Lovely apartments - friendly & helpful staff a big bonus. I agree with previous comments about requesting a room with a pool view - I would have hated to have been in a room at the front - extremely noisy. Rooms were kept very clean. No air-conditioning and ceiling fans didn't do much to keep the rooms cool to be honest (however, take something like a "reward card" to keep the fan going while you are out of the apartment as it is controlled by the card attached to your room key). We all loved the pool although the tiles around it got extremely hot during the day & slippy!. Cleaners and maintenance staff enjoyed a "blether" at the start of their shifts each morning and lets just say they didn't exactly whisper!. All in all, a lovely hotel which we would be happy to return to if it wasn't in Los Cristianos. Enjoy!

The complex its self is very well looked after. A whole team of cleaners/groundsmen work every day to ensure it is looking its best. The rooms are very clean and the maids change the towels 5 times per week.

The complex is located a nice distance away from any noise. I would recommend taking a first floor room as i hear that ground floor rooms are particulary attractive to thieves. Also a balcony is far better than a terrace.

One issue was that the Bar sited on the complex was closed, all the time we were there due to "new managment". Although not too annoying, it would have been nice not to have to leave the complex for a beer during the day.

Overall i really enjoyed my holiday,the hotel was clean, the staff where nice and most of the people in the hotel were english cos lets face it who wants to be surrounded my foriengers when your on holiday :-P. 10 minute walk from beach, shops and resteraunts, try to get a pool side view not at the front because its much nicer, bring some sort of credit card that isnt important to keep the power running when your out so the fans can stay on. I would deffinatly visit again, plus i met this fit girl and thats always a plus :-P

A very clean and well maintained apartment complex. The pool area has recently been renovated and the three pools are kept immaculately. The duplex apartments are very spacious and situated on the 2nd floor with two balconies and 2 bathrooms which is perfect if you are travelling with children, however there are quite a few steps to the apartment and no lifts. The location is ideal for walking into Los Cristianos (about 10 mins)and also has some very good nearby restaurants. All in all a fantastic holiday and I would recommend this complex to anyone in fact I am going back next year.

Apart from having our room robbed and the fact that the rep and hotel staf didn't care we had an ok holiday.

Tenerife is busy, Los Cristianos has busy roads, this property like most others is on one -beware the zebra crossings. Get an apartment poolside not next the road, apartments are fine,reasonably equipt. Pool good,safe. There are plenty of friendly bars and restaurants,staff good. I liked it and will go back.we found it a cheap holiday. 10 min walk to the beach.

Hello to all @ HT and viewers

We where situated on the second floor of the Christian Sur which I did ask for, did not want to be on the bottom floor as from previous experiences from being underneath noisy people. Signed in at the reception ordered a safe straight away and off we went to find our Apartment which turned out to be above the Spanish bar @ the end of the 1 way Road

My first impression was that it would be very noisy but it turned out OK once I had my ear plugs in Next door to us was a Spanish Family which they owned the Apartment but we never heard them in all the Two weeks.

The maids changed the Towels everyday and I think the bedding was changed every second day if I remember rightly. I think the Christian Sur is well situated it's not too loud and we like to walk so going down to the Beach took us 10 minutes @ a leisurley pace. Second day I had to go to the reception and hire a Fan as the rooms seem to get very hot at night time too hot for me no air con.

At the main entrance there are a cpl of supermarkets we shopped here and found them to be very reasonable for our needs. Also there is a Internet cafe (Daughter liked to keep intouch with friends back home lol)

I had some good feedback off HT forum on where to dine out and we could not fault any 1 of them the food excellent and staff very pleasant.

I changed my Cheques with Gaynor she is very helpful and also we organised our trips through her we did not see the Direct Holiday REP untill the night before we left because we find if we go to the meetings on the Monday we lose half a day anyway we had nothing to complain about.

We like to go where it is pretty much quiet and I think the Christian Sur Apartments suited us fine. All in all we had a excellent time and the Apartments where spotless apart from the odd idiot who decided to throw their empty bottles of beer into the flowers.

We would definately go back to the Cristian Sur

The apartments are set in a quiet location in Los Cristianos, about 750 meters from the main shops and bars. The apartments and complex is spotless, Maids clean apartments 5 times a week.Reception staff,cleaners,shop and bar staff are all polite and friendly.However this is what the brochures do not say!!. The Cristian Sur Apartments is a residential complex slowly filling with Spanish families,So if you do not mind living next door to a Spanish family who do not know how to talk quietly and have their television on full blast from the moment they get in stay here .Also if you have a fear of steps do not stay here as we had a 3rd floor 2 bedroom apartment (this is where all 2 bedroom apartments are) to get to our apartment we had 47 steep steps, which if are damp are a death trap.The 1 bedroom apartments are on the 1st and 2nd floor but you will still encounter some steps as the complex has steps up and down all over the place.All i can describe these steps are like the steps to the dormitory's in the Harry Potter films.Tenerife is supposed to be a duty free island beware i went to buy a new camcorder hoping to save myself a few quid. Just before going to Tenerife i brought a camcorder magazine so i could pick the model i wanted. Luckily i took this magazine with me as most of the duty free shops were charging

It was not the first time we had stayed at this complex, after our first time there we said that we would definatley go back which we have several times and we are due to return yet again in October 2004 and can't wait

my partner and i stayed there last year for 2 weeks. We had been in tenerife the year before and we used to walk past the tenerife sur on our way to the beach, so we knew what to expect. Like everyone else has suggested i would ask for a pool side room. The rooms were tidy and everything you needed was there. When we arrived we had a problem with the safety deposit box and when we asked for assistance they gladly helped, especially as it was well after midnight. The only problem that we had was the sunbeds.if you were not up by 8ish then you had no chance of getting a bed. The funny thing was that they didnt get unlocked till 9am. othere than that we had an enjoyable holiday and would reccomend it to any of our friends and family
