Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Putting the hotel to one side Icmeler is a lovely place, with plenty of great places to eat and drink where the atmosphere is excellent and friendly.
If you get a chance book a boat trip to the mud baths. We paid £11 each and it was well worth the money!
The Beach didn't have sand it was pebbles but this did not stop us from going as it was still nice.
Would I go back?
Yes I think I would but I would not book with this group of hotels or book through the company again.

The resort was fantastic loads of cafe bars to chose from you still get a wee bit hassle, but they are funny with it in a nice way lets face it they are trying to make a living like every one else .
Do try wonder boys bar they are so funny I never got fed up just watching them. but they are all very nice and will do their best to make your stay a pleasant one I would give Icmeler 10/10 for every thing food, cleanliness, I could go on and on the local chippy was fab better than home ask for a cocktail girls you get a laugh - brilliant.

icmelor is a very nice place, everybody is friendly. The beach although not sandy is very clean.

Icemeler is one of the cleanest resorts we have ever visited, plenty of bars and restaurants, never had a bad meal wherever we ate. The beach is lovely and clean and only 5 lira for 2 sunbeds and umberella for the day. We will definately be visiting Icemeler again and would recommend it to anyone.

turkey is unblemished,they do not know what litter is. streets are beautiful with lots of old buildings and old characters sitting around.
Near the beach in Icemeler and especially in Marmaris there is lots of good entertainment buses to take you anywhere are only about one and a half lira.
beach is made up of shale so you need to wear shoes, but is spotless with beautiful clear water

The resort is very good, clean and plenty to do.
Lots of nice restaurants and bars and you are made very welcome.
The florida resturant is excellent the staff there are brilliant.

the resort is spectacular. spotless not a piece of litter anywhere.beautiful scenery, lovely beaches, great shops. natives a lot over powering trying to drag you into every shop and restaurant but its just their way. well worth seeing.

Icmeler is a bit like Marmaris but quieter and I think that it is more suited for a family oriented holiday.
The streets and resort itself were very clean compared to the streets of Newcastle and Gateshead and the entertainment was at a good standard also.
Most of the bars finished at 12am but the two nightclubs there ended at round about 4.
Although there are posters and banners that say 'No Hassle' most of the restaurants and bars still persist on doing it. It can be quite annoying but just say no politely and they will move on to their next victim.
I would love to visit this resort again and I would recommend it to anyone!

We enjoyed icmeler this year more than Marmaris last year as it wasn't as hectic, even though there is plenty to do, loads of great bars and restaurants, dreambous was especially good and reasonable too, the walk along the coast path to marmaris is a must as the scenery is breathtaking, there are a few sea view eating places along the way, we are going back next year 07 for the 3rd time.

Stayed in icmeler. Very clean and friendly area. Enjoyed the excursions especially the safari trip of which you definitely need a water pistol. Will definitely be going back. The Turkish people are all lovely and really friendly. Service is excellent. Great for couples and large groups.
