Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler was a lovely resort, nice beach, good restaurants and bars, shops, watersports, and trips and friendly, we visited Marmaris for a day and didnt like it.

We didn't like the resort at first as you get a lot of hassle, people wanting you in their resturaunt but it grew on us once we knew where everything was we could avoid the hassle. The people are extremley friendly too.
If your booking trips go to Erkvoy travel agents as their prices were fantastic.

icmeler lovely resort everyone very friendly.been back 3 times now its not like going on holiday but meeting up with old friends,nothings too much trouble,they treat men,women and kids all the same.would come back year upon year husband would like a change but we no we will always come back.roll on 2007!!!

Icmeler is a lot quieter than Marmaris but there is still plenty to do. Plenty of bars and places to eat. Lots and lots of shop so you can shop till you drop even in the earlet hours of the morning.
The beach is clean and the sea is so clear with plenty of sunbeds to use. You can also go in to the old village and see how the locals live.

The resort is exeptionally clean and all the roads and pavements are complete.
Enterainment in icmeler is the same throughout turkey with little live music but the staff in the bars and restaurants are really friendly.
The beach is a shingle beach which is well cleaned daily and has endless sun loungers with staff who will get you food and drink throughout the day.
Very popular with tourists. Many tourists, myself included return at least once a year.

This was our third visit to Icmeler and although a lot quieter than on previous trips, still remained peaceful. The beach is excellent. Unfortunately due to the poor quality of the Hotel Idas I don't think we will visit this resort again.

Icmeler is a lovely resort with a nice beach, plenty of bars and restaurants to visit and incredibly friendly staff. This was our first trip to Turkey and I would happily go back again.
I cant recommend Mario's Italian restaurant highly enough. With beautiful terrace overlooking the beach and sea, delicious food of the highest quality and staff who couldn't be more friendly or helpful (they even ran out to the local market to get candles for my friends 'birthday cheescake' and to top it off they will send a car to your hotel to pick you up. Perfect!

the restaurant bars are all fantastic,the food is done to a very high standard, but very reasonably priced,efes beer is nice and cheap . while spirits are quite expensive. the resort is the best in turkey , the beach is great , just a pound for a sunbed.
