The best rooms are on the 6th floor, lots of restaurant around hotel, sea just around the corner.

Don't be fooled by the hotel being 4* and don't go all inclusive.

Used Ora Tours in Side for excursions with no problems. Did quad biking which was all off-road and good. Also did 3 day trip to Cappadocia for £40 each half-board - what a bargain! Visited Manavgat market and also the waterfall.

the resort was spotless with a number of pools to choose from, especially liked the relax pool with no under 16's allowed. lots of bars dotted about the place including a cocktail bar. beach was clean, never had any trouble getting loungers or parasols.can't understand why there are so few brits holidaying here, nearly all german and russian.don't take lira take euros, everything priced in euros.i'd definitely go back here again.

Beach fabulous. Resort typical small Turkish town with shops and cafes. Some british bars but we avoid these as they are too similar to home and that is not what we want when abroad. Tour operaters offer good value tours and much cheaper than booking through the rep. Great fun haggling and the next day the owners make a point of shaking your hand and wishing you a great holiday. Everyone is keen to improve their English and it was a pleasure to stop and talk to locals

Side is an ideal place to stay if you like history, it has a large theatre and Roman ruins galore.
The locals are very keen to show you around but do expect payment in return.
We visited in May so the beach was fairly quiet and always plenty of sunbeds. We could walk from our hotel along the beach into the town of Side (about 1 Mile)
There were lots of water sport along the beach and various boat excursions from the harbour.
Side is a lovely resort and I would return there for another holiday.

The reasort entwertainment was excellent lead by a great animation team. The cleanliness of the resort was also excellent in early hours of the morning you would see staff aroung the pools cleaning around the beach getting everything ready for entertainment and they were always helping you if you needed something or wanted any infomation about the resort.

Walk down the main street and you will be pestered. We found it easier to go down one of the parallel side streets to get to the harbour area, it was quieter.
The Saturday market near the mosque is not that big and a selling all the same stuff. They weren't that keen to barter, either. Don't have a drink at the cafe at the back, we got cherged 4TL for a small glass of Fanta, which it was not. My guess is that it was from a 2 litre bottle of Sprite, with some cordial thrown in.
Apparently, Manavgat market (indoor, daily)is better and cheaper. Big beach (to the left of the town as you look) is reached by walking through the ruins of a Roman market, this hasn't changed from when we were there 15 years ago. You can get a camel ride from here. Sunbeds etc. were not on the beach when we were there, but a local says the mayor made a law that they aren't allowed until the end of April.

Resort always looked clean, but obviously has a big problem with food hygiene.

Fabulous resort.
Beach could be a bit bigger but was very nice overall.
