the pool and food area are very clean and tidy all the time never had any problems! the entertainment was great they had ladies night all ladies get cocktails half price and their meals half price then they have some dancers on and break dancing then at the end of the night everyone jumps into the pool and whoever doesnt jump in gets thrown in good laff! they also have the barbecue on a friday i didnt go myself but my family did said the food was lovely and you can help yourself as many times as you want! the beach is very nice but its too hot its better to stay at the hotel! if you want to be guaranteed a good and clean hotel go to the queensresort !!!

Can't give much feedback on Gumbet itself as we only visted once or twice but had a great time at the Roxy. It's a very lively place, perhaps more suitable for the younger crowd, plenty of bars, restaurants and tourist shops. Friendly atmosphere as you walk through the town.
Didn't visit the public beach as our hotel had its own private section, sand and shingle and very narrow so the public beach would probably get very crowded in the height of the season.

Gumbet was lively with plenty of places to eat and drink. There was the usual array of shops selling leather, t-shirts, gifts and trips. The hassle minor and good natured. The western side of the beach was very clean but around the bay to the east had some litter. The beach promenade also had a good choice of restaurants.

The resort we stayed in was very clean. There was lots of entertainment on everynight with a large choice of pubs and restaurants.You do have the choice whether you want a quiet or lively night. I was on my own there with my 10 year old daughter and i felt so so safe. The beach was a very short walk from where we were staying and was very clean and safe with sunbeds provided, no need to pay!! I definately want to go back next year!!!!

The entertainment in the resort is amazing. Everywhere you go there's a friendly vibe and the bars/restraunts which intrigue you. From my experience, the Tukish culture are one of the most friendliest.

the resort is not to clean as there are dirt roads there are some entertainments there were dancers and fire breathers the beach is gorgous im going to gumbet again this year

Love Gumbet. Friendly and varied. Good choice of restaurants. The Windmill is very nice, as is the Mermaid.
Bodrum is close by and a large selection of trips and excursions mean there is no time to get bored.
Ignore my beach rating - IO don't go to the beach as hate the sea - don't think there much wrong with it, just not my cup of tea!
Been to the place 3 timnes and will be going again next year. Love it!

this resort is good fun and very reasonably priced beer is about a pound for half litre the best places to eat are on the beach front where a great steak meal for two only costs about 18 pounds with normally the first round of drinks are free. the bars are not too bad for hassle, they are on the front trying to get you to go in but if you dont want to just say no thanks and thats it

Outside the hotel there are loads of clubs and pubs all clamouring for your attention & business - very pushy! We found the Planet Yukka to be quite pricy and not half as good as the Mandarin just down the road which also has play facilities for the kids. Gumbet is fine if you like 18-30s holidays but with a young family it was not the place for us! Be careful also when buying stuff, I bought some sandals for my husband and they had broken by the next day, I took them back and they exchanged them but put the returned ones back out for sale! The dolmus service is great! Realy good value and regular service with routes all over the place. While in Turkey we visited some other resorts that were much quieter and more relaxed so although the hotel is fine we won't be visiting Gumbet again and will opt for one of the less frenetic resorts. If you are looking for an 18-30 style holiday this is a good bet!!
