Largest Rooms are in the newly refurbished rooms around the low 2000's. If you have mobility problems let reception know they will try to get you a room close to the bars/reception and no stairs to climb.

first impressions of sousse, was oh dear! not the cleanest.
quite a bit of construction going on throughout the entire city.footpaths are very uneven,so for the unsteady on your feet folks, be careful.having said all that.we were more than happy, with remaining within tej marhaba hotel.as its a bit to hot to be walking about the streets.

we have been to Sousse a number of times and like the area , we always stay outside of PEK so that we are able just to pop into the port when we want a change of view. You can get taxies straight out side your hotel for about 5tdn about £2.50 it takes just over 5 mins to get to the port.We would recommend you visit both day and night as both are entirely different. If you dont like the hussle and bussle of PEK with its bartering just outside the hotel on the left is a large deptment store selling all fake goods and tunisian gifts food and more or less anything else you might need, this is a fixed price store so no hagglibg needed, the staff in this store are really lovely and very welcoming.

I would not want to stay in this resort again simply because to have any evening entertainment we had to get taxis daily which and even though taxis are cheap it soon adds up after 2 weeks

The resort was ok but nothing much there. there was 1 bar which we didnt bother going to, as the entertainment in the hotel was fab. The beach was lovely and clean.

the resort itself was clean but not as clean as it could be , considering being next to a beach there is alot of sand gets around, there were plenty of restaurants and bars near by for quick enetertainment , there was also water parks and various road journeys on horses available , the beach was great , offering a wide variety of extreme water sports, great for all the family, the anima the animation team from the hotel also entertain down at the beach , a personal favourite of mines was the water aerobics. i would definetley visit this resort again , all in all this was the best holoiday of my life

the garden's need a bit of a tidy, the step's were bit uneven but you have to expect that with the heat of the sun any hot place concrete suffers!!!the pool was closed for the first part of the week it was being cleaned, they have to do it sometme!we were still able to sit round the pool,it was nice and quiet,we only walked to the beach for a moment, looked o.k.the two day trip was tyering but well worth it,the bar closed at twelve but there was a late disco through the garden,we met a lot of locals and they were all very friendly, the security made sure we were o.k.had a brill time, looking forward to return

We have visited Tunisia 4 times now,and enjoyed everyone of them.Sousse is very interesting,in the main area, the outlying areas are as you would expect an Afician country to be.However, people there are all very friendly and helpful.Taxis are ceap and the drivers helpful.

I found sousse a very tiring place to visit, once out off your hotel expect constant grief, do you want taxi, look in my shop, use my restaurant,go on my quadbike, camel, jet ski, horse and cart...it's never ending and having no money is no deterent.everyone wants to know where you're from and it becomes very tedious.
went on a lovely train journey to tunis 2hrs each way 17 dinars return 1st class (although don't expect too much.)
had a wonderful hassle free day in a very beautiful city.

the resort of sousse is ok, the markets are a bit off putting if you dont like people keep coming up and asking you to look inside their shops, we had my mother who's 78 with us and she found it too much, i had been before so knew what it was like, the taxi's are ok but you must ask or tell them a price before you get in the car, the hotel marhaba beach is nice but we did not think it a 4star more a 3star
