Move
If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

I think Benalmadena has something for everyone - from children, teenagers and couples young and old.
We only visited part of the the beach - to the right of the marina (past the Triton Hotel down to Santa Ana beach at the windmill round-a-bout). The sand is dark and gritty but very clean and there are sunbeds and parasols available all the way along.
The promanade is nicely tiled and clean with shops, bars and restaurants all the way along. Men walk along playing guitars and seranading the diners sitting outside.
Behind the sea front there are so many bars and restaurants to choose from. We found a really nice bar in the Plaza de Ole, which is situated to the side of the Hotel Triton , behind the beach front and behind Barclays Bank on the main road. The square is very picturesque, with a small garden and a fountain.
The bars and restaurants there are only open at night and we kept going to Buddys Bar which is run by an english couple, but it is popular with all nationalities including the local spanish. The couple that run it are great fun and the bar has a really nice atmosphere.
Another must is the cable car from Tivoli World upto the mountain top. For 11 euros you get a return trip plus a Lippizano type horse show, birds of prey show and donkey rides.
Must visit the marina - I've never been to Puerto Banus but this must be almost as good!
The Parque del Paloma is another place to go. Huge lake with fountain and the park has wild birds of every description and rabbits flying and running freely.
We were lucky with the weather so didn't see everything there was to see so intend to go back again next year.

The resort could do with jet washing down, the paths are dirty and very often we came across dog muck splattered about, the sea front area though is much cleaner.Paloma park is lovely to walk around with bird ,rabbits chickens just walking about on the paths, also worth a visit is the marina,oh how nice it would be to be rich.We never used the beach but it looked clean.

The resort was well maintained and clean considering there is a large dual carrigway running along its length. Busy traffic but plenty of crossing points. Numerouse Restaurants all good value not may with entertainers.
Beach was clean but a lot was heavy shingle in places.
Walking/or taxi ride from hotel brings you to Marina. Plenty of shops and a great place to visit. They appear to provide for the young at night with many late night bars/discos

The resort is typical Spanish with the usual mixture of bars and shops. It was kept fairly clean.
Entertainment was good with something for everyone.
The beach was cleaned daily and was very pleasant.

The whole area between Torremolinos & Benalmadena is kept beautifully clean. The prom and beaches are excellent, specially for walking along. We have been to this area many times & would recommend to anyone. Plenty of shops, cafes & bars and lovely long stretch of proms. For young night life, Benalmadena harbour area & fuengirola, for the rest of us lovely friendly cafe/bars all along prom & in streets off prom. Torremolinos is great for shopping for clothes,Gifts, etc and is great to sit at cafe top of steps (just past mcdonalds in town) and watch the world go by, and great supermarket down escalator by cafe for when self catering. Carhuella is the most beautiful area set between torremolinos & benalmadena (the harbour area is great here). On the whole, you could not beat this area for a lovely relaxing, romantic holiday & anywhere you go after this never quite seems to be the same. The beaches are immaculate and the sea as clear as a bell. A lovely area for couples & families. Fantastic place

Enjoyed the resort. The Marina is the highlight and is really beautiful.
The Beach is a bit small and cramped in width, with sunbeds tightly packed together virtually right up to the waves, but the beach does stretch for miles.
The main road is extremely busy all day and not easy to cross, and we experienced the usual spanish driving etiquette.
Bus services run every 10 to 15 minutes to Torremolinos (1 euro) or Fuengurola in the opposite direction, but they do get extremely packed in the evening.
I was a little disapointed at the cleanliness of the resort. Bins always seemed to be smelly and over-flowing, litter was all over the place and the footpaths were extremely stained and dirty. I never saw anyone cleaning the streets like we have in other resorts.
Reasonable selection of Bars and Resturants which catered for all tastes.
All in all a very nice resort, but you need to be quite fit to get around as it is generally quite hilly.
