Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Resort is beautiful and loads and loads going on. Bars go out of their way to entertain. I'm not a beach person so that I don' bother with and with the pool the Julian forest as got you don't need the beach. Turkish people are great people and we will be back in August.

We enjoyed Icemeler very much and appreciated it more once we had visited Marmaris! It would be nice however to be able to take a walk without being hassled at each and every step!!!
Early evenings are fantastic for walking as it is cool the market by the beach is lively.
We would definately go to Icemeler again.

Icmeler has something for all ages. you could stay her for a month and still not eat in every restaurant. Fav ones The Chef in the main town (ask for Elvis - you will see he looks like Elvis anyway) - and Reg. The Love Boat again in the town. The Wayside restaurant just down from Kleopatra delicious meals. The Angel Inn - up the top of the road from the Kleopatra and the Pinewood Apartment they do lovely meals too.
Dreamboys and Wonderboys - real teenage disco bar - great fun for a couple of hours for my age but my teenage boys loved it - but I found they stung you for the cocktails so stick to your usual drink.
All in all Icmeler is lovley. I thought the beach and sea disppointing - not crystal clear water but I'm more of a pool person anyway.
Going to Hisonaru this year but only because 3 times in the same resort gets a bit repetative but will return to Icmeler some time in the future.

been to the resort b4 and have to say cant imagine not going back! thelocl food is superb, the entertainment is fab and the local people couldnt be friendlier:)

this is the first time we have visited icmeler and we loved it, there was plenty to do especailly at night, the area had something for every one, so one should get bored. the resort is clean and friendly with not to much pestering from the locals (unlike marmaris) we will be going back again in the future as we have nithing bad to say about it.

Beautiful location. River running through the town "river walk" is a lovely place on the evening. Recommend any restaurant along there.

A lovely resort lively enough but not over the top on your doorstep - if you want more pubs/clubs Marmaris is a few mins away, so many nice resturants and bars.
The beach is ok but man made but still lovely and clean, lots of lovel places to take a walk in the evening I'd give it 10/10 and would go back tomorrow!!!

The resort was very pretty and clean. Plenty of bars and restaurants with very friendly staff falling over themselves to please. Beach facilities were good with showers and toilets easily accessible and bar service if required.

Icmeler is a lovely place, the beach is clean and you can have waiter service if you want while sunbathing.
You can have loud disco type bars and you can have the typical Turkish bars with a mix of traditional music and some soothing music so there is a choice.
I am planning on changing my holiday I have booked in September from Mamaris to Icmeler its a nicer place to go for the more mature person, hopefully to the Oylum Gardens .
