Location
Very clean rooms, and pools. It has the advantage that you can enjoy peace and quite (no 18-30's,-well away from here 2km!) as well as use all the facilities of the sister hotel the Ocean Palace next door which is great for family entertainment.
Situated in a very beautiful area of Tenerife, Costa Adeje, with all the facilities of Playa de Fanabe only a 10 min walk away. Lovely promenade, lots of restaurants and fun pubs and may I recommend a fantastic beach bar were you can enjoy the fantastic sunsets over a glass of sparkling wine!!! (in front of the Guyarmarina Hotel).
I would recommend this holiday to all families and couples looking for a fun and relaxing holiday!

The cleanliness of the hotel was ok.
Poolside was clean and the hotel rooms were cleaned everyday (ie Beds were made, towels were changed and floor was moped) There was also no sign of cockroaches.
The hotel food was excellent they had different choices of food to offer and waiter staff were brill.
We would prefer a courtesy bus into the heart Las Americas. But location over all was great.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed all the activities in the daytime/nightime (Great Laugh).
The entertainment was superb and there were all different kinds of entertainment shows to suit all ages.
I would recommend this hotel to any family and I would visit again. Excellent Hotel

If you are going self catering there are 2 very good super markets just down the road from the hotels about 5 mins walking with everything you need. The shop outside the main door is a bit pricey
The pools are very good and kept clean
The staff are very friendly
The reps in the kids club are very good my daughter loved going the club and still goes on about the stuff that they did

The cleaners came in everyday to clean.
The food was fantastic which a change of menu every evening.
Although in a quiter area of Playa de las Americas there was only a short walk to two shopping areas or a short taxi into the central part of Playa de las America. There was building work opposite the hotel but our front door to the apartment was on this side of the hotel and we experienced no noise whatsoever.
The entertainment good including Roy the entertainments manager. The other staff were helpful and friendly, the General Manager made an appearance around the hotel every day and always had a word with the holidaymakers.
There were plenty of sunbeds and the hotel also provided lilos for the children (or adults) to play with in the swimming pool. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

All rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and all have a pool view.
The cleanliness of the hotel was maintained throughout our stay and the pool and sunbathing area are cleaned at 8am every morning, by which time most of the sunloungers have been taken up - Dad's be prepared for an early morning stroll!
We highly recommend that footwear is worn around the pool area as it is very slippery.
We found the food to be of a high standard and highly recommend the thursday night BBQ which is held around the pool.
It may not be to everyones liking but we enjoyed being in a newly built part of Playa dela Americas as we have a young child and did'nt want to stay in a noisy area, although the centre of town is'nt too far away. The new Fanabe Beach area is only 10 minutes walk and Skypark (a brilliant aquapark for under 12's)is just around the corner.
The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful and the entertainments staff and kids club reps are brilliant - especially Hilary and Ang in "Tweetys creche".
On the whole we had a fabulous holiday and would highly reccommend this hotel to all families. We'll be going back again!

And we weren't disapointed. Would go back here again.
We had a great 2 weeks holiday.
There were 4 in our party, myself, hubby, daughter 15 and son 11.
Gaz and Sara were the reps, they met as at the airport and did a fantastic job right from the start. Shame for us that Gaz was moved to another hotel in our first week, Julie took over, she was nice too.
You have the swimming pools (sunbeds), poolside bar, tennis court come footie court, trampoline(coin slot) several pool tables, darts, table tennis, air hockey, a few small kiddy rides, a gym (pay as you use it or get a wk or 2 wk pass) hair salon and launderette. Internet computers in the hotel lobby (1 euro for 10 mins)
Re: slippery tiles around the pool area..Yes were slippery so we were very careful when walking around the pool area, but the tiles weren't as bad as I was expecting so luckily for us no accidents.
Also the walk down to the shops and restaurants wasn't as bad as I was expecting, we went down every night for food, and walked back.(lol and I don't like walking!!)
Found the food very good, and cheap, but drinks could knock up the price on your bill!
What really made this holiday, was the day time entertainment ie. poolside games.
We joined in (when we were there)and had a laugh! They do help you to get to know other holiday makers and make friends.
If you won you would get a drink (lovely to cool you down!)
Amanda and Stacey ran the poolside games and were great... thanks very much :)
Also around the pool every afternoon was the 'quiz' and 'bingo' (they are also held everynight too)
Roy (Entertainment manager) does like the sound of his own voice and does need to chill out abit! this said he does do a good job.
Stacey not only does the games in the daytime but also the disco etc in the evening, don't know where she gets all her energy from lol.
The hotel is lovely, rooms great, we had a jacuzzi bathroom! but no indoor table or chairs to eat at, so having our breakfast had to be done on the balcony! which was fine as the weather was hot.
The room had air conditioning. It had a tv (coin slot) we didn't use it though.
Maids good, made beds, & clean towels etc.
Didn't hear any noise when in our room ie. can't hear people running around or screaming etc
Lifts and stairs. Lots of coffee tables, settees and chairs on every floor. Also drink/chocolate/crisp machines.
The only thing that does let this hotel down is the evening entertainment. This was very hit and miss.
We saw some good acts and some crap!
We enjoyed the adult games the best ie. competitions, again these were a laugh and helped people to get to know each other.
The prizes.....ummmmm a bottle of champagne or wine (be warned. don't drink it!!!)
Didn't have a problem getting sunbeds each day(I went down between 9&10am)did have to take our own parasol down twice because of some greedy people wanting several to themselves!
We went on 3 trips; Lora Park, Aqua park and Medieval night, we enjoyed them all.
Different stall set out in the evening in the hotel lobby selling various things.
Everyone very friendly.
Highly recommend hotel.
Glad we choose this one.
Will be going back.

We went self catering but changed to half board half way through the holiday. The food served in the restaurant is quite good but they do tend to deep fry a lot of things.
The main problem with this hotel is the cleanlines. We had a problem with cockroaches in our room, and the site of dead cockroaches around the hotel was not an unfamiliar sight.
Our bath had more tide marks than Brighton Pier.
The room could have done with a good sweep/mop.
The tables in the club were dirty, as were the seats that were threadbare.
Drinks were expensive.
The light switch in the gents toilet near the pool was hanging off the wall.
Some of the steps leading to the pool were broken. The fountain feature in reception was broken.
The ladies toilet near the pool wasn't fastened to the floor.
It took two days of asking to get a bath plug and a sink plug.
Generally in my opinion this hotel needs a refurbishment.
The best thing about this holiday were the entertainment staff and kids club reps who really worked hard. Top marks Roy, Ange and Lucy.

Only thing was that we saw qite a few children slip by the pool so be cautious.
Rooms were lovely and big.

The hotel is very impressive on arrival( if you arrive after sunset ) lots of lights and 2 bronze lions at the entrance just ooze quality.
The room and appliances were very clean and modern. Everything we needed was there, microwave, hob, fridge etc. The televisision required money in a pay as you go type slot box but we didnt use it.
The location however is right on the outskirts of everthing ( literally ) and it cost us a fortune in taxi fares because for some bizarre reason the drivers like to rip you off and never take the same route twice ( 3 EUROS / 12 EUROS ). Nevertherless we had a great time away from the hotel.
We hoped that the entertainment would be good enough to keep us occupied around the hotel but contrary to other peoples comments roy and stacie are a pain.
They repeat the same entertainment every day, quiz, agadoo, bingo, superman, kiddies disco ( ymca, in the navy etc ).
Whilst we were there Roy lost his rag because some kiddie was making too much noise while he was calling out the bingo numbers and I quote ( the mini disco is now cancelled because of that horrible little thing in the purple swimming costume, so if you kids have a problem you know what happened ).Stacie is just as bad believe me.

On the plus side the staff and in particular the bar staff are very friendly and make the holiday enjoyable
