If you are ever going to stay at this hotel make sure you are fit and very healthy and don't have any breathing problems were you need to use inhalers, the road from the front up to the hotel should be named as Coronary Hill as this hill could lead and cause a person to have a heart attack, the side of the hotel where we where it was always in the shade, and another thing is advisable to bring earplugs because you find when people come in late they can be a bit nosy taking no thought for people trying to sleep, and people argueing during that time of the morning....

Not the busiest of resorts, plenty of bars. Dog poo everywhere.
Marina is nice. Don't miss Palmola park.
Tivoli world is a major letdown.

What a let down Benalmedena was . The area is touted as the best place to retire too , get a holiday home , live the dream and all the guff . I found the place smelly , dirty and not very accommodating . We went with our 14 yr old son and we struggled to find "fun" pubs to keep him occupied. Certainly there were plenty of lovely of nice pubs with good food and nice atmospheres but nothing that was in that middle ground that helped parents who's children are too young for the discos but don't want to sit in a crowded square sipping cola and watching people eat or chat . All in all a mega let down .

We enjoyed being in Benalmadena and would go back.
This was our first time and we were only there for one week.

The resort was very clean. Entertainment for young and old. The beach was spotless clean nice sandy beach, plenty of sunbeds. Easy access to neighbouring towns by bus or by train very cheap as well.

Benalmadena is a lovely place with lots of shops, bars, restaurants etc.
If you are looking for good food with friendly people then visit 'Monkey Business' it was lovely! Also if you like Mexican food then go to 'Maracas' the best mexican food i've ever had.
The Marina is by far the nicest and most prettiest places I have ever been to. Suggest a boat trip which usually costs around 15 euros each for a 1hr ride. At night is when it's at it's best all lit up with hundreds of restaurants to eat at.
Overall a fantastic place to visit with lots to do

We found Benalmadena a rather hilly resort and I would'nt think suitable for disabled people.
We will be going back to Majorca next year.

It is quite a walk to the bars/restaurants on the beach, approx 20 mins, but well worth it when you get down there. The promenade is a safe haven away from traffic, especially important if you have young children. I believe there is a livelier part of the resort but we neither sought nor found it.
The marina is well worth a visit or two, approx 7 euros in taxi, plenty of bars, restaurants, shops and boat trips. We found the Dolphin trip to be especially satisfying, much better than seeing them in aquariums!! Sea Life Centre worth a visit but would miss out the Pirate Golf next door, waste of time and money.
All in all we would highly recommend this hotel and resort.

Beach was pebbly in parts and the water was not 'crystal clear'.
Restaurants were a bit hit and miss. Pricey and in some restaurants the service was rather poor.
