We have just come back from this hotel and we had a lovely time, all the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The rooms were very clean we had a great view of the pool and the sea.All areas in the hotel were spotless.The food was good with a varied choice but I suppose if I was there for 2 weeks it would get a bit boring the same at any hotel really.
Location was brilliant not to far away from the town a lovely walk.
Entertainment by the reps was very professional but the artists that we saw were not up to much but everyone has different ideas about what they enjoy. We didn't like the fact that evening entertainment was downstairs in what I would discribe as a dungeon not to our liking at all we like the entertainment to be outside when its lovely weather, but at the Yarama there isn't really enough outside space for entertainment.
The weather was great we only had one morning of cloud the rest of the week was hot and sunny.
We would go again.

Just returned from 2 weeks stay at Yaramar Hotel was very impressed when booking in as they had taken note of an e-mail I sent requesting a room on a high floor.
The Hotel is situated in Los Boliches which is much nicer than Fuengirola centre. We could not fault the cleanliness of the Hotel or the friendliness of the staff, however we were very disappointed with the food and entertainment.
The Thomson reps provided the entertainment Sunday to Friday with a comedian on Saturday nights and if you are a smoker like myself then you will not be able to see the entertainment as you are seated around a corner with no view of the stage. I must say the Hotel duo (Foreign Affair were brilliant) and the comedian booked by the Hotel on a Friday evening was superb.
We spent the first week around the Hotel pool where everybody queued at 9am each morning to bag their sunbed. The second week was much more relaxing on the beach opposite the Hotel, sunbeds provided by the Hotel were 2 euros each and included a free glass of Sangria and a wonderful smell of barbecued sardines.

The hotel was everything we wanted it to be for our much needed holiday. there was plenty of choice for your meals and i free a la-carte dining each week was really nice with a nice choice of menu.
The hotel was always clean and fresh looking.
The location itself was excellent you didnt have to go far for anything, even a sangria on the beach when you purchased you beach bed 2 euros from the hotel reception.
The staff were always friendly nothing was too much trouble even when I kept asking for help with my spanish words, each afternoon we would go into christinas coffee shop next door (part of the hotel)and for 4 euros you could have a pot of tea and a very nice pastry.
Entertainment we found was excellent and the gold team.

The whole place is fantastic.
Could not hear piano player.
Food, entertainment, pool, beach right on your doorstep.
Will visit again,so clean you could eat your dinner of the floor.

This was our fourth annual visit to the Yaramar Hotel.
The quality of the food has significantly improved over the years but sadly the entertainment has slightly paled to previous visits. The U.K.acts have been cut from twice to once a week,this we felt was an ommission that surely deprives the guests of quality entertainment. The production teams vocal harmonies were superb with Paul being exceptional.
The staff are always curtious,polite and helpful, cleanliness has always been excellent.
We have never experienced a problem with noise levels being excessive perhaps staying on the 9th floor has something to do with this.

If you have not been to this hotel go soon. It is the Thomson Gold type and we could not fault it. Pool is on second floor overlooking the beach. Sunbeds are limited and you have to be early, opens at 9am. this isnt realy a problem as the beach is across the road.
The staff are brilliant in particular the bar staff. Say hello to diego in the main bar, lovely bloke together with his other staff.
The extensive including proffesional acts are shown in the down stairs theatre. Very good standard. The location is quiet but not dead. Fuengirola center is about 10 min walk.
If you or your mates like a game of bingo look out left from the entrance for rustys bar in a passage about 2 min walk.

we stayed at the hotel Yaramar and had a wonderful time,the staff were very friendly and couldn't do
enough to help,the reps were very helpful,and we loved

Just got back from a week at the Yaramar. Had a great time.
The entertainment was first class.
We had room 1510 right at the top, none of the clipcopping you have to put up with silly women who won't remove their highheels in bedrooms.
The food was very good with plenty of choices.
The hotel have an arrangement with the beach bar opposite so you buy your beach bed at reception. Costs 4 euros for two beds and sun parasol. Very reasonable.
The entertainment was first class.

We had a fantastic holiday, excellent friendly staff, a very clean and spacious hotel with a good variety of food to choose from.
The entertainment staff were superb with shows and games to please everybody. The bar staff in the aquarium bar were hilarious and we always found sunbeds and plenty of room to swim in the pool at any time of the day.
First experience of a Thomson Gold hotel and we would visit this hotel again without hesitation.

The hotel Yaramar was graded 4 stars although in my opinion the accomodation and the food was 3 star. The noise at night was constant and loud, mainly from the piano and singer this went on until 11.30 every night. After a long day and unremitting noise we asked to change rooms on our first day and were placed in a room along a corridor much quieter but could still hear the piano.
The glass atrium looks nice but acts as an amplifier no good if you are on the 12th floor.
The food was bland and boring some nights we lived on bread rolls. The staff were efficient and friendly, the entertainment was poor.
