The resort of Gumbet is great! The area is very clean and tidy and there is plenty to see and do!
Gumbet has everything you could want from a holiday loads os shops with fantastic buys, watersports and a beautiful beach. During the day it is peaceful and at night it comes to life with great bars, restaurants and nightclubs! I highly recommend Outback Bar for its great cocktails and friendly staff!

Our 2nd time to the resort. Shopping is great although prices have gone up since 2003 in my opinion. Locals do pester you a little more in Gumber than they do in Bodrum but this is never in a nasty way. Weather didn't droip below 30 in May except for two days when it was rainy/cloudy but as we went for two weeks it didn't really bother us as there was plenty to do in the hotel.

Gumbet is a beautiful place with lots to do and of course the shopping, all labels are so cheap we had to buy another case to bring all the clothes home. Everyone we met had been there before and we will def be returning

Have been to Gumbet many times, the resort has something for everybody, the best prices for silver are in Gumbet silver in Bar Street and Gumbet Jewellery has great deals on gold and diamonds, speak to Emma and Ilhan there, lovely people. The resort is very child friendly, but the pavements are not great for the elderly or any one with disabilities. The beach in Bitez is better and Bodrum is worth a trip for the lovely restaurants and nightlife too. My favourie restaurant in Gumbet is Cheers, where the staff are so helpful and there to make your time enjoyable

Gumbet is a great place for couples and groups, the beach isn't very nice as it's shingle but we stayed by the pool most of the time so it didnt matter to us.
There are some great restaurants in Gumbet - please try Nacho Nana's and try the fajita's or the turkish pot kebab. The staff are great people and will look after you really well.

Resort was lovely with lovely people and great restaurants especially the Columbia which included a complimentary bottle of wine. AYAZ, Cozzy beach was fantastic - with the bar in the pool and again excellent service. You tend to get hastlers on the street wanting your attention, but they are generally friendly when you stop for 2 minutes. Beach was lovely but sea was cold, as expected. Would go back in a heart beat.x

There are plenty of places to eat, we liked planet yuka, it was the best place we ate, the dinners and breakfast were good value. Also Nacho nanas. The only thing is you do get pestered by nearly all the restaurants and shopkeepers, who want you to go into their place.
The best beach we found was to turn right out of the Queens Resort and go to the top of the hill, by the taxi rank, and follow the dirt track with a sign pointing "to beach". You go through the bar there, and on to the beach and the sun beds were free, and soft drinks were only £1 each. The kids loved this part of the beach. And there was hardly anyone else there.
We booked to go to the market to get our "bargins" but found out after, the prices were actually cheaper in the resort, particularly the clothes. But we did enjoy the experience of the market in Turgretis.
We really enjoyed our holiday, and the Queens Resort is a fantastic place to stay, in a good location. We really enjoyed the turkish night, the BBQ was really nice, a lot of food.

We stayed in Gumbet and found it always to be very clean and tidy. The sea and the beach are also very clean. People very friendy and would all go out of thier way to help you. Gumbet is very safe, and you can walk along on the beach alone duing the day or night.
