The marina is purpose built for the tourist industry. It has lots of bars and restaurants and there are quite a few shops there which all seem to sell the same things.
Across the road from the marina you will find more shops and restaurants (which all have the same menu)as well as a fountain. The water is meant to dance to the music but we don't think it does at all. The music is on a loop in anyway.

The streets are a bit smelly due to camel and horse dung and they could do with someone cleaning them up occasionally.

The resort itself is very clean and the marina should not be missed.
Water sports of all types are available at good prices
Getting around is cheap and easy,Taxi's are readily available and a bit of haggling will get you to Sousse for about 7 dinars.(£3.50)
The resort does not have bars as such, therefor if you want a drink it is either in the local hotels or at the marina which has a good selection of restuarants etc.
The 'Off Sales at the marina charges £75.00 for a litre of Johnnie Walker Red label.

All in all Tunisia is great for a relaxing holiday and with a two day trip to the Sahara and other interesting destinations costing only £72.00 the holiday will not break the bank.

PEK is in my opinion the best resort area in Tunisia especially the marina area.If you fancy a steak you could try the Le Meditrianee resturant in the marina.
There are a few bars around the marina and the fountain which are worth a visit.

The beach was clean but a few hassles on watersports sales.

PEK is located just right for trips into Sousse and the Sahara.

Hotel provided some entertainment which was adequete.
Ideal for a quiet relaxing break.

I only went to the beach once becasue I found it very messy & dirty. I think some effort should be made to tidy it up. I have stayed in Sousse and Hammamet and the beaches were lovely and clean.

The resort of Port El Kantaoui is lovely and clean with plenty of cafes and places to eat. The Hannibal Park is good for kids and the shopping is good, however for no hassle go to the fixed price centres if you don't like haggling!!! The marina itself is pretty at night with the fountain which lights up in different colours. The beaches along this stretch are lovely with clean sand and plenty of watersports. I would recommend it!!

The resort entertainment wasn't up to much but apart from that it was a clean & Friendly place to visit.

Sun Sand & Sea will keep the kids happy for many hours... and boy was it hot!... not a rain cloud in sight for the full 2 weeks...

Recommended.

The resort was very clean the streets where rubbish free and many times we watched as the shop keepers was the streets down with scented water.
The entertainment with in the resort at night was very low key and really centered around the hotels or the very good night club at the Houria place hotel.
The beach was of a fie white powder but was spoilt by rubbish left behind by tourist and the beach area around the harbour was not really the best as the harbour wall seems to push any rubbish back towards the beach. The best bet is to go a little further down past all the jet skis and here you will find a fantastic beach .
Do watch out for the jellyfish though as they do seem to be quite popular along this stretch of coast.

Port El Kantoui is a purpose built Marina, very pretty and generally clean, where they lose points is the beach, they do not clear away the debris, weed, beer cans, ect,one side of the marina with the cafes is very friendly the other side you tend to get hassled all of the time.
would l go back for a 5th time yes but not in june when it is swarming with children.
