Gumbet is a lively resort with plenty of pubs clubs and loads of shops. The shop keepers can be a pain trying to drag you in.
We went to see the dreamgirls show it was well worth the money we had a great nite.
The beach was clean and we never struggled to get a sunbed. We were there in may and can imagine it would get crowded in high season as the beach is quite small.
I would definately recommend this resort and hotels to others.

The resort is great with a wide choice of bars restaurants cafes shops and shows. so there is so much to do its quite a lively resort at night.
The only complaint we had was the harassment from staff to go in to there shops and bars but if you just say no and dont talk to them then they leave you alone.
The beach is thin but long and a bit shinglely but has sun beds and bean bags to chill out on but all owned by the surrounding hotels as the beach from is all owned by the hotels full of there bars and restaurants but is very nice.
We would definitely go back.

Loved Gumbet.
Beach small but in wide bay. Good for swimming. Fairly clean. Cigarette butts and dogs being slight problem.
Lovely walk into Gumbet at night. Mild hassle from shops and bars but polite no does the trick.
Would most certainly return.

Gumbet is very pleasant resort in October, not too busy and clean. Nice beach area but you have to pay for sunbeds. You can walk along to the shops and restuarants both day and night safely which takes about 10 minutes. Good selection of restuarants and we found the food plentiful and good. Nice restuarant next door to the Jasmin, very friendly and food not bad if you don't want to bother walking into town.

As it was the end of the season it was fairly quiet in the resort with not much night time entertainment. The beach area was excellent catering for all our childrens needs with snorkelling,swimming and lots of watersports. The bookable excursions were very good value and the overall resort cheap to eat out etc.All the staff we met in the restaurants and shops were friendly and pleasant and helpfull.

The resort of Gumbet is very clean - lots of bars shops and restaurants take some money for genuine fake goods as they are called by shopkeepers if you like designer names as the shops are full of them. Beach is lovely with some very nice quiet beach bars if you wanta quiet drink in the evening.

Gumbet is excellent I have been loads of times and most of the locals know me very well. The men fancy anything with a pulse and pound signs and will marry you at the drop of a hat.
The beach is lovely, boat trips from Dolphin restaurant are good, have a turkish bath and massage 1st day to break you in.
All bars are good but Great Escape club is the best opens at 0500 as the people who work in the bars finish so they can enjoy the clubs to
