Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

icmeler is beautiful. i would love to go back next year. most of the staff in icmeler are very friendly and the majority do not hassle you. however, there are a few that are rude and curse you for not visiting their bars. you get use to it. great holiday for couples and families.

The resort was beautiful, will be going back next year, entertainment was great in the centre, the beach was fantastic.

The market in Icmeler is on a Wednesday and is much better than Mamaris that is all enclosed with narrow passageways and like a madhouse.If you do go don’t be conned by the rep there are plenty of dolmus going to and coming back from Mamaris
Ichmeler is great and has something for everyone and I will be going back but not to the Miray,mainly because of the staff of Troy’s although this is purely my opinion as I said before some people love the attention. When there are many better hotels to choose from I think we will try one of those next time
We went with Goldtrail and our arrival was fine, but we did not find out until we received our welcome pack that although our flight home was at 17.00hrs they were picking us up at 9.30am,the Goldtrail rep was no help about the flight or the hot water or anything else for that matter.

Icmeler has been the best resort i have ever stayed in, the people are freindly and always willing to help.
The streets are very clean no graffitti or litter.
The entertainment was wonderful.. The venice ( Along the Canal ) Inparticularly was amazing. Food was nice in there aswell.
I dont go to the beach but i did see it. and it was a shingle beach. It was very nice but lots of sunbeds available at no charge !!
Goin back next year !!

Only visited the resort of Icemeler once and ound the beach to be extremely busy. All the bars and shops were clean and the people very friendly.
The resort of Marmaris is extremely busy - some of the shopkeepers are a bit too enthusiastic to get to you to shop with them - sometimes to the point of being rude when you refused to go into their shops. Being an all girl group, one or two of our party found it a bit intimidating walking round the shopping centre alone.
In one particular jewellers, The Titanic Jewellery shop the owner and his assistants were really nice - no hassle to purchase, and the jewellery, as in most jewellery shops, was to die for.
The weather was the hottest we've ever experienced - so go prepared with plenty of sun screen - we even took a small fan which we couldn't have done without.

Resort was excellent everyone was friendly an the was very little hassle. Staff in restaurants and bars would drop you off and pick you up from your hotel.
The resort had a lovely breeze at night and came alive with dancing and laughter with a little bit of local banter.
Turkish people are naturally friendly there are a few that seem a bit fake and pushy.
Trips with Erokoy were cheep and fantastic Jeep safari £7 and it was the best day out ever dont beleive them when they say you get a little wet you get a lot wet all day but its fab, Dalyan Turtle beach and mud baths trip cost £9.00 -brilliant but mucky and slippy when you get out of mud.
Lazy day 5 bay boat trip £5 - relaxing, all these trips included food which was great. Turkish bath and shave is a must.

first time ever to turkey,wont be the last. icemeler resort brill.beach clean and shallow. so many restaurents to eat in all very cheap and of a good standard.waterfall restaurent is a must, setting is unbelievable. opposite our hotel was the Havana bar, za za the owner and all his staff so friendly especially with children. breakfast £1 ,beer £1, sky tv, what more could you ask for, will definitely return .
