Having just returned from this hotel only thing good I would say is location. Booked with Thomson 2 adults and 2 children in party. Stayed for 2 weeks.

On arrival we were allocated our room which we thought would be a family room but looked like a double room with four single beds crammed in. Rooms were also very dated and could do with being modernised although they were clean. Spoke to rep and reception who did absolutely nothing.

On day of departure reception staff were very rude. We had to check out at 10 am but flight was not until late that night. We were told the day before we would be given a courtesy room to shower and change. When we returned to use courtesy room we were told hotel was full and to change in the toilets. Found Reception staff very unhelpful.

Food was ok first week but second week was quite repetitive and sickening. Also food was never warm.

Only thing good I would say about this hotel is it's location and the children's entertainment staff who were very friendly.

Would recommend hiring safe as things stolen from room.

Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Thomson holiday reps were also very unhelpful and did absolutely nothing when we asked for help.

Just come back after a 2 week stay and what can I say! What a fantastic holiday every thing about it was brill would recommend this hotel to any one and will definitely return

This hotel is in a great location, with the best entertainment staff of any hotel that I have been to,the food was great as in our party 3 where fussy eaters but there was something every night for them.

The hotel staff where ok but could do with better english speaking ones. Entertainment started at 10.30am and went on to midnight, our child only went into the kids club(thomson) 3 time in the 2 weeks we where there as she found better things with the hotel entertainment.

We all ad a great time here and are now looking to book for 2007. Many of the other guest that we talked to had been to this hotel many times before and as we found out why.

The hotels best feature is its location right on the beach. There were no sun parasols around the pool area, and when I asked why I was told they didnt have any and I was the only person to have complained.
No inflatables or toys of any kind are allowed in the large pool, only armbands for the nonswimmers.
The animation team (all 2 of them) did a great job and worked tirelessly day and night to ensure people had a good time.

In the restaurant, there were lots of choices each mealtime, but sometimes these werent too hot, and unfortunately we have succumbed to e.coli.

We booked allocated on arrival, and were pleasantly surprised when we saw the location of this hotel, it was spotless, the maids seem to be cleaning all day long.

This is our 4th vist to this hotel and it is excellent. Food excellent and the location right on the beach is excellent to.

I have nothing but praise for this hotel.

Food was fantastic plenty of choice the desserts were absolutely wonderful.

Staff and reps were great and all did a wonderful job.

Hotel is located right on the beach with no roads to cross.

Entertainment was great with different acts on every night that we were there, we were there for two weeks and never felt the need to go to any other bars as we enjoyed the entertainment provided by the hotel.

There was plenty going on to keep my 9yr old son occupied both day and night with organised games around the pool and kids clubs both daytime and evening.

Port Aventura, Costa Caribe, Aquapolis and Barcelona were all easy to get to by bus just outside this hotel or by going on the organised reps trips.

We visited Barcelona three times once for the city tour once to visit the nou camp and fountains and once to go and watch Barcelona play. All were wonderful experiences.

I could highly recommend this hotel to anyone excellent location, clean, great food and great staff.

Booked this holiday late on a Thomson Pricebreakers deal and this was meant to be the worst of the three. If this was the worst I would love to see the best.

Room small but workable and clean. The hotel was made up of mostly British and Spanish guests but also a few other nationalities so the food was varied and most days very enjoyable. The entertainment was also ok most nights with a varied program over the fortnight.

Only complaint was the pool was a bit small and the kids were not allowed inflatables. Also not a lot of sunbeds and no chance of getting one after half eight!

To sum up very enjoyable and would go back again.

Word of warning for people booking Thomsons excursions - avoid House of Illusions! The biggest rip-off ever. Childrens portion of Spaghetti Bolognese for dinner and tricks straight out of a Paul Daniels Magic Kit - terrible.

As a couple this was our 3rd visit to Donaire Park. It's ideal for us, especially families with kids 3 years old plus.

The hotel and rooms are constantly clean and tidy, with maid service almost every day.

The location is "on the beach" - quite literally, 10 paces away. Ideal for sunbathers and the kids.

The staff are very friendly and professional, most speaking average to fluent English.

The entertainment is generally excellent. The hotel employs its own "in house" entertainers who work from 11am to midnight, 7 days.

The daytime entertainment is mainly pool activities, games and competitions, aimed at kids and adults alike. Whilst we were there Chris (English) hosted most of this and was very good at what he did. Entertaining us... Try the aqua gym!

The evening entertainment was usually bingo, mini discos for the kids and mini clubs. Mini clubs operated most evenings where kids could go off in a group to play games etc under supervision. Maria (Spanish) hosted all the evening stuff mostly. She is excellent! Been there some years now and very good at what she does with infinite energy, enthusiasm and commitment. I think she deserves her salary doubling regardless of what they pay her. She was fantastic and we adored her...

Shows were on every night, usually about 10pm-12pm.
On the whole they were very good, tribute bands, dancing, Puppet show, magic show, acrobats, singing, competitions to name but a few. Puppet show was fantastic. Only skit is to be made at the acrobat/knife throwing act. This was extremely amateurish, often embarrasing to watch and at times scary. Stay in your room if this is on. Trust me...

Hotel food is excellent. Food is varied every day. Always a fair range and excellent desserts to complement. True, there are chips every night. The food is not cold, only the salads...

In summary, if you're looking for a complete holiday close to the beach, in a safe inviting environment, with entertainment for the kids or young at heart then you've just found it.

Just returned from this great hotel. Everything was very good from position of hotel right on beach.

Great variety of food both at breakfast and night-time to suit everyone. Only small complaint was sometimes wasn't quite hot enough.

Entertainment was great during day for kids and adults alike and some good family shows at night. Thomson kids club seemed well run.

Overall a really enjoyable holiday stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to book again.

We stayed at this hotel last year, we had a fantastic time the food was beauitful, the rooms cleaned every day, staff very helpful and the entertainment was great!!!

There is always something to do all night and day and its right next to the beach which is great!!

I would love to back to this hotel well worth the money!!!!
