Food was very bland - No Tunisian food apart from one night.
The hotel room was fine and always cleaned nicely - you have to remember it is only a 2* hotel.
The hotel staff were nice but only because they are after a tip everyday!
The entertainment was awful - it was like Butlins in Tunisia.

On arrival at the hotel there is a wait while you are checked in, then queue again to have your photo taken, and then queue again! To receive your all inclusive card. Took over an hour. Some people did, after check in, go straight to dining room to eat and then returned later to do photos. This seemed to be acceptable. The dining area on a Sunday stayed open till 10.00pm to allow for arrivals.
Porters took our luggage to room where the room was just as in the brochure picture. Larger than I expected. We had interconnecting rooms and each had an en suite. Rooms were clean, coat hangers provided and we did use the heating and it did work effectively. The only thing that let the room down was the bath towels. These were a bit on the thin side and didn't really dry you well.
The hotel kept clean throughout. The gardens were being attended to, the paths washed daily, and the pools were clean. There was maintenance going on with kids club being re vamped, painting in areas and re-tiling in the indoor pool. Other areas were inspected whilst we were there so it suggests that further maintenance will be carried out. This didn't interfere with our stay at all.
The outdoor pools were cold (the kids still went in) but the indoor one was warm. Lifeguards were seen at all the pools. These were kept very clean and we noticed that the pool attendants did check chemical levels throughout the day. The pool toilets were clean and well supplied with toilet paper.
The waiters were all very pleasant, and remembered our daughter

The food was edible but not enjoyable, there were chips on the menu every night and ketchup as they say you can't eat without ketchup!!
The location was ok. The hotel is right on the sea front but no-one warns you about the locals, we walked onto the beach and got conned into buying a piece of rag with a tie to put on your head. There were also locals selling cigarettes and camel rides on the beach and they were following us trying to sell these, this we found very annoying as we said no but they ignored it.
The hotel staff were kind although they expected a tip for everything.
The entertainment was good in the evening but not a lot to do throughout the day.
The weather was pretty bad while we were there (which is not their fault) but we ended up sitting around all day with nothing to do except watch the film at 3.30pm every day.

The staff can`t do enough for you we found everyone that we met to be most pleasent. The food is excellent a wide variety on offer day noon and night.
The animation team put their heart and soul into providing entertainment for all of the different nationalities that are guests of the hotel.
I think people forget that they are in a foreign country sometimes and ought to respect the fact that it is not England and if you want an English holiday go on holiday in the UK!!
We loved it so much that my family and I are going again this February and I for one can`t wait!!

The hotel is so clean the rooms are very basic like just your beds and bathroom the views are amazing though.
Like other reviews the food is strange but they do have a wide choice for english toast, ceral, etc.
One thing I would say is bad is the location. It is really in the middle of no where but taxies are cheap to go to the towns.
The hotel staff are so nice and always have smiles they do work so hard so it is worth tipping them at the end of your stay.
The entertainment is ok but not the best they do try hard. it is mainly aimed at the young kids like dancing and games.
All in all I would say that this hotel was very clean had friendly staff and would tell people to stay here when they visit.
I think that this hotel really finds it hard in the summer that is why the reviews are bad.
Also I would say that you need to go all in at this hotel as there is no where else to eat if you are half board..
As well the weather was great hot! hot! hot!

We travelled with three sons aged 15,11,10 they were quite bored as the reps do not seem to tell you what is going on or when leaving the resort is a adventure in it self quite scary but remember to say no thank you and most of all walk very quickly.
The pools are fantastic and a sight for sore eyes the views from the rooms was like looking at another world they were breathtaking. Outside the gates there is a go-carting track wich is very enjoyable and good value for money all in all I highly recommend the hotel but not the location Tunisia is not for me.

We arrived late at night to be greated with a spot light, nobody explained what they were doing we were just told to stand still while they took pictures(felt like a criminal)found out afterwards it was our pass cards for drinks etc.
Rooms were o.k and the views beautiful. To get to the restaurant you had to walk past a lot of stalls and constantly hassled to buy things.
Hotel had a zoo,we found the animals ill treated and it was infested with rats(hundreds)We reported this and that other holiday makers had seen them around the pool area and in the main bar,we were told they had this problem before and would try to solve it.
We left the hotel once to explore our surroundings only to be forced on to a horse and cart and it turned out to be the most frightening experiencies of our lifes, the driver took us to an isolated shop and became very abusive because we would not go in and buy something. My children all under ten started crying,we managed to get back safely after buying a camel for each of the children costing

At meal times we found the choices unbeleivabley varied something for all tastes! The cleaners were always on the go. The Staff were always helpful.
The Location was between Monastir and Sousse, so your not tied to just the one town. Taxis are cheap anyway. If you feel tied down book for a Safari (2Days) or (3days)wouldn't recommend though for families with young children as there is a lot of travelling.
We arrived on Boxing Day and spent New Years Eve at the Hotel, we did not know how we would be celebrating the New Year, but the staff pulled out all the stops and we celebrated in style with a 7 course meal and drinks.
They also put on a floor show, juggler, belly dancer, and disco, (fantastic).
The waiters worked really hard that night to serve every body at the same time!
The only problem was the weather which was very cold with rain (lighteneing storm, sunny in the mornings but clouded over later in the day. But thankfully we still had a good holiday.

We were all inclusive and the food was excellent. Breakfast ranged from cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, fruit, bolied eggs, scrambled etc. to egg and bacon.Lunch and evening meals had a daily choice of pasta, lamb, beef and chicken as well as loads of vegetables. There was also a childrens food section. Our daughter is a veggie but she was more than well catered for.
Food from the snack bar on the beach was good too.
Drinks were okay. Possibly the brandy I drank was a little watery but no problem, I just ordered a double.
The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful, especially the guy who ran the archery club.He put his heart and soul into turning us into budding Robin Hoods. The horse riding staff were terrific. Our daughter spent most of the holiday at the stables riding and helping out and were more than trustworthy to look after her. This was an important factor as she is only 11.
The trips we went on were great, especially into the Sahara desert although I would add that the 3 day trip would seem to have better than the 2 day one that we went on.
We went into Skanes town , to Monastir etc which required a bus or taxi. The taxis are so cheap that this wasn,t a problem and the drivers are so desperate to get a fare that they would wait for hours to do your return trip with no charge for waiting.
Whilst there we had to see the doctor which fortunately was covered by our travel insurance but he was very prompt and very good.
We would recommend that you tip chamber maid and waiter when you arrive and you can be sure of A1 service. They earn such a small wage that even a small tip is recieved with a hug.
We would more than willingly return to this hotel which says a lot as we are guite fussy about where we stay.

The pools were very clean and big. But I suggest if you do go there get a tour round the place or you won't know where everything is its so big.
The rooms are very small but big enough to sleep in but they do not have a kitchen as you eat at the restuarant.
If i had the chance to go back I would it is such a nice place.
