot- and you have to either leave your flip flops by the water- or plan your route through the umbrellas and make a run for it! ouch.
Don't bother taking a packed lunch with you- as there are places along the beach (loads of italian places, plus a burger king!) for you to eat at, all at good prices. And one more thing- dont be put off by reports of savage street sellers- yes they were there but a stern look and a 'no thankyou' and they simply leave you alone- they really aren't that bad!
Myself and the other 12 I went away with all had a wicked time in Playa del Ingles- and would definately come back here again; the weather is amazing; the food and drink is reasonable, and with regards to nightlife- it''ll take you all night to decide where to go! Definately one for yoing people who like their nights out.

the resort i stayed in was very clean and was great for entertainment also for those with children. the beach was a let down as you could hardly move and finding a space was a nightmare it was constantly crowded. the beach itself was spotless and was very pretty to look at, it is great for those interested in water sports. i would definatley visit the resort again.

Playa del ingles is greast especially for young singles going away together. If you like quite peaceful and idyllic it isn't for you but if you like fun sun and home comforts it the place to be. I wasn't sure whether I would like it as a ll I had heard was the 18-30 stuff about organised pub crawls which aren' my thing - the rep trys her best to get you on these trips but just be firm. Its best to find your own way about and see where you want to go each night - I preferred the yumbo as it had great relaxed nightlifee then later on brilliant night clubs - Irish centre and kasbah are both really popular too though. The beadh is great and you can get mcdonalds and burger king down there too if you are a bit homesick!! The only thing i didn't like were the pr people trying to get you into there bars and restaurants they can be so annoying but again just be firm and don't give in to them - say you've already eaten or you are going home or something and they should give in. All in all a great holiday - oh and go and see the sis starz drag show in yumbo - buddies bar its great tell them that emma lynsey and clare sent you - its great for all ages!!!!

i love playa del ingles and have been 6 times. the entertainment is great for both families and party animals and after many family holidays here i plan to visit again next year with my friends. numerous clubs, shopping centres and family bars are scattered around the resort so theres something for everyone. also 2 fab aqua parks : aqua sur is the big one and ocean park is the smaller one both great but i prefer ocean park its less busy, cheaper and not far to walk inbetween each ride! highly rewcommended.

The resort is kept very clean and everthing is within walking distance from each other. It is fairly hilly and there are alot of steps to and from the beach.
The restaurants along the beach are good. The only bad one we found was the chinese buffet restaurant. The food was all dried up and very chewy, the rest were great.

The resort was ideal for my friend and I because we were both very young. The nightlife was excellent and there was something for everyone. The beach was beatiful. There were plenty of activities going on and many cafes and restaurants surrounding. The shopping centre was fantastic.
This resort is definately a good place to go especially if you are young. I would reccommend this resort and this hotel to anyone thinking about going.

resort was by far the best yet! with many different quarters inc. irish, english, faro(shopping and restaurants) kazbah(where you can find top night clubs such as cream, pacha and china whites) and the yumbo centre which was the best!! aka the gay quarter which we were wary of at first but the drag shows were so entertaining we couldnt get enough! taxis were ideal and cheap and the beach and bars were great! had no complaints with the resort other than the pushy bar workers on the streets but you get them everywhere! playa del ingles is a great place to visit for variety!!
