Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

Well, we think Icmeler is a fantastic resort. Never visited before and thought it was great. Lots of places to eat, drink and watch the entertainment. Lots of touting, but a polite, no thank you, already eaten, perhaps come back later was sufficient. Beach was nice, beware of the beach sellers, we saw two policeman confiscate one chaps fruit supply. Nice walk along the front. Beach is nice, sand a little gritty, but lots of sun loungers, and people asking you if you would like one. Lots of bars by the beach, would recommend Bamboo. Nice market area alongside the canal. Tranport, lots of domuses, just hail and they will pick you up. Water taxis to Marmaris, quite a nice boat ride in itself. Water sports, para sailing etc. Lots of boat and day trip vendors. Good bars, we enjoyed going in, Diva, The Rock and Roll bar, opposite the Love Boat, play all the oldies, from the 60s to the 80s. Favourite restaurants, Turkish Delight, lovely staff. Red Lion, Champagne. It is a quieter resort than Marmaris, but if you want a lot more, just jump in a taxi or domus and Marmaris is just down the road. Icmeler, smashing resort, will be going again.

Its is a very clean area and not to crowded.If you want you can get on the bus for only 1 lira 50 each and go to marmaris.They are lot of trips for all the family !

Icemeler itself is very piteresque and is quite a big resort, the only problem is the entertainment is the same in every bar/restaurant and it can be very boring over a two week stay.
The beach isnt very nice either the sea is very dark and murky and we did see some odd things floating in it.
We did however get good beachside service by a man named patrick who brought you drinks and food etc and didnt charge very much.
We did a half day bot trip and i was very good.
Overall i would come back here but maybe when the kids are older becuase theres not much to do and the turkish are really bad at hassaling you and the kids.

the ares is wonderful and you can choose between quiet or lively entertainment at night with some brilliant restaurants

Icmeler- lovelly resort, usual water sports to do and shopping/sunbathing during the day/plenty of trips. Beach nice,very pretty surroundings around the bay, but shingle sand and hurts your feet! Resort entertainment good for familys, plenty nice places to eat, canal nice place to go on a night for food/drink entertainment too. Would visit again but would take more spending money as it is defo not as cheap as people make out! And not really a young couples holiday, but good for families.

This is a lovely resort very picturesque. Lots of bars and restaurants so we were spoilt for choice, ate at quiet a few different ones. The bars were good entertainment pretty much the same in each one (tribute acts, robot dancer, belly dancer) but good fun, the turkish waiters are excellent dancers. Would definately recommend this resort.

there was no entertainment so you had to go out somewhere else..beach is gorgeous and very clean..im definately goin back again goin to take the kids this time

14th year going to icmeler and will be back next year the resort is spotless and the people are so friendly the entertainment is excellant so many differant places to go the food is so good we eat out every night of our holiday i will certainly be back
