We got a late deal, one week, half board, allocated on arrival for a great price, but i wasnt expecting anything too great. When we were told at Tenerife airport we were going to Tenerife Sol we decided to get our own taxi and save queues at check in. This worked and we were checked in quickly and efficiently before the rest of the mob on the same deal!
The hotel was clean and well maintained. There seemed to be a cleaner going round most of the time. The bedroom we had was small but clean, with a balcony overlooking Veronicas. This could have been a problem if we had been wanting to relax as it was noisy til 5am. If you stay in the other tower block of the Hotel, this isnt a problem. The room also had a small kitchenette area with fridge/freezer/sink etc. Beds and towels changed most days.
The food was good as theres something for everyone. Even the fussiest of people would have found something to suit. We learned it was better to eat earlier to avoid the rush and get the best choice though. The bar has a good choice of cocktails at reasonable prices.
The location was good as its right in the centre of Las Americas and almost on the beach.
The hotel staff were polite at all times, I wouldnt describe them as friendly, but they did their stuff.
Cant really comment on the entertainment as we didnt see much.
I would visit this Hotel again, if I was able to get the same kind of deal.
