The resort had plenty things to do i.e. aqua park, zoo etc. The majority of places were clean and tidy, however, there were a few places which let the area down, but they were few and far between.

The beach was excellent, as were those who looked after the sunbeds they could not have been more helpful.

The tours available through the rep were also a good way to see the real Tunisia.

The resort was very nice but had little for youngsters wanting to party all night but that suited us. However you could vist the hotels that did provide that partying which was our biggest groan, as we wanted peace in the evenings and it could be heard far away.
The Beach and Sea was excellent and the people friendly, be prepared to be conned but only if you allow it, as it is their way of life and they do not mean it.
The resort is a quite tourist resort but 15 mins up the road is Sousse a busy and intresting town easily accessed.

The beach is very clean and the sea of a good warm temperature. The Port itself is purpose built for the tourist and built in the old style medina castle type architecture. The harbour is picturesque with the yachts moored up and is surrounded by small cafes & restaurants of which some are outside. You may be fooled to thinking that you are in the south of France. The food was of a good standard and I recommend that you try the cus cus which is an excellent Tunisian dish. The Mediterranean restaurant is very good as is Le Emir. Some Cafes may not sell alcohol so it is best to inquire first. If you are buying at the shops don’t forget to barter. As a rule whatever they quote I half and mediate between that. If you go to Sousse to shop don’t go in the day as it is very hot and you will be constantly be pestered by market traders to buy their wares which can have a great draining effect on your composure in a very hot environment in close quarters.

The resort was small and clean with most entertainment centered around the hotels in and around Port El Kantauie. The beach was lovely and well organised with the water sports given separate areas to the swimmers and a good beach bar to cool off in the shade.

The hotel resort Port El Kantaoui was excellent very clean but on occasion, quite smelly, I think there is a problem with the drains!

The surrounding areas of Port el Kantoui are lovely, yes there is a bit of litter about but nothing drastic.

The port itself is beautiful well worth a visit, just to walk round the marina is great.

The kids loved the pirate ships. We went out of our hotel a couple of nights and walked to some of the local Bistro bars they were very pleasant the locals made you feel welcome. They were all very nice.

The beach was nice and clean and the sea was lovely the only remark I have is that there could have been more sunbeds on the beach but we liked it very much, all that white sand was amazing. We would visit here again

We went into Port el Kantaoui a couple of times but were made to feel very uncomfortable by a few of the locals who constantly harrass you as soon as you get into the marina.

The whole resort was filthy. The beach looked like a cross between a refuse tip and a building site.

We definately will not be going back their again.

Like a lot of tunisia, once you are yards away from the main hotel complexes the idilic suroundings are spoilet by the amount of litter about this is a shame and something you would hope the authorities might pick up on. Having said that, the beach and main tourist areas are lovely and at the time of year we went were not too crowded. The resort it self is not a place for the night owls and you will might find your self going to bed a little earlier than you expected. If like us you were staying at the soviva complex I would highly recomend that you visit the Miami restaurant accross the road if you fancy a change. Quick friendly tasty and cheap and you cant realy ask much more than that.
