Donaire park was the best holiday that anyone could wish for!

Food: The food was great. there was always wonderful waterfalls made out of fruit which was very attracting.

Location: Donaire park is right on the hot clean beach - you wouldn't get closer!

Staff: The staff cleaned the bedrooms every morning.

Entertainment: The entertainment was excellent with different shows on every night. Such as the snake show, parrot show, spinning plates show etc.

Pool: The hotel had two pools (baby pool and a adult pool)which was both a good size. The only moan was that no inflatables was allowed in the pools for safety reasons. Their was also activities in the pool such as water polo and water gym.

Weather: The first day of the week the weather was hot but after that it went cold and thundered for about two days. On the last days the weather was scorching and touched 100degrees.

If you are thinking of going abroad I would definitely advise you to go to Donaire Park!

p.s Make sure you take a lot of sun cream !

The Donaire Park is a 3star hotel, personally I would put it at 3+, not quiet 4star as the decor and lay out of rooms let it down.

Also no gravy for your mashed potatoes and veggies. But saying that some of the buffets were of the standard of the 4star hotels we have stayed in previously.

The hotel is primarily marketed at families and I would not reccommend it for couples wanting a quiet break together away from it all. Loads of kids everywhere.

On entering there is clean,marble and glass reception with a few seats, telephone and internet access, not massive but adequate, reception staff efficient and friendly when not busy.

Restaurant struggles when busy ie the weekend when alot of french and spanish come in for the weekend, but as I have said never struggled to find anything to eat, don't bother with the soup though, watery to the extreme. Plenty of other choice, salads excellant, some nights salmon, prawns etc. Chips every night, good for the kids, puddings reasonable choice ice cream available everynight again kids food. But also good range of fresh fruit strawberries, cherries, apricots etc.

Rooms a little small and spartan nonetheless adequate, clean and beds comfortable, though no second pillows availible.

Bathroom clean, toilet flushed well and good flow on showers. Cleaning dilligent, towels changed when requested beds every 3 days.

Pool area small for size of hotel, this could be explained by proximity to beach, being on the front doorstep.

Entertainment area small inside, better when it was taken outside, again fine if you have young children, but if you are adults better places could be found in Pineda or Salou.

3 sides of the hotel have seaviews, pleasant at night for drinks on the balcony, even the busy industrial port of Tarragona looked quite romantic with its twinkly lights shining. Obviously 1 side has only road views, try to get the seaview or even the pool/seaview where you can watch the entertainment from your own balcony.

Rooms have no fridges or kettles, but do have hairdryers and tv, only shows sport and news.

Shop for pop, beer and water 50yards accross side road.
Would highly reccommend this hotel for families.

We enjoyed a fantastic holiday at the Donaire Park.

The hotel was lovely and clean,the food was great with plenty of variety and the location was ideal.

Beach right on the hotel doorstep with shallow waters which is great for young kids like we had.

There's loads of things of to do for kids of all ages and we would recommend this hotel to anyone with families.

If you visit the Aquapolis water park check the water depth's thoroughly before you try the ride.

Overall we loved our stay at this hotel and resort and would definately go again.

I went with school; we were a big party of 6 teachers and about 40 children. The rooms were very clean (maids clean everyday) and contained all necessities e.g. bath, shower, hairdryer.

We booked the hotel for a last minute deal, although accomodation was named, you do tend to wonder.

We were very impressed with the hotel when the coach pulled up. We arrived in early evening after travelling since miday, and the staff were very organized it only took a short while to check in and in time for the evening meal.The restaurant was very clean and the food was excellent they catered for everyone, Meat, Fish, Vegetarian, and foods that children like, we had no complaints. We did overhear a couple of people moaning about the food but some people you cant please.

We have been to various hotels over the years, and have stayed all inclusive before in others, and I must admit that this hotel is very good for families, we would go back again.

Our only moan, was that the entertainment in the evenings was quite repetetive, and we did get a bit bored. I suppose it was the end of season when we went. Otherwise great for families young or old, situated right on beach what more could you ask for

Hello everybody, just got back from donaire park the hotel was very clean. The lifts are very good no long waits they are cleaned at night. The food was the best I have ever had take my word it was better than some four star hotels.

The location well you could not ask it to be in a better place it took me three steps from the border of the hotel to reach the beach, you wont get big waves because its got a breakwater so its save for children in the sea.

We had two adjacent 2 bedded rooms, which were cleaned daily.

Both were smart and with t.v and bath /showers.
Ample room as well to unpack.

Food-self sevice,good variety,and nice to taste.

Location-right by the beach!
Shops about 400 yards away,frequent bus service.
Full marks.

The hotel itself was very clean. The rooms were cleaned every day, beds were made and the floors were swept and mopped every day. The pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the brochures but was big enough, but it did get very busy and packed at peak times. The food was all cooked and displayed nice but was a bit repettative, but no one ever went hungry.
The snack bar was a bit dissappointing as it shut at 5pm which meant that you couldnt get anything else to eat except for crisps and chocolate out the machines.
The evening entertainment was quite good, there was something different every night. Reception staff were always on hand to help 24 hours a day. The thomson reps were really very helpful too and always walked round with a smile in their faces.

You werent allowed to use inflatables in the pool. But it was quite safe in the sea to use them as the water is very shallow for quite some way.
There was only one person in the animation team and that was david, he worked very hard and needed some help, he never seemed to have any time off. He worked right from morning through to midnight. Every night he does bingo, kids mini disco followed by the evenings act followed by a disco at the end untill midnight. In the daytime there is water polo, archery, darts, shooting and a cocktail game where you can win a voucher for a free drink or icecream.
You step outside the main entance to the hotel and you are on the beach, lovely , its like having the beach as your back garden.
