Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Not so close to the beach although we liked it as we have friends in the village from the first apart we stayed in.

Ichmeler is absolutly brilliant.
We have stayed in Marmaris twice before this and would not dream of going back .

I have been to this resort twice before and it is brilliant the entertainment around the resort is excellent and i will visit this resort again but not for a while.

What can I say been twice and have already booked to go again next July. It has just the right mix of everything to make a holiday great whether you are young, old or in the middle.

Icmeler is a very attractive resort surrounded by pine-clad hills.
It is not as noisy or crowded as neighbouring Marmaris and has many excellent restaurants.Try Ozzy's,the Kingsland and the Pyramid.Although our apartment was in a quiet residential area it was only a 2min walk to the nearest shops and restaurants and another 10mins to the resort centre.
A visit to the weekly market is a must but be prepared to barter and experience some hardsell!
Only found ourselves on the beach when we stepped off the water dolmus from Marmaris(great way to travel)and whilst it did not consist of fine golden sand did appear clean and not too crowded.
If you enjoy a slightly more laid-back holiday in attractive surroundings Icmeler is for you!

Just back from Icemeler,Myself and family had a great time here, plenty of shops where you haggle for everything they have to sell you, the only down point with the shopping is they do hassle you a bit, but if you just say hello and wave and walk on to the next shop, they are alright, There are plenty of bargains to get while you are there, all designer clothes at great great prices. Restuarants are very competetive to every other place, food in all restuarants that we went to were very nice and big helpings to, and all put on a show, in the evening, We got very friendly with all the bar staff In Oscars Bar, Especially Ali, the staff do a great break dancing show, and Joseph brings your desired drink balanced on his head, the food is very good and is always a good helping, You must try the Turkish Kebab its delicous, The beach is not that far away from the main resort about ten minutes walk from where we were staying, the beach is very clean, and lots of things to do,and if you hire a sun bed they will serve you drinks all day if you want,When we were there it was very very hot in the high 40's so plenty of suncream needed, I would most definately go back to this resort.

Icemeler has something for everyone and far nicer than it's neighbouring resort of Marmaris.
It has a very clean safe beach with ample sunbeds. There is lots to do and at very competitive prices. Restaurants and bars are plentiful without it being over rowdy. The shopping is great.

What a fabulous place, utterly beautiful, i fell in love with it and am already planning my next visit. My little sister also loved it, we went on boat trips, i went jet skiing, fell off as we were doing 120km an hour, was hilarious as i couldnt get back on as i was laughing so much . The people, the food, the bars all great, fishbowls of cocktails are good value for money but play havoc with your head the following day lol. One tip tho, whatever you do dont walk on the sand in your bare feet, you will get them burnt. All in all one of the best places i have ever been cant wait to go again. Enjoy it xxxxx

Overall first visit to Turkey left me impressed with the food, cleanliness, friendliness but uncomfortable with some aspects, attitudes to females in paticular.

the resort cant fault it been there for the last three years icmeler is a good clean resort very friendly
