Entertainments quite sad really, althogh he team did do a reasonalby fgood job (for amateurs) at Mama Mia, (although they are NOT supposed to be amateurs are they?).
All in all, the weather was quite good which saved what would have otherwise been a thoroughly miserable week.

Rooms comfortable, carepets maybe needed replacing in corridors but then you dont spend all your holiday in hotel corridors.
Plenty of sunbeds round the pool, usual rush in the morning but cleaners do not finish cleaning till about 8.45 - 9am so you are not allowed to go to sunbeds until they give the ok!
Food in restaurant good, plenty of choice, in the morning if you asked they would make omlettes for you. We tended to go down to dinner about 7-8pm didnt seem to have much of a queue then for the grill food that was being cooked. But then the hotel was full and busy due to high season.
Drinks at bar were rather pricey, so I would defo consider going all Incl if i was to visit again. 90% of people stopping were all incl.
Bedrooms were cleaned to a good standard.
We had a room overlooking the main rd at the back of the hotel and it also looked over the mountains, didnt hear noise from the rd as it was far enough away not to, people who had rooms overlooking the pool seemed to have larger balconys. With spending most of our days round the pool it was nice to not have a pool view to be honest.
Couldnt fault hotel location was central and close to everything you needed. Entertainment, fantastic animation team who worked hard day and night to keep guests happy, they didnt pester you to join in things if you wanted to you went up to them, always polite and had time to talk to you.
Would definitely visit this hotel again.

Hotel and room very clean. All Inclusive option allowed yourself and the children to pull your own pint and/or soft drinks and ice creams ( a great timwe saver eliminating queues both at the bar and in the dining room). Cocktails etc were served by the staff and all drinks were of good quality.
The staff (bar and reception) were the most friendly and efficient I have come across - nothing too much trouble.
Meals were of good quality with a good variation.
Entertainment was ok for adults but more geared to the children which was fine for our party.
Pools were clean. There was the usual sunbed rush at 9am but we always managed to get a sunbed whatever time we went to the pool.
Only two gripes:
(1) Beware the snake show - the guy took an hour to display 3 snakes (I was bored to tears) then charged 10 euros to have a photo with the snake. After queing for 30 mins with the child he informed us you could not buy 1 photo but had to purchase 2, for 20 euros. It's a complete rip off! I'm suprised the hotel has not put a stop to this shady practice.
(2) It's a pity that the hotel policy does not allow inflatables or balls in the swimming pool - the kids could have had so much more fun had they been allowed to use them! It is not company policy as the sister hotel across the road allows them to be used.
However, apart from these 2 gripes we had a great time and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels eack day.Air con was very noisy and not much good when it was on. Hired the room safe which was 12 euros for the week.
The hotel had mostly Spanish guests the week we were there and the food seemed to reflect this. However the food was always hot and plenyful with lots of choice. The drinks in the hotel are rather expensive 4.70Euros for a pint of beer, small diet coke 2 Euros.
Will be returning to this resort in January but will be staying at sister hotel Bouganvilla Playa. However we would stay at the Las Dalias again.

There's a nice shopping centre straight across the road that sells camera's and perfumes etc, they also sell little nick knacks for presents, the supermarket was very cheap 43 cents for 1 litre of water, but if you all inclusive you can get bottles of water from the bar, your not really supposed to take food or drinks back to your room but people did.
There was lots of Germans there and Spanish not many British at all and the ones that were didn't speak to anyone.
FOOD - the food seemed to be geared more towards the Germans, there was lots of choice, breakfast - 7-10.30 am
bacon, sausages, beans, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes with lots of different sauces to add to them like chocolate spread or raspberry syrup, cheese and ham omlettes, cereals, different breads and pastries, fruit and yogurts. But don't expect English bacon and sausages though because that they aren't !! The only thing that tastes English are the beans and eggs.
Continental breakfast, 10 am - 12pm.
different pastries, toast, cheese and ham sandwiches (this was always the same every day, quite disappointing really ).
Dinner and tea, these were fairly similar meals lots of different salad stuff, pasta, rice, paella, lots of different types of fish, but be careful every bite my daughter had was full of bones so do take care !
There was potatoes, chips, potato croquettes, spag bol, pizza, different meat every night but it is rare! They put it on the grill turn it over and its onto your plate so if you like it incinerated like I do don't bother getting any !! The chicken was fine though as its only thin so cooks quickly.
There was 4 different types of ice-cream everynight and about 4 different types of cakes. Food is available from 7 am until 12.30 am, so you will never go hungry.
They are bringing fresh food out all the time, I saw them taking half full trays of food off and replacing it with fresh food. Depending on when you go tho sometimes its cold. The restaurant staff were great, as soon as the tables were empty it was set for the next family.
POOL - the pool is quite big but not as big as the pictures show, its nice and clean, there is around 300 sunbeds which you can use from 9 am but by 9.30 am they're all gone.
Not many people actually sat on them just towels left on them till later on. I did see the hotel staff going round taking towels off the sunbeds that weren't been used but only saw them do that once.
Bar - the soft drinks, beer and wine are all self-service but the spirits you have to get from the bar, some drinks do have supplements, for instance if you wanted baileys you had to pay 1.90 for it, which is half price but you can ask for a all inclusive like baileys and get the same thing for free !!
Sometimes you have to wait a while at the bar, they tend to serve the paying guests first sometimes.
Entertainment -there was 3 bars, but the main entertainment was at the outside stage, this was very good most nights, we saw Bejing acrobats which were great, juggling tables and chairs on the feet. Amazing, snake show, parrot show, eagle show, knife thrower.
We did go out a couple of nights tho when the dancers were on. Theres some great karaoke bars down the road that are all English people!! And make you feel welcome. They talk mostly Spanish in the hotel so we was sat there most of the night not knowing what the hell they were talking about, most of the music they played in between the entertainment was Spanish too. Even the kids mini-disco was all Spanish songs.
We saw a few cockroaches on our corridoor, we were on the third floor but as the hotel was on a hill it was ground floor in some parts so the cockroaches got in, we didn't have any in our room tho so that was good, I emailed and requested a third floor room and thats what we got , the balcony was huge !! We had a table and chairs and 2 sunbeds ! You could actually fit 3 sunbeds lengthways as it was so big !!
Over all we had a good holiday but wouldn't go all inclusive again, it's not for us. We would definitely go to Las Americas again though. But just go self catering, we missed going around on a night finding somewhere to eat and for the best entertainment.
We don't like being tied to one place and were also used to a seperate room and bedroom, here you just get one room with 3 beds in so not much room to move around in. They could really of made the balconys smaller and the rooms bigger.

The hotel is in a good location, far enough away from the all night nightclubs, but just a short and pleasant walk from the beaches and the marina area.
Shops and bars all around, but the bus stop is right outside, or a 20 minute walk along the coastal path has you into the Parque Santiago and Safari shopping areas, which are a must for shoppers.
The rooms were apacious and comfortable, and were cleaned thoroughly every day. No tea making facilities in the room, which was the only "negative"
We were half board for the 2 weeks, and the food in the hotel was excellent. Lots of choices, although it did get a little repetitive after a few days.
We ate out a few times at some of the many excellent eating places in the resort, all very reasonably priced.
When we go back, we will probabaly go bed and breakfast or self catering, as there really are lots of choices around regarding eating out.
The staff were attentive and very well mannered.
In summary, I would go back to the Las Dalias, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going.

Soft drinks and alcoholic drinks easily available, good measures,if you want a bottle of cava its yours!
Food abundant with reasonable choice although can be a bit repetitive. Staff very helpful and friendly nothing is a problem.
Rooms are reasonable size but could do with refurbishmentas do stairwells i.e carpets need replaced.
Overall great hotel in good location near shops and not to far to walk to beach, also in walking distance to watershoot park.
Entertainment was OK had some good professional shows, entertainments team deserve a pat on the back as they work from morning to night and do a great job.
