Just got back Sunday 19th June 05. Been eight times previously and this hotel has really gone down.

The food is disgusting (chips pasta and burgers) we ate out 12 of the 14 nights. Also a very noisy hotel, doors being banged at 3am and shouting by idiots that don

We arrived at this hotel on the 11th June, I had written previously to the hotel to request a low floor because I am scared of heights. On arrival we were given a room in the Pelicanos on the 14th floor which I was not very happy about at all. We asked if we could change the room and was told to ask the next day. The next day they did change the room to the 3rd floor which I was a lot happier with.

The hotel itself is very nice, we found it in a good location not in the centre but not far out. The rooms were clean but we did find them very small for 3 of us, there was not enough space to hang clothes, but I resorted to hanging mine on the shower rail.

The breakfasts were the best we have ever had in a hotel, we normally only have breakfast twice on holiday but we were up every day for them in this hotel. The evening meals were also good but some days I did find it hard to find something I liked but I am fussy and they can't please everyone. What we did notice about the food was it was hot and not warm like a lot of hotels we have stopped in.

The pool was brilliant the area around it was very clean, you do need to get there for 9.30 to get a decent sunbed as they are all taken. The second week we were there a girl came round at 9.00 and took all the towels off the beds but she only came round once so people were getting wise and putting the towels on after she had been round.

Some people were getting stopped bring drinks and snacks in but we just took a beach bag out with us and put the drinks and snacks in it and then bought them back and nothing was ever said to us.

The kids club was brilliant my son never goes to these normally but after a few days he started to go and really enjoyed himself they did pool games some days, on the second week you could pay for extra activities like wall climbing and he really enjoyed himself, there was also an evening were you paid

Just returned from our 10 day holiday in the Pelicanos, got to be the best hotel i've ever had the pleasure of staying in!

The swim up bar was in full operation, and the swimming pool has to be the most impressive sight ever to catch my eyes. There is the large lagoon pool along with a circular one next to it, and a kiddies pool. Also the is also a decent sized circular one in the Ocas. The maximum depth of each pool was no more than 1.5mtrs which is perfect for those who don't like it deep!

Only problem was trying to obtain a sunbed around the pool, it was murder! My girlfriend had gone down and put a couple of towels down on beds then nipped in for our breakfast around 9:15am only to find when we went back out, our towels had been removed! So if you plan to dump your towels on beds before 9:30 and leaving them, they won't be there when you return. Which is quite a good idea in all honesty.

The meals were great, a few dishes were slightly repetetive at times but also there was around 3 or 4 different choices each night aswell. Breakfasts were also quite good.

Cleaners were superb and you could be very trusting towards them.

Kids entertainment was second to none, something going on for kids all the time, although i have no kids, even i found their night time entertainment quite enjoyable!

No cockroaches in the entire resort in the 10 days, no lucky lucky men either!

We was on the 11th Floor which i found quite daunting at first but you will soon get used to it.

I will certainly be going back to Sol Pelicanos again and again. No matter what age you are, whether you're single, in a couple, family, and also a pensioner you will absolutely adore this place, take my word for it!

We stayed at the Ocas for 7 days this hotel is one of the best and cleanist hotels I have stayed at in Benidorm. The location is right in the middle of all the entertainment.

The hotel pool is its best feature. The staff were very nice and always smiling. The meals were alright always something for my boys who are fussy eaters. Would definatly return to this hotel.

Stayed in the Ocas. Hotel was great. Food was nice. Can't comment on the entertainment as we were out every night.

The hotel is very clean. Only complaints was that the air conditioning wasn't very good and we could never get a sunbed at the pool until later in the afternoon.

Would certainly use this hotel again.

The hotel had everything you would expect when on holiday.

Food was good even if you were dining at the last minute you always had the full choice of the menu.

Entertainment was sparse,but who needs it when its all on your doorstep.

Pool was one of the best I've seen, although I saw no attempt by the staff to remove towels off sunbeds.

I cant see what people have got to complain about it just seems that people are looking for faults instead of enjoying themselves.

We have been to this hotel three times and after looking right through the thomsons book we have decided you cant beat the pelicanos.

We were told by the reps the first time we went that it was the best in Benidorm, it has definately got the best pool, which my daughter loves.

The swim up bar, jacuzzis, its huge and there are lifeguards at all times. Ok so you cant use lilos but there a bit annoying for others anyway and you can always take them down the beach and have more fun with them in the waves or there is a pool in the ocas you can use your lilos there.

The rooms are very clean and the staff will are very helpful if you have a problem. the food is a very wide choice and there is something for everyone, and it applys to everywhere when they sell food that you are not allowed to take food or drink in but as long as you hide it, as you walk in noone really takes any notice.

And how can any complain about the entertainment when your in Benidorm, there is so much to do, the beach is just a short walk away though we always go to the other end its less rocky.

As for the sunbeds there are hundreds stacked up by the side, weve never had any problems, if there is a large group of you just go earlier. We have always had a great holiday here and many more i'm sure.

Travel to hotel approx 45min from Alicante airport. Location good just 5 mins walk from hotel. Food very good.
Pool the best in benidorm very good and good for kids, load of beds to lie on.

This hotel is A1 for family, clean easy to get to everything, would stay here again. Brought loads of shoes very cheap, Beer approx 1 euro in pubs, 3 euro in hotels.

We stayed at Ocas hotel for a week in October last year and enjoyed it so much we decided to come back for 2 weeks at Easter. We emailed in advance requesting 2 adjoining rooms with pool view which we were allocated in Ocas on arrival.

We find everything about these hotels very good, i.e. location, cleanliness, food, friendly staff etc.

There is never any problem finding sunbeds and the Pelicanos pool must be one of the best in Benidorm, although I wish it was heated like the American pools!!

My son had a great time in the pools, cyber cafe, playstation room etc and made loads of new friends.

Our next holiday is Gran Canaria in June but will probably come back to Benidorm in October and will definitely return to this hotel.

We spent xmas at this hotel, it was quieter than I thoght it would be, but we still enjoyed ourselves. The xmas gala dinner was nice considering it was a spanish hotel, they really tried hard.

The rooms are ok but cleaned very well every day. The staff were very helpful.

The location is very good.The food in the dining room was excellent with something for everyone, if you wanted it warmer there was a microwave to make the food hotter.

We have used this hotel before and will continue to use it.
