Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

solou to me is a bustling noisy over rated teenager type resort which seems to try and cater to every possible taste
from family to dunken yobs on holiday...you walk along the any throughfare and are acosted by youngster touting for your custom in local bars where they appear to be giving away large quantities of alchohol in some kind of happy hours arrangement why in gods name do these people come abroad still to these lovely countrys as guest of the local people and set about getting as drunk and noisy as possible ..it beggars believe.. no for me never again

The resort was spotless, we couldn't fault it. It was very quiet at night which was what we were looking for as we had 4 small children with us. The beach was really beautiful and stretched for miles. At night we went for good walks along the promenade. There wasn't a good variety of shops (mostly tacky souvenir shops)however, we went to Barcelona for the day and picked up most of our presents there.
I would definitely visit this resort again and would recommend it to people who have young children and who are looking for a quiet and relaxed holiday.

I thought the resort was good I don’t think there was that many nice places to eat but we always got a bus into Salou nearly every night.
I liked the beach as well I thought it was clean and nice.

There are plenty of bars and clubs in the resort to visit most the bars are advertised as british with flags outside but the Spanish pubs are also very fiendly and could speak english enough to know your needs.
The beach was very very clean but also very very busy but there are some smaller coves up the coastline. Sea was very clean and there lots of water activities such as jet skis boat trips and the banana boats good fun

Salou is a fantastic resort for people of all ages. There is something for everyone. And if you want to venture further afield, Barcelona is right on your doorstep and very easy to get to. Portaventura theme park and caribe water park are a must.

The resort itself was full of things to do and see.
The beach was very busy and keeping track of your children was difficult! however apon loosing my four year old child the beach staff were excellent help in finding her!(have a feeling this happens on a regular occurance)
Be prepared to walk miles with there being much to do you are worn out by the end of the day.
You have portaventura at one side and another water park and zoo at the other but well worth the hike.

The resort of salou is very good for all groups, from single people to families and couples.
The resort is very clean, we can not fault this.
There is plenty of things to do of the night with loads of bars with differnet kinds of entertainment from singers, to clubs, to chill out bars and karaoke.
The beach is very beautiful but can get very full on the main beach. But there is about 3 different beaches within walking distance.
The waterpark is also VERY good.
I would advice this resort to anyone and i would visit it again.

we went in the most busyest time of the year and it was packed the beach is lovely and clean but get there early if you want to hire a sunbed by lunchtime its heaving.
go to the fox and hound for food excellnt value for money and good quality.
the theme park is good the food there is not so good and quite dear.
the water park is also very good but be prepared to que for both.
barcelona is a must la rambela street is excellent for street entertainment.nou camp is a must if you are a football fan but does lack abit of atmosphere.
salou is a nice place to go but would not go back this time of year again just to busy.
