We have stayed at the Yaramar every year for the past five years and every time we have enjoyed ourselves.

The Hotel is modern and bright, the hotel is very clean, the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in.

The food was always hot and vety well presented. They have such a vasriety of food to choose from.

The staff at the Hotel are very helpful and polite, Felix one of the porters was very friendly and helpful.

Entertainment is very good they have always put a good show on when we stay at the Yaramar.

My mum and I have stayed at the Yaramar hotel on several occasions, and as yet still to find fault with it.

We have made many friends while staying there. The staff are excellent. They remember you from one year to the another and always take time to talk to you.

The hotel is spotless, they even polish the leaves on the potted plants!! The Yaramar is in the middle of the promenade, across the road from the beach. The food is good and varied, and plenty of it.

The Aquarium disco/bar hosts the entertainment, and Antonio's happy hour at the bar!! There is a different act on every night. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves down in the bar each night.

The Yaramar caters for mostly more mature customers, but that doesn't stop me from going, Im 36,and love it there.

The Yaramar is excellent in most respects. The staff cannot be faulted neither can the cleanliness or comfort of the rooms.

Just over the road to the beach is a blessing. We are returning to the Yaramar but have insisted on confirmation of a +10th floor room as the noise from piano lounge is indeed very disturbing at night.

The food is very good but is a little repetative. Excellent choice of fish dishes. Evening entertainment is dissapointing and this time we will be hiring a car to go further afield for shows.

Having a Hotel ourselves we appreciate all the attention to detail and standards. We have 4-5 holidays a year and the Hotel Yaramar is certainly one of the better ones all be it more oriented to a slightly older age group than ourselves (40+).

Just got back yesterday from the Yaramar. We booked through Lunn Poly and requested a quiet away from it all relaxing 7 day holiday. They sold us the holiday on the basis of either the Andalucian Princess or the Yaramar.

I queried whether there was a road between the hotel and the beach at the Yaramar and was told there was just a promenade to walk along - they were wrong - it had a very busy main road between the hotel and the promenade. Very clever photography in the Thomson brochure.

The Hotel is very clean and the food is plentiful and as we both like fish, we usually got a reasonable meal for a buffet style meal.

The dining room staff are so efficient that if you put down your knife or fork then they go straight for your plate!

I agree with Ron, I was on the second floor overlooking the main road and the noise was constant. I would sack the piano player immediately as we couldn't get away from the noise anywhere in the hotel but particularly annoying in our room.

The airconditioning in the room worked perfectly but it seems petty to have to pay 16 euros to use a tiny fridge.
Towels are provided for the beach but are not changed daily.

Everyone seems to reserve their sunloungers by the pool and disappear for the day- against the rules but the Thomson reps made a point of telling everyone over the loud speaker that it was nothing to do with them and they didn't know how to prevent it.....

I had a nice week but certainly not the quiet away from it all that I requested.

If you are going, I would request a room on the upper floors - a ride in the lift is really something but you are that high up you will miss most of the road and piano noise.

p.s. I have never seen so many cars towed away for illegal parking - a bit unfortunate because the week we were there , you couldn't find a parking spot hardly anywhere and between 09.00 and 21.00 you had to pay a lot to park at the meters. Beware!

Walked in off the street and booked one night (two double/twin rooms)for the family. Couldnt fault the standards of the rooms yes there was a little noise coming from the piano bar but it stopped by about midnight the breakfast was superb, buffet style and the pool was clean. We would have no hesitation in going again but it was a bit too expensive for a family 190euros per room per night. We did notice much to the amusment of our children that the average age of the clientelle was late 50s to early 60s made us both feel very young! both only 40!

We stayed on our honeymoon at the Yaramar. We were given the hotel on our arrival. We found the hotel excellent. No children, (hooray). The hotel was clean the food varied. A great hotel for the not so young, ( we are in our early 50's). We would go back no problem.

Service was excellent. The waiter in the bar,Juan, was particularly attentive.

Excellent view of the Med.

All in all a very satisfactory visit.

Myself and family have just returned from our holiday at the Yaramar Hotel and we thought the entire holiday was excellent. The hotel was first class. The food quality and choice was excellent and we found the hotel to be pristine clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. So much so that we will be returning again in 2005.

I could not believe the views of Ron. We stayed in the Yaramer hotel in 2002,and went back in April 04,taking friends with us who had not been there before. They loved the place and are returning in September 04.Myself and my wife are returning in the summer of 2005 taking two other friends with us.
The hotel Yaramar is one of the nicest Thomson Gold hotels we have stayed in. Ron they do not allow children under sixteen!.Yes we had to queue some nights, but no more than one or two minutes.Never heard the piano from our rooms. We never had any problems with road traffic noise. The place was as clean as a new pin.The staff were brilliant and so friendly.Diego is the head waiter/barman.He is lovley bloke.Down stairs there is the Aquarium room where you have great entertainment in a air conditioned enviroment.Ignore Ron.go and have a great time.

Very smart and impressive hotel. Rooms were cleaned every day and were left spotless. we were on the 10th floor. the ride up in the scenic lifts are terrific.

No kids allowed just great for peace and quiet. Average age at the time of our holiday was around 50 to 70 years of age.

The food was fine although a greater choice would be better, as it tended to repeat itself a couple of times over the fortnight. The heating in the pool was not switched on, in early May it was rather cold for swimming.

The entertainment could do with updating as some of the acts were tired and jaded, but otherwise we would go back tommorow in fact trying to book now for late summer 2005.

If you want a good hotel with a great beach and great views this is for you.

Came home on 18/3/04. Hotel has 15 floors and no matter what floor you are on you cannot get away from the noise. The so called piano bar is the main bar and it is populated by a maniac pianist who thinks he can sing. All the so called music is "enhanced" by loudspeakers and an electronic orchestra and this din continues until 11.30 pm. We worked out why no under age 16's allowed, they would not get any sleep! All bedroom doors overlook the piano bar, and there is no inner door to lock-out the noise added to the fact that the hotel overlooks a fairly busy road where traffic begins at 5.30 am. You have to queue for your restaurant table at all times and again you cannot excape the noise, if you want a quiet meal this is not for you! At this time of year the hotel is more like a care home for the elderly who have more money than sense.
