The trsort was very clean if you turn left out of the hotel, but turnright and there is a lot of roadworks and building sites. didn't visit the resort much for entertainment but people we spoke to said it was very good. The beach was excellent

The resort location was 5 minutes taxi ride, taxis are outside the hotel so you dont have to wait. The taxi will cost you 4 dinars which is less than 2 pound!!

If you wanted to go further then sousse is 10 mins in a taxi and has a lovely steak house!very cheap..we reccomend the night out at the casino set up by the reps!!

Very funny night out.

Because we were on an all inclusive we didn't really see much of the resort. Although we did visit the Port one evening, very touristy but all the same very nice. We didn't eat there but if we did go back would definately have a meal somewhere.

The shopkeepers are quite persistent, but definately not as troublesome as others we have experienced in Tunisia and more often than not only a simple "no" was required.

The resort cleanliness was good. You would walk around the streets seeing people cleaning the roads and picking any rubbish up that they find. As we were on an all inclusive basis, we didn't experience the entertainment in the resort. The beach was very good even though the sand got very hot. I would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday. NB - Visiting El Jem (the Roman Colisseum) is a must!!

Our Hotel was situated almost two miles from the main resort, about 10 minues on the local noddy train which was driven somewhat erratically I'd say. The resort was dirty and dusty, not as clean as I'd expected. Entertainment was in the form of an Aqua park which containted little in the way of attractions and Hannibal park which also failed to impress. A small "zoo" was across the road, 12TD to get in for a family of three but little in the way of excitement in their also. In fact, you could walk by and see in where a huge collection of guinea pigs and some sorry looking hihuahuas told it's own story. I know the Tunisian President approved the improvements to this area some time ago and whilst we were there he visited (leading to roads being blocked off and traffic chaos), but it has lost a lot of it's charm and attractiveness because of this.

Again we were slightly worried about the resort as we'd heard that it was quite dangerous to go outside your hotel at night, but it was perfect! its just a short 10 minute walk or so to the harbour with all the restaurants and its absolutly beautiful, the atmposhere is great. the restaurants are good, but the best was the Restaurante Le Mediterranean (not too sure of the spelling!!) the food was out of this world! and so reasonably priced. We had 2 starters, 2 main meals (fillet steaks with potatoes and veg - served different every night), a few nonalcoholic drinks each and sometimes 2 desserts) and the most our bill came to was about £25. the staff there were lovely and appreciated your custom, the food was amazing quality and we ended up eating there almost every second night because we couldnt find anything to beat it! There are lots of wee shops etc which they are desperate to get you to buy stuff, but if you just say no they usually leave you alone! We got a taxi into Sousse one day and went to the Medina, i wouldnt go back there again, it was more hassle than it was worth to be honest! worth a visit but i wouldnt have liked to stay there for a fortnight! If you're going for 2 weeks, id definalty recommend you to go on the Desert Adventure trip, it was the equivilat of about £65 per person but 100% worth it! they fit so much into the 2 days and the overnight hotel was absolutly fine. the camel ride in the sahara was definatly an experience, although an hour was maybe a wee bit too long! it was 47degrees with no shade but its a must! Id definatly go back to Port El Kantaoui again, and would stay in the vinnci, i had no complaints what so ever.
