Have to try Tommy's bar (2 minutes over the road) - fantastic food and service - Also Meryhem (a 10 minute walk towards square) is absolutely the best if you like local cuisine - try the mixed meze starter - WoW!

Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, and depending if you like Boom Boom bars or places for a chill drink, everything is on your doorstep, but doesn't interfere with your sleep.

icmeler itself is lovely, there is a really nice canal with lots of bars, restaurants, shops and market stalls (be prepared to haggle). all the locals speak pretty good english and we were made to feel welcome everywhere we went, nothing is too much trouble. there are plenty of supermarkets, handy when self catering, one near the ece apartments opens 24 hours and exchanges money. we didnt use the beach during the day but went down late afternoon, seems well kept and clean. in our whole holiday we never saw any litter. we are definately planning another holiday in icmeler but for 2 weeks rather than 1 as there seems to be alot to see and do which we just didnt have time for.

Icmeler in general is a poor `Blackpool` there are too many restaurants ,hairdressers ,and people trying to sell you excursions .There isn`t much in the way of entertainment as all the restaurants use the same `belly dancer ,Michael Jackson ,`Barman` and break-dancer format and once you`ve seen it that`s it.
The beach is very good we used `Ibrahim`s beach by Yakamoz restaurant which cost £1 a bed but was very clean and Ibrahim would look after you all day fetching food and drinks.
I would visit Icmeler again but be more selective about the hotel and try to go for half or full board .Generally meals are quite reasonably priced but this price often doubles when you add a couple of drinks.

Loads of bars and restaurants and most of the good. Alins Grill was the best and cheapest whilst Privat (ex-Dreamboys) was rip-off and a load of hassle to get more money off you. Avoid it if you can.
Best bars were Oscars and Dream Three Bells but if you like playing pool tournaments then go to New Sound and challenge Ali and his brothers. You'll have a laugh trying to work Turkish Pool rules, they change every game but the atmosphere is great and the lads look after you.

Icmeler is a very clean place in general, there are loads of places to eat, drink & some clubs too. We found that entertainment usually starts after 10pm so as a family with young children we missed alot of it.
The beach was ery narrow so it was packed with sun loungers right up to the edge of the sea so there was not much room for children to play on the cool wet sand.
We are hoping to go back next year as we loved Icmeler as everyone was so friendly!

Icmeler is quieter than its' bigger neighbour Marmaris, but there is still plenty to do though.
The beach is better than the one in Marmaris and the surrounding mountains make it a really pretty place to visit.

Icmeler is a lovely resort with stunning scenery. The beach is shingle and has plenty of watersports and restaurants along the promenade. Most bars have entertainment playing awful music, but people seem to enjoy it. The loud music has to be turned off at midnight, Thank God.
It is difficult to find anything to buy to bring home as most stalls in the market sell absolute tack. A fantastic Turkish restaurant to eat in is called the Shahim, just around the corner from the Travellers Rest. The owners are so friendly and helpful, another restaurant is the Waterfall in the old village. There are plenty of boat trips, The Surf and Turf being the better one as it doesn't play that awful music! Be careful about buying ice cream on the trip though, as they charge you the earth. A visit to Turunc is a must, very pretty

I love ichmeler... loads of nice places to eat, The Lighthouse is a must for the best steaks in town.
Do not like English pubs and bars with big screens playing football and Coronation Street, there were too many of them!!!!
If you go to the far end of the beach past the Fantasia Hotel, you can get drinks and snacks served to you from the Brothers Cafe, and they had big sun shades, great if you have kids....beach is very safe and breathtaking views...

Stayed in Icmeler the beach was clean, quite a few of the bars are a little annoying trying to get you to eat there, even when you say you have already eaten they still carry on
Did not like along the canal and beach front at night children with bathroom scales asking for a lira
Otherwise excellent plenty of bars to choose from, plenty of places to eat, nice beach what more can you want
