Came back from HV about 2 weeks ago, this was one of the best holidays I have ever had!!

The room was spacious and very clean. Food on site was brilliant in all 3 restaurants. In the buffet main restaurant I thought I would have trouble finding food as I am a veggie but there was lots to cater everyone.

Security very good, you would always have to show your card.

Beach club was brilliant, although they should have had more choice of food and it should of been all inclusive (drinks are).

Evening entertainment was ok.. but most nights we went out as buses run late.

I would not go to this hotel in peak season, I could imagine far too many screaming kids. I would advise anybody wanting to geta bus in the morning to leave no later than 9am,the buses were always full late mornings. Buses were 1.15 euro either way, taxis were about 12, and they drive like maniacs.

Staff were lovely in the restaurants and reception. The bar near the outdoor stage and in the piano bar were VERY rude, never smiled.

Irish bar good but it always seemed dead, they should open it at 9, not 11.

Shop very dear...

Excursions very good. We went to gilbrator, shopping, dolphin watching and went up the rock, that was about 58Euros but worth it. Also went to Puerto Banus, evening trip which was about 18 euros.

All in all, fantastic holiday!!!Couldn't ask for better weather. Wouldn't go again but would defiently try another HV somewhere else.

Just got back from hol village yesterday...We found the food great, so much choice for all inclusive. I must say that we did have a bad meal at the Italian (pizza was burnt so we walked out and dined in the buffet restaurant instead!). There does seem to be a bit of a rush going on with the staff in the buffet restaurant so I would advise to order 2 drinks for everyone because the chance of getting offered a second drink is rare!

The day before we left there were notes put up in the piano bar and outside bars stating that each person on all inclusive can only order 5 drinks at a time..I think this was due to a group of young lads who seemed to be buying enough beer for the whole resort at a time!

The staff were all very nice, they don't speak great English but seem to get the just of most things..the maids are great, they clean the rooms so well and even though we were on the top floor, which seemed to be the last port of call for the maids, she still cleaned our room excellently.

First Choice have some great reps at this hotel, they provide so much entertainment, we particularly liked the bugs bunny club as this meant we could have a drink in peace...the movies and munchies was good as well..no kids from 9-11 pm!!

During the day water polo in the pool was a good laugh, they play kids game then the adult one...we loved it!

I read some scary reviews on here before I went, but I must say that we all found this a great hotel and would definitely go back..

The Holiday Village was just the ticket. The hotel was lovely, the entertainment great and the food was yummy.
One word of warning though if you are thinking of going self catering, don't! The only supermarket in walking distance is the one in the hotel and it is ridiculously expensive. Within the first day we realised that it would be cheaper to upgrade to all inclusive, costing about

After reading previous reports, I was hoping we wouldn't be disappointed with the downsides, but am relieved to say that first impressions of the hotel was that is was amazing.

Just to see the look on the children's faces (14 and 11) and my husband's face when we walked into the foyer, I knew we had picked a good one.

The apartment was 1st class, all public areas spotless. The staff (reception, bars, cleaners, restaurants) were very professinal and courteous and it was on the rare occasion when we had to wait for more than 5 minutes to get a drink at the bar.

Food very very good, with excellent variety, so no possibility of repetitive choices. Italian and Mexican made a nice change for two evening meals, plus got a taxi into Fuengorola two nights for meals.

We loved the Beach Club and spent quite a bit of time over there, where my daughter had a go at scuba diving, which she loved.

Hotel location as read previously, a bit out of the way, so were prepared for that, but was not a big problem, as taxis were only 11 to 13 euros into town.

Didn't see much of the entertainment as we did our own thing, but Grease was a laugh on the Thursday night!

On arriving we were immediately impressed by the presentation of the hotel- it was beautiful and clean.

We were lucky as our room was available to us immediately (3 hours before we were supposed to check in).

The food available to self catering was very limited and very expensive.

There was a supermarket but the variety of food was limited and once again this was pricey. We had to get the bus into town a few occasions as we were really hungry.

We would definitely visit the hotel again but only if we went All Inclusive- it is not worth the money to go self catering.

Staff were very friendly and we also enjoyed the show of Greece that they showed on the Friday evening.

Fabulous holiday had by all but not impressed with self catering option.

After reading earlier reports we were not sure what to expect, however what a fantastic holiday we have just had you really feel that nothing has been left out with the set up of the hotel.

The hotel itself was fabulous, the rooms are great, the pools were fab the lay out was clever. Staff were constantly walking round cleaning, our room was cleaned each day towels changed when ever we needed them.

We booked to go self catering through first choice but decided to upgrade to half board on arrival this cost around

AI was waste of time as food so boring and drinks not nice.

Hotel was filthy, lifts and hotel areas are dirty and grubby, never cleaned whilst we were there at all.

Food is very boring and tasteless and service in bars and restaurant is appalling.

90% of staff dislike their job and it shows. Very slow and under pressure as short staffed in all areas.

Would not recommend to friends or visit again

The food is definitley not 4 star it is more like 2 star but the staff were more than helpful. The only problem we had was we found it hard to get a drink.

There are some staff that like the English but the mojority hate them and it shows they should get in some English staff that know how to treat customers.

The location is good because you are in the middle of both of the main towns it is a 1 euro bus ride to Fuengirola and Benalmadena.

The entertaiment is great there is so much to do games in the day time/ The soccer team take the kids and adults kids reps took our kids and they loved it Jason is a great entertainer with the other reps. They put on some great shows and the main shows were quite good too. Also there was a great dup called Devilish and Devine that were great with the kids they had a different show every night.

Some people we had a drink with didnt like them but you cant please every one and we think they are a big part of the First Choice entertainment team and always put in 150 percent.
