Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Icmeler is a very picturesque "village" surrounded by green mountains with a large beach in the bay. The town centre has loads of bars and resturaunts to try with a good scattering of shops. One problem that seems to be all over Turkey is the "No Hassle" problem they have, just say no thanks and move on and enjoy a great holiday. The beach is of fine shingle with clear blue sea and 2 bed chairs and brollie cost around £1 for the day. We found the Turkish people polite and fun and look forward to returning to a lovely destination soon.

we once again stayed in icmeler and once again are amazed how fantastic it is
we just love icmeler and have so many friends that we see year after year
we have two favourite restaurants that are wayside and the loveboat. we have been going to the loveboat for four years now and two years to wayside as it only opened last year
we have so many friends in both restaurants and cant wait until next year to see them again

I have been coming to this resort,along with my wife and 2 friends from Doncaster, for the past eight years.
The resort is always clean the entertaintment is varied and there is something to suit all age groups try the karaoke bar for a great night out.
The beach is always clean and there are plenty of sunbeds to relax on and there are plenty of watersports for you to try. we always look forward to going back each year, as we like to look round the shops there are always bargains to be had and the Wednesday market should not be missed.

Second time in Turkey,but first in Icemeler.We were delighted the place is beautiful,the people were friendly and food in all the local resturants was excellant and i would definitely visit again.

we spent a few days and nights in the resort of Icemeler and found it to be a very pleasent place, we were wary of the various venders, but were proved wrong. They have introduced a "No Hassle" approach which works well. The resort was quiet, so there was plenty of scope and choice to eat out at the many resturants, our favourite was Contes on the beach, which had nice staff and the meal was exellent

Icmeler is great , something for everyone and all tasts .
Good bars and restaurants which make you welcome . Recommend the weekly market for a bit of haggling and some good bargins.

If there is one activity you got to try its the jeep safari, its superb but be warned make sure you take a water gun, and a big one at that!

For some reason Icmeler was very quiet. As a result there was competition between the bars which led to getting hassled.
There is a lot of choice and wheather you are into watching sport with a pint, dancing, karioke, or a quiet candlelit meal you will find it.
Go on a boat trip, or on one of the many excursions or hire a jeep or scooter and go on your own trip.
Then get back and have a nice Turkish bath and massage or catch the last rays on the beach.
With Marmaris and its nightclubs 10 mins along the coast, everything you need for a great holiday is here...And it needn't break the bank.

Resort is clean and good for familys.
Entertainment: around all the pubs is good and free.
Beach is nice but taken over by everyone selling you a sunbed real shame.
