i would highly recommend this hotel for families.
the hotel was spotless and the staff i found were very helpful and friendly. my own children did not use the kids clubs as they made loads of friends in and around the pool but from what i saw they kept the kids entertained. would definately return to this hotel again.

On arrival our rooms were not ready, they were still cleaning them and so therefore our first impressions were most def not good, however we could never have been more wrong!
Having only spent one week here we could of quite happily stayed another.
Hotel clenliness was superb, mades cleaned it throughly each day.
The location was about a 10 min walk down a slight hill to the beach.The shop next door sold a wide variety of English products.
Hotel staff really friendly.
Entertainment is next door at Ocean Palace (sister hotel) which has a two week program.
Entertainment for the children at Nogal Beach was brilliant with the Dolphin and Crew clubs, the kids reps, Debbie and the other girl work really well togrther to ensure the kids are having a good time, my children still keep talking about the both of them and thanks to Debbie they still think they are called BOB!!!! thanks for that Debbie!

I have just returned from worst holiday ever.
Ocean palace is rated as 4 star i beleive it may have been about ten years ago but now it would be between
2@3 star. We were self catering and had sink and cooker plus fridge but no space to prepare any food.
Safe cost 30 euru tv about the same cost of holiday not enough they have to squeeze you for more. Cleanliness was good on surface beds made most days,
but balcony not cleaned for the 13 nights we stayed.
Location not great to far out car hire was best move although more expence.
Staff friendly.
Entertainment in a word butlins (without redcoats)plus very loud and very late.
Any one going half or full board beware of thursday
barbacue, food layed out at 6 oclock first diners came
at 7 oclock just enough time for fly to leave thier
mark and the prawns to bake.
re: Pool area, not near enough sunbeds and even less parasols some guests were leaving towels on beds at 3am after leaving bar then lying in bed all morning
and coming to pool after lunch,result empty beds all morning.
On night we were leaving i heard noise by pool it was 4am and two teanagers were getting passonate on sunbed below verl loud. that was just last straw.
We will never be back to Tenerife and never go on package holiday again.

Very enjoyable week at this hotel. Have stayed in many hotel's around the world and would rate this one in line with some 5*'s. Staff where very friendly, location great. Pool titles really need to be addressed, I was unfortunate and fell. Will be back

We stayed at the sister apartments next door called Nogal Beach.
We were encouraged to use Ocean Palace and we're glad we did. Nikki who worked on both reception areas was a joy with our 6 and 2 year old girls, and they loved seeing her every day. Nikki was also very helpful with local information. The Spanish girl at the reception bar also made my girls feel special when she made them free cocktail looking soft drinks.
I would recommend Nogal Beach as we always had sun beds and a large kids pool. The TV in the room was free as well. Try and phone before you travel and get the top (fourth) floor, as the rooms and balcony are alot larger than the lower floors.
As I said we used Ocean Palace all the time and found the food very good value. Try the Barbecue and Carvery nights, all you can eat!
We all thought the entertainment was great. Roy and Stacie were very nice to our kids. I liked Roy's humour, but it is acquired.
Both Hotels are very nice, but Nogal is cheaper with all the pros of Ocean Palace.

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY!!! we found this hotel very clean, and the staff very polite, It was one of the best holidays I have ever been on, the first choice kids reps were excellent and as for the entertainment team they were fab, never had any reps on holiday as good as these. The only downfall of this hotel is the slippery floor around the pool area - be very careful. The journey back from the beach is also a jaunt especially when you are walking back uphill in 33 degrees weather, which is the kind of weather we had

just back from a wonderful holiday in this hotel. everyone work really hard from amanda in the entertainment team to the cleaners. food was great to eat and the breakfasts are something else. yes the tiles are slippy but wear sandals and you should be ok. on a bit of a hill but well worth the hike.i would recommend this hotel to anyone

We actually stayed in apartments next door to the hotel called 'Nogal Beach' however we could use all the facilities of the hotel. The hotel was excellent, very clean and looks superb. The price of breakfast was very good , however the evening buffet a little expensive for a family but food was excellent, a very good variety.The location was ok but that walk back up from the beach wow .The staff on reception were a little off putting, but the bar staff were great fun.What can i say about the entertainment FANTASTIC. Roy and Stacey were excellent, funny, and really kept you entertained all night long.We really miss not being there but hope to see them all again very soon.Would recommend it to everyone.

I must say that this was my best holiday i have ever had! i loved staying at ocean palace and will return there again when i next return to tenerife.
The hotel was very clean and my first impression was speechless! this is the nicest hotel i have visited so far!
Its only a 15minute walk to the bars and resturants, also the beach which was great.plus there was a supermarket outside the hotel which was very usful, and also plenty of shops.
The staff where very friendly, and the bar staff i must say where gorgeous, i would love to see them again. The entertainment was brilliant, roy and stacie where very nice and friendly, and the live shows they put on each night where not to miss.
I would defenetly visit this hotel again! tht for sure! i loved every minute of it and would advise it to anyone looking for a great fun holiday!!

ocean palace building and room you could not fault welcome pack on arrival very good, pay tv expensive but stil usefull, pool area slippery but after reading these reviews got grandson jelly bean shoes and it was ok, sunloungers need replacing as a lot are cracked and more brollies needed, we only had breakfasts and it was excellent location not very good as it set back on asteep hill but taxis are always available from reception where all staff are polite entertainment comes on a bit late as the acts are working there way up the hill,all together it is not a bad hotel but it is not 4* more like 3*
