Entertainement outside of the hotel we did not use.

Although we didn't leave our hotel much during our weeks stay there were plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and the beach was beautiful.

Would visit this resort again but only in summer months as deserted at night apart from few random tunisian men wandering the streets!! Where were all the tourists!! The bars and nightclubs were closed except for few along the marina which were nice but empty. Went to shakespeares inbetween yasmine and hammamet which was ok, 70's-80's disco music while watching sky sports being stared at by men! So went to britsh bar, great disco as long as you go after midnight its lively. went with a couple of the waiters. Very smoky though - pity smoking ban wasn't there too! Everyone seemed to chain smoke!

We never really went far from the hotel on this visit as we just went to chill out and lay by the pool or on the beach. But we dont have any complaints with Hammamet at all.

Hammamet is a huge resort and the medina is fun and interesting, the beach is really good with nice soft sand. We did not go out at night as we were too tired but other people did and said they had a great time.
We will definately visit Tunisia again and would definately stay at this hotel again.

what i love about hammamet is the beaches they are probably the best in europe/north africa.the sand is so soft and you acn always find a sun bed.the resort is very relaxing and we always visit a restaurant that we go back to time again.it can be quiet at times but still plenty to do in resort

Didn't explore the local nightlife because it wasn't going to be that kind of holiday but I will be back in Tunisia, probably at this hotel in the Autumn. (Weather was not great in Feb.) Beach was good although didn't spend a lot of time there due to the weather.

Note that the name 'Garden Resort' is deceptive, because the actual holiday resorts are located 2 miles away (where other hotels like Yasmine Beach, El Maudai, etc are situated). There is no shops, entertainment around this hotel and although the advertisement said (when we booked the holiday) the private beach was 400 metres away, it was a misrepresented. The private beach belonged to another hotel and took us nearly 45 minutes walk across back streets (where we felt really unsafe) & gullies to get to it.

It was always clean. beach was spacious and litter free always something going on. crazy golf ,volley ball, belly dancing.
It was a shame that every kiddy disco was the same music etc and they do try hard.
we were suprised how busy the resort and beach was. compared to last year it was so quite no one sunbathing etc. There were plenty of sunbeds etc.
Its a shame some non-english speaking holiday makers were also very rude and pushes in etc. The pool and beach bars were not open to the times it says in the room guides. think it was 4pm they close. yes we would return and recc.it.
