Quieter part where we stayed, but give another year or two I think it will be the better side of the resort. Plenty of bars and night clubs all friendly. The beaches were spotless. I will defently go back

Altinkum has grown so much since we first went and I feel there is something there for everyone now. The place is cleaned regularly and there is loads of entertainment. The main beach does get a bit full and is not as nice as the third beach which is a nice little bay and a proper suntrap.
We have been here many times and will be going back next year.

Main beach was cleaned regularly. We stayed in the Tuntas Beach area(2nd Beach)which was a nice sandy beach which gently sloped into a lovely blue sea ideal for children and swimming. Unfortunately this beach was never properly cleaned and was littered with cigarette ends. Plenty of music bars for those wishing to stay up till 3am. This is not a quiet resort if you want a peaceful holiday.

the resort was quiet with a few restaurants and shops.not very pushy staff ( end of season ).nice and clean with no loutish behavour.Little entertainment at our end of the resort.no booming noise in the evening.
mixed feeling about beach. nice sand complete with cig stubbs and quite a few loose dogs.Lovely sea, safe and clear with fish.shallow for a good distance great for none swimmers.a little watersports available outside hotel.the sea and beach might attract us again and the fab weather for the end of september.

the resort have been cleaned up over the last 10 years and is now fantastic. the only downside is that the beds on the beach are horrible and not comfy. the resort entertainment is fantastic and in just about every bar they have their own staff who are friendly and cannot do enough to make you welcome. the sunshine bar (with jason) is great. our restaurant (jimmy's place) is one of the places i eat regularly. everyone who works there is also great. again they cannot do enough for you to mae you feel right at home. there is something to suit everyone in the resort of altinkum. just remember, everyone who works in either the hotel, bars or restaurants there, work extremely hard, long hours and they get paid buttons. so remember, when you have had the service (no matter where or what), please remember and TIP. would you like to get out of your bed and start work from 07.30 and not finish until 2am next morning, do all this for practically £40 per week!!!!!

lovely resort , not particularly turkish but not a mcdonalds in sight , the shoppin is better in marmaris but this is a perfect place for a family holiday the 3 beaches are lovely and if you walk along the coast there are loads of little bays

This was our 4th visit to Altinkum the first being ten years ago. Not a lot has changed in the way of resturants or bars in ten years. The resort is developing though and will be massive over the next few years.
There is loads to do for all ages. The people are very nice although you will be hassled to go in bars etc but they are only doing their jobs. A nice no thank you and just carry on walking.
Our favourite restaraunt is the Family Door we ate there a lot and Sunday Lunch is good.
We tried the Aqua Park at Kusadassi it was a massive rip off. Dolphin show you have to pay separately for £10.00 each on top of your admission fee. Apart from the Dolphin show the Aqua Park in Altinkum is easliy on par with this and is only a 15min Dolmus ride. Rather than just over an hour.
We will return at a later date. The place, people, food are just fantastic.

Altinkum's main feature is beaches which were lovely apart from that everything else was boring. We'll Never Return Again.

The resort was clean, The entertainment for the kids on a night time was really good there was always something for them to do and through the day they had the water slides on, The BBQ and Turkish night was also very good great breakdancers and alex eddie and micheal were also fab...got to watch the crazy frog dance ..Belly dancer was not up to much...
All the waiters were lovely made our holiday the best...Big hello to Ali, Jay jay, michael, chris, corbie, okies, eddie,Alex(mugly mugly as he likes to be called, tyson, sam, smiley who had the best geordie accent ever, mahornie also the manager moses he was lovely aswell....The waiters were always upbeat and worked ever so hard all day and all night. We only came back 2 days ago but have already booked up to go back next year...Was the best holiday we have all been to...cant wait till next year...

Lovely resort. Would probably avoid July and August as this is the Turkish Peoples holidays and gets very very busy.
