Hotel food is very nice, lay out like a buffey, however staff are there when needed and food is always topped up and is all you can eat yummy!!
Being 19 I would advice this hotel for familys because the hotel is very family orientated and the entertainment put on at the hotel is based around the kids. the entertainment was said to be very good.
Hotel staff very flirty, be frim with them just give a straight forward no!! They will then leave you alone!!! Most staff friendly but do expect a tip not much the equivalent to 5p lets say, if I were you I would tip you get alot more back , eg coffee was served and brought to me and my boyfriend everyday !!
Beach is nice, sea lovely , I would recommend this Hotel !!

The restaurant is nicely decorated and food is gorgeous and our room was of a very good standard, the air conditioning was great and I enjoyed my stay!!!

Our balcony overlooked the sea (gorgeous!!) but also over looking the pool (what a beautiful view).
The rooms are clean and newly refurbished, towels changed regularly, beds made everyday, floors swept and moped, etc.
Hotel food is to a very high standard and is all you can eat yummy!!!!!. The restaurant is pleasant and is also newly refurbished, the hall ways are in need of TLC but apart from that, everything seems brand new.
This hotel is well worth a three star!!!!

The resturant was ,more then adequate with each table nearly having its own waiter. The pool area was clean and enjoyable to use. It's location in relation to the beach was brillant only 2 minutes walk with good paths.

The hotels location could not have been better, just a two minute walk away to the beach and close to plenty of shops. The food was excellent and the restaurant is pleasant.

Outside the hotel there's a handful of shops and a few restaurants, but Port el Kantoui is 5 mins by taxi and has loads of shops which you can get loads of bargains!
Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, my only complaint is that the maid didn't do much cleaning in the room apart from make the beds and change the towels.
The entertainment staff were great, a kids disco every night followed by a show, which changed regularly so didn't become repetitive and boring.
Would recommend this hotel, we are going back next year.

The main reception and dining areas are bright and pleasant, though some rooms leave a lot to be desired. The corridor off reception leading to some bedrooms is drab in the extreme and the rooms there are shabby. My original room overlooking the pool (319) was much newer but a long walk up and down steps so I asked to be moved and got room 12,off this corridor, which could best be described as 'adequate'. There are a lot of steps in the hotel, both inside and down to the pool and beach area, so it is not really suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
The staff were lovely and very friendly and I couldn't fault them, with the exception of my chamber maid who, apart from making the bed and changing towels, did very little in the way of cleaning, except for removing the last of my soap a couple of days before I left, so that I had to get some more from reception. If the same happens to you, remember the French for soap is 'savon' - I forgot and it took ages to make them understand.
Meals were quite reasonable and all the meat was lovely, with no fat or gristle. Choice of vegetables was sometimes odd - rice is lovely and most days they have chips or saute potatoes. Deserts are mainly cakes, though we did have ice cream one day and beautiful strawberries on another occasion. The bread is gorgeous so most mornings I had bread, butter and apricot jam for breakfast, followed by lovely pancakes with lemon or chocolate, which was better than the scrambled eggs (either sloppy or 'one slice or two'). Cups of tea were the best I've ever had in Tunisia.
Entertainment did not really start until the last few days of the holiday but no doubt it will pick up later in the season. You can, however, use any of the other hotels in the complex. The pool area is very pleasant and the bar there, where you can also get snacks, is nice - I do not recommend the lasagne though.

The only down side for me was coming home!!! We are going again September 2005. We had also heard not to leave valuables lying about. I did, leaving my mobile phone, money and handbag in the room and never had so much as a penny stolen. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was basic and tatty, the bathroom was full of cockroaches, the water from the taps and in the toilet was a rusty yellow colour.
The pool was impressive but we didn't risk going in because of the state of the water in the room.
The staff were fairly friendly.
We went in to the night club when i went in to the toilet half of the dance floor came in with me.
Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of the place.
