I am amazed as to how accurately the reviews here on this website reflect the truth about this hotel. Yes, it is possible for the same hotel to be loved or loathed. Perhaps I can sum this situation up. Before you book this hotel stop and think what sort of person you are, and what sort of hotel you are expecting for your money. If you shop at Debenhams then you would NOT want to go to this hotel. However, if you love Poundland then it MAY be worth considering and you could end up enjoying it. Decide where you would lie in between these 2 extreme examples as an initial guide.

In my opinion the hotel begins to make sense if you can book the accommodation and flight from UK for

This is the worst holiday we have ever taken and we urge anyone who is looking to go to the Ocean Club, Don't go there, save yourselves while you can. It is dirty and grimey everywhere, if you sit by the pool you will be infested with flies.

We spent 2 weeks in this hole and came back home for a bit of piece and quite because it was a fortnight of screaming idiots running havoc everywhere (not just the kids). No sleep at all because of the louts that resided their had no consideration for anyone but themselves screaming, shouting and fighting at all hours of the day and night, leaving their children to run riot while their getting lashed up in the bar.

The food is just about edible (cold but edible), seems to be the same meals every day. All inclusive is not all inclusive as you have to pay for your T.V in your room 1Euro an hour, kids trampoline. the sports facilities are a shambles (very run down).

Balcony door did not lock and very hard to open, no space to store cloths (lived out of the suitcases). Drinks are very watered down and poor. The beach is a quary and the surrounding area is a building site with cranes everywhere. All of this cost us over

Like most people who have left reviews I was dreading this holiday and wondered what sort of Christmas I was going to inflict on my family.

This is a 3 star hotel and that is exactly what you get.

We would agree that a lick of paint here and there and some electrical maintenance would be appreciated, any issues we had were dealt with within 20 minutes.

We found the hotel was kept very clean and lazy people not picking up their rubbish caused the only mess we saw, there are loads of bins so there is no excuse for this.

The food was good and varied; there was a microwave if it wasn't hot enough. We have never been all inclusive before so didn't know what to expect but fellow guests assured us it was better than a lot of places they had been!

The hotel staff were always busy, whether in the bar, restaurant or domestic staff they were always polite and helpful.

We all enjoyed the entertainment; our children were hooked on bingo by the end of our holiday and was all they wrote about in their 'news jotters' back at school!!!30-40-50-60- never to be forgotten!!!

The children

The hotel was cleaned every day.

The rooms were cleaned 5 out of 7 days inc. changing of towels. The rooms are basic but serve their purpose. I had no complaints.

The hotel food was excellent. Breakfast was the best I have ever had out of the UK, the rest of the food was always tasty with a good variety of choice - there was not one day where I could not find something I liked.

The hotel location is a little out of the way, but in a nice peaceful location.

If you did wish to go elsewhere there is a free coach several times a day from the hotel to Las America

Just returned yesterday from Ocean Club, after reading the reports on the internet, we were not looking forward to our holiday.

When we were going to our hotel from the airport we were taken through a resort that was being built, and we thought our hotel was going to be in the middle, but when we arrived at our hotel, luckily enough we were a mile or so away.

The food was very good with a good selection throughout the day. Dont know why some people have said they have been ill after drinking the beer, we were all fine and found it was nearly as good as home.

Entertainment was excellent from good staff, Van,Hayley and Matt, their singing was better than the x factor, maybe Simon Cowell should stay there!!

Kids club , our 6 year old daughter loved it and she is usually very shy.

The resort itself is quite tiny with no beach, but who needs a beach when you have got a pool, there are about 15 bars and restaurants and about the same amount of shops. The pool is deep with a tiny kiddies area, could do with a bit of upgrading.

The accomodation was a bit like Butlins, could also do with an upgrade. All in all we had a wonderful time at Ocean Club, do not need a lot of money.

Having read the reviews myself before travelling, I was beginning to wish I had booked another hotel. We arrived very early a.m.hotel was nowhere near as bad as some people made out in their reviews. Yes it could do with tidying up in places i.e. Repainting air con...but we were quite happy with it.

Kids loved it, entertainment was very good (adults and kids).pool was a little too deep even shallow end. Food was fine, good selection always hot and plenty of it. The hotel staffs were polite and always acknowledge guests.

The location of the hotel let it down a bit, not a lot to do nearby. Entertainment team thank you, it was great watching and joining in. At the end of the day we were happy with our holiday,

The worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure to stay in all our lives. I am positive that a
Refugee camp in Somalia would be better than this the food is inedible, the staff stroppy there is no hygiene at all the 4 bed apartment well I have a bigger rabbit hutch and it smells better. Entertainment was a total farce and a rip-off, 100 people paying 3-6 euros for bingo = a top prize of 100 euros all the money goes in the pot? No wonder the entertainment manager drives a nice car. Even the cock roaches looked ripped off but they had the same problem as everyone else they couldn't get out. Please do yourself a favour and blow the place up before some one gets seriously ill. A special thank you to all the staff at he hotel opposite for saving our health & sanity.

This is the 2nd year running we have visited this hotel, the staff are very polite and helpful at all times even though some guests have got no manners!!!.
The rooms could do with a lick of paint but were clean, we had clean towels 5 days out of the 7 and the room was cleaned twice.

The food was always varied and hot! Hence coming back half a stone heavier, could do with a new toaster though!!!!

Although I must admit the entertainment has went down in standard this year, the entertainment team were good but not varied enough unlike last year, bring back heather and Shaun.

I personally think your holiday is what you make it! And you only get what you pay for and if you want 5 stars you have to pay for it!!!

We met up with a lot of last years guests which were lovely to see; hopefully we will go back next year and see the same faces again.

Next the rooms were dirty and was only cleaned 4 times a week and sheets changed twice in the 2 weeks we were there,

NOW the night time down stairs oh my god it was very bad bingo where it was 30% price money then 70%for there pockets ,,all I can say is now please down go there not worth the money at all we all ended being bad for 4 days and so did many others there
