Largest Rooms are in the newly refurbished rooms around the low 2000's. If you have mobility problems let reception know they will try to get you a room close to the bars/reception and no stairs to climb.

Sousse was busy and hot and smelly no change from previous visits. Beaches were clean water clear some weed.Very few sellers and looky looky men.
Taxis plentiful prices varied greatly - agree price before you set off.

Resort was a bit daunting at first but once you learnt to say no politly but firmly seemed very chatty people.

Went to Medina what an eye opener, diffrent culture! But all in all very freindly sometimes a bit to freindly just say no.

When arriving in Sousse, you will probably not think much of it, but you most explore the place as there is much to do.

The Medina is a great place to go to if you like to shop and make sure you have your bartering head on. They always over price the goods, but you can get a good quality leather bag for approx 10 dinar (£4.25!!). One tip is to go to the shopping centre just outside the medina. This will give you a good idea how much to haggle for.

The beach is lovely. You do get people trying tp sell you stuff, but to be honest, its only a few times a day and if you say no thank you, they go away!!

There are a few nightclubs in sousse, and quite alot of bars and restaurants. We went Half board so didnt eat out much, but there seemed to be pretty busy. They is also a Casino for the brave men and women who wish to gamble!!!

All in all, a great place to visit.

Sousse is big, noisy and very, very busy, but it is a main town so it is only to be expected.

If you want somewhere a little more sophisticated,go to PEK,a lovely, quiet resort with all you need in the way of shops and cafes.

I must add that the Tunisian people are very friendly and helpful at all times.

The resort of Sousse is interesting for a visit but I would not wish to spend too much time there. The Soula Shopping Centre is Government run and fixed price so no hassle, but the Medina street market was very un-settling. Lots of hassle constantly. If only the local shop owners realised that if they allowed tourists to browse around they would buy more! We just walked as quickly as we could back to the taxi rank to escape the bombardment! Shame really as it would have been nice to just stroll along and look at what was on offer.

Would have preferred something outside hotel small strip etc, but becuase Tunisia is still growing, and we did do All Inclusive in grounds, then you were tired at evening.
My 8 yr old went para-gliding/banana boating, setee boating and even went scuba diving with own instructor in Sousse (highlight).
The Animation Team done as best they could with accessories, but the humour made up for them.
Beach okay. You wade out upto chester, then it goes shallow again.
34d plus for the 2 weeks LOVELY - best tan I have ever had!!
I had read a lot bad reviews about this Hotel but went with open mind, don't let the bad ones put yu off.
If you want a lively day, then relaxing in square having quiet drink then go here, very relaxing.
Yes you get the haggling in the towns but it's all in fun.
Our Rep Issam was Tunisian so told us all the tricks-he was lovely, he was representing Tunisia so did'nt want us getting the wrong impression of Tunisian's and therefore advised us when hagging divide by 4. He was always at Hotel and availalbe 24 hours.
Yes you did get the moaners - but what Hotel does'nt!!

The resort itself was very quiet and building work is clearly on the way although it was seemingly clean and tidy
There is only a pub and shop next door within walking distance although Sousse is a short taxi ride if you wish to haggled like never before and approached by begging flower selling children
The beach was great with sunbeds and plenty of water sports

I didn't leave my hotel resort that often, when I did it could be an ordeal on an evening with all the flower boys, traders, and restauranteurs pestering you to buy their stuff.

Always negotiate a price with the Taxi drivers and hold on tight!

Use the phone boxes instead of the hotel phones or mobiles as they are much better priced.

Fabulous resort could do with a make-over however it is the older hotel of the 3 on site, with this in mind it held the most enjoyable evenings and guests would attend from the sister hotels to enjoy the entertainment even participate on occassions. The added benefit was the poolside activities throughout the day and music to entertain or relax to all day long. The beach was fantastic a little overcrowded and the sand became extremely hot making it sometimes impossible to walk on, i did find a night walk and swim soon solved that problem!! This hotel has a genuine character and the guests are made welcome by all will definitely visit very soon
