Plenty to do for children and those who need something to do during the day. One pool very noisy with piped music all day the other pool very quiet. The staff were very good as were the Animation Team - but do you really want this on holiday?

The bathroom only had a shower which made more room for getting changed, the balcony had a washing line attached to the wall a table with four chairs.
The food was first class with different main meals to choose from the kids loved it because they could have chips everynight if they wanted.
The Hotel is in the middle of all the shops which was wonderful just dont buy electrical items from opposite the hotel we got stitched up with an mp3 player which did work when we were there but not when we got back home but we will go back November and play up.
The staff were really friendly alot are English the entertainment team were fantastic really worked with the activity programme my two girls had a fantastic time and overall we had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be going back this year.

There was myself and my 2 year old son a few single friends and another friend with a 5 year old son.
The accommodation was great, spacious and recently refurbished with modern decor and fittings.
We had a pool view which was great. The food was lovely, but got a bit boaring as the same food was served every night almoast but saying that there was a variety to choose from.
The staff were friendly and the childrens entertainment was great my little boy absolutely loved it!
I would recommend all inclusive, we actually booked self catering but realised when we got there that children under 5 were free to go all inclusive and it was only

Yes, the rooms are old and a bit shabby, but they were functional and we were only there to shower and sleep. We did not see any cockroaches but did have ants which were dealt with by the hotel staff immediately.
The hotel facilities were excellent. There are two pool complexes. One that is quiet and suitable for families who don't want lots of entertainment and noise. The other is near the all inclusive bar/snack bar and has day time entertainment from the animation team for two hours in the morning and the afternoon. My husband and two children were busy all day everyday with different activities, but weren't pressurised into joining in. The animation team were excellent and worked very hard. As many of our friends (that we made on the holiday)were all inclusive, we decided to upgrade for the last four days. (We were there for 11 altogether).
The food was very good, always hot and we had the choice of the main restaurant or "the boulevard" which was really nice. It was reasonably priced at 22 euros per adult per day and 12 euros child per day age 6 and over. You do have to sign up for a minimum of 4 days though.
The evening entertainment was good with different things going on every night. It kept us entertained anyway. The First Choice reps were also great, always there to help and they had a kids club in the complex too, so no excuse for some peace and quiet from the kids. My son loved going to see Suzy in the kids club.
If you want to do serious shopping you need to go to the market in Teguise. Get the local bus,(not organised tour)from outside the hotel costs 2 euros and goes straight there, every Sunday morning.
The weather was superb and all in all we had a really great time.
We did speak to other people who had rooms in blocks 1 and 2, who weren't very happy as they said the rooms were awful. If the hotel rooms had a bit of TLC, the whole complex would be excellent. It was the only thing that let it down. Would recommend this complex but do ask for a room in block 3.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Everything was on the complex that you needed the kids were having a great time, endless entertainment for kids and adults.
I was self catering so I dont know what food tasted like but everyone we spoke to said they loved it. Drink prices were cheap also.
The staff were very friendly. As for building work going on I never saw one workman or work going on!! I stayed in block 2 which had lovely views over both pools.
The rooms were standard and basic but who goes on holiday to sit in there room!!!! The complex was very clean and we all enjoyed the holiday. what more do you need would definitely go back to this hotel again, although I thought Costa Teguise was too quiet for my liking and the kids liking.

The rooms are shabby, the bathroom windows are rotten, the cleaners can't clean into corners & leave grot piles to fester. The carpets are stained, dirty & pulled. The sofa was all ripped, the sink was cracked as was the bath. The grime around the refrigerator was all too in keeping with the strips of paint hanging off the walls. The first thing we did was to go to Netto next door & buy bleach & toilet cleaner cos the pug holes smell & to try to clean the room up a bit.
We can only speak for block 2, the cockroach problem is severe & eventually when the fumigator man comes, the following "come out to die" party leaves them to run amok across the rooms.
We feel sorry for the reps as the complaint queue was never ending.
The hotels solution is to play "room merry go round" which only frustrates you as it seemed if you went for 2 weeks you didn't get block 2.
Not a nice thing to happen when you've saved up all year to go.

Having three children, and having booked a two bedroom apartment, we were shocked to find the sleeping arrangements meant that one of our children was supposed to sleep on the couch in the lounge, which consisted of a concrete block with two very dirty thin cushions. You couldn't sit on it for five minutes, never mind sleep there !
My children (teenage daughter and son and 9 year old son) had to spend a very uncomfortable night sharing two beds.
The bed linen was old, stained and torn and the wonderful glugging noises coming from the plumbing (particularly when some one else in the block flushed the loo) conspired to keep us all awake all night anyway.
It was particularly nice to listen to someone being sick at 3.00 am. The walls are paper thin so you can hear what everyone else is up to.
We asked right away to be moved but were told we had to spend the night in that apartment. From the long line of other people complaining, we did not hold out any hope of getting better so asked First Choice to move us to another hotel which they eventually did but at much cost to me (over 1200 Euros).
Oh, and dont forget the building work which First Choice forgot to mention when we booked. When you are right next door to it as we were, it is noisy and dirty and i suspect one of the reasons for the wildlife/cockroach problem.
One night was more than enough in this dump. I would never go back. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here !
We could only stay there one night.

We were in block one were the building work was going on we never heard much noise at all.
There were some cockroaches. We had 2 in two weeks and we were on the ground floor we had no ants but the a team told me that the cockroaches were bad this year.
The food was good.
Pool cold but once your in its fine. Our maid was great she came in every day the room we had was an old one but it was clean, but the new ones a fab so if you hear block one you might get a new one.
We did have 3 black cats but when they were there no cockroaches but just leave the bathroom light on they don
